Thanks. Wonder if there'll be any figures of her in the toyline, though...

Wow. TB2 looks so different being that flat and angular. It looks great but it gives off such a different feel.

The Thunderbirds don't combine, Tavis. This isn't Super Sentai.

Wow, they've really squared up TB2. Can't wait to get all these. I hope they hit retail in Australia so I don't have to import them. The Tracy Island set looks like it's going to be huge!

Also, loving John's boots. I might have to actually get the figures for this too. I am going to spend so much money on this, its ridiculous.

I think they've ruined the genius of the pods TBH. in the original shape, they'd roll back onto the flat. Now they risk landing on their sides.
Thats the joke.
It's not very good

Give it chance guys as soon as it hits the Japanese market they will put their own spin on it just like they did with Thomas The Tank Engine.

If that's a joke, where's the smiley? You can't hear the tone of voice in a typed message, so if there's no smiley, of course I'll take it seriously.

The Thunderbirds are due a mecha for the hilarity of it. There was the combiner in this series after all.

Reminds me of that one time the TMNT were an anime and became Power Rangers using the power of crystals.

Here's an interesting tidbit. David Graham's recent interview apparently confirms that Jeff Tracey will be absent when the series begins...whether or not he's dead or missing is not known, but already it seems there will be some intrigue to the arc of this series as we see how the boys cope with having to arrange missions on their own

Good lord, that is beautiful. They've really gone all-out on the set design and lighting. Even that cinematography and music was great. You can really tell just how much time and effort they've put into it all.

Anyone worried about the lack of the classic score need not panic

The music is also very much a modern take on the wonderful work done by Barry Grey. He created these epic, brassy, filmic soundtracks, and of course the theme tune is really quite military, a reflection of Gerry Andersonís time in the R.A.F. (the British Royal Air Force). Our version has a slightly more syncopated rhythm, but itís still that amazing, dramatic piece of music.

I do find it interesting that the interview says "there's no violence, no guns or even any conflict" when I seem to remember there being all three... Unless he was referring to the new show in that part and means that's stuff they've taken out, but it does seem like he's saying it in context of the original.

I do look forward to this though. Certainly more anticipation for this than I had with the Captain Scarlet remake.

They will go to the Hood twice, once they have travelled in space. Now there's a Leprechaun reference nobody will get

Perhaps the first series will focus on the International Rescue aspect of the show, before a second season introduces the espionage/Hood plotlines from the original show.
