I thought Zi-O would be an easy pass for me, but I'm loving Geiz's design for some reason -________-

Nano weapons set official revealed

http://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000127943/

If you sell your retail version you'll just lose the large cannon with charge effect since the Nano weapons set already includes the smaller cannon

I can't read Japanese but from the few translations I managed to get, I think the text at the top of the photos where the figure has a the normal arms and legs mention something about it being sold separately. I think that this nanoweapon set actually just comes with the blade arms and big feet and not normal arms or feet. So you would actually need the regular Mark 50 release if you want the normal arms and feet. Maybe someone who can read Japanese can verify.

Under the product contents on the P-Bandai page it says:
アイアンマン マーク50本体(ウイング・両手・両足は武器装着状態)
which I Google translates to:
"Iron Man Mark 50 body (wing, both hands, both feet are equipped with weapons)"

Since it doesn't actually list the nanoweapons as separate accessories I think that means no normal arms and feet.

Would make sense--or as much sense as possible considering the crappy method they already decided to release the first one. Still, no hammer fists? lame

FFS Bandai. Why couldn't you just have released the whole thing as a single set for a slightly higher cost?

Bandai- but, but. double dipping! More profit! To extend our reach to the stars above!

Silly question. If someone buys a figuart from an online store like AmiAmi how does bandai make a profit?

Wouldn't that $72 dollars + tax all go to AmiAmi?

I dont expect Bandai and Tamashii Nations to do every Rider Form but at least the Final Form of the Main Rider should get a release (even Mugen Damashii).

Bandai sold the Figuarts to the stores for more than it cost to make them. The stores only buy them if they think they can sell them for more than it cost to buy them.

Do you mean preowned toys?

Considering the Build Figuarts are basically the exact same body type and technology as the Ghost ones (right down to the rattly torso) and no-one's complaining, I think Mugen Damashii would be just fine.

I'm gonna need a side by side on this considering I don't own the ghost figuarts anymore, but from my messing around, Build figuarts seem to have better everything and be able to actually do torso moving poses without creaking and straining

Considering that

1) Tamashii Web exclusives have a habit of using molds even if theyíre bad.

2) Ghostís track record of horribly tight waist articulation.

3) The ghost line of figuarts being deader than dead and essentially changing the release of forms for Kamen rider forever.

3) Ghostís unpopularity.

Could Mugen happen? Maybe. Itíll depend if ghost gets vindicated.

Also on the build being the same as ghost, Iíll agree with the legs at least. But the upper parts of the body? I didnít have to fight with buildís waist like I did with ghost.

This. I wouldnít be surprised if this was the main reason people stopped getting Ghost figuarts altogether...... That and everyone hates ghost at the time, lol.

I didn't say anything about Ghost's popularity, because that's the ONLY factor in Ghost barely getting any Figuarts releases; the actual figures themselves are, for the most part, fine. This idea that the quality of the Figuarts affected the releases is a myth; Tamashii would have re-used that mould a thousand times for all of Ghost's parka forms had they actually sold. They didn't, because Japan just didn't care about Ghost.

But yeah, Ghost, Amazons and Build all share the same basic construction/engineering. Ex-Aid avoided it by having its own standard body that almost every figure in the line shared.

Well, there could be a number of reasons people just said f it and quit ghost. No one knows. Oooooooooo.....

If Amazons and build share the same stuff from ghost, then they clearly realized their own garabage ideas and got better (though, having to not deal with the parka ghosts was probably what had them improve considerably).
