Disney's Jungle Cruise

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is attached to star in the movie based on the long-running Disney Park ride.

One can only hope his character's name is Dan, so they can use a certain Weird Al song.

It's a Small World or GTFO.

First look teaser at the Jungle Cruise movie.

Well...bless Disney for not letting Tomorrowland flopping to dissuade them from this movie?

Didn’t Haunted Mansion and Country Bears also bomb?

Disney gets one surprise hit out of all their theme park attractions movies and they’re still making them, hoping for the next Pirates

Presumably Disney believes that those two movies were far back enough that the general public has forgotten about them.

Never heard of those movies before

They probably wish John Carter of Mars could be wiped from existence too.

I was expecting footage from the actual movie. I'm not sure why but I'm actually looking forward to this.

I'm surprised he didn't say "Jungle Book".

It's The Rock. It'd be weird if you weren't.

Because Dwayne Johnson is just fun to watch in anything.

No offense, but this movie will be a Jumanji knock off.

Johnson and Disney have just shared a video showcasing how huge the set will be for this film.

I love The Rock, I really do, but I feel like we need a break from him. Just for a little while.

But I am intrigued by this. I love the ride (when I get a guide that is actually funny...)

...and it looks like the movie's wrapped. Huh.

Well that was fast. And no set leaks either. Which means:

a.) Disney being Disney was running a tightly closed and secure set.

b.) All of the usual geek media outlets didn't care about Jungle Cruise and didn't bother reporting on anything.
