Just edited my post. I didnt bother with the waist stickers and straight up painted it. All the gold parts were painted on my build. Some stickers I did use. I painted my Shogun Megazord's face!

Ya know, maybe BD Labels can do a set for these kits..

Oh. Can you take some close up pictures and how you painted it? I took off my waist stickers till some better solution shows up

Its kind of late here, but I'll try to post some pics tomorrow! Basically, what I did was use Vallejo Mecha Color, Steel color thinned it, and applied a few coats.to the areas that are supposed to be dull silver on the Shogunzords.

It looks very prominent on the belt section of the Shogun Megazord's waist. I didn't even bother painting the red sections of the waist, because its not red in the TV show.

Also I painted all the gold parts, gold. Anything else I used the stickers, like the castle windows part, or the red parts of the Black and Yellow Shogunzords.

Finally, THE SHOGUN MEGAZORD CAN INDEED BE MOUNTED INSIDE TITANUS WITH NO PROBLEMS! = D !

Shogun Ultrazord, here we come!

EDIT: I used a gloss finish on the steel and gold colored paint

Something I noticed is that the Shogun Megazord can gain just a bit more height with those thigh joints extended a bit. It leaves a tiny gap, but its not noticeable under the armored skirt. I wonder if theres someone on Shapeways who could help design a piece to remedy that?

My Shogun Megazord was delivered earlier today. Before I start to assemble it, I wanted to look into the problems people were having. I read back and understand the issue with Red Shogunzordís thigh, but Iím still confused about the issue with the neck pieces for yellow/black. What are people trimming on that grey piece? The neck post or somewhere underneath the grey piece?

You see those two notches that connect to the piece that form the joint? There is excess plastic on those notches. Those parts have to be shaved down. The last page has a good pic of that

I see it now. Itís the sides of the circular portion that connects there. Thanks! Iím gonna be sweating bullets trying to file it down, but Iíd rather have a sort of loose connection than a broken one.

If you have a nail file works too. File it down enough to squeeze through

Also shave down the thigh connectors tubes. They're too tight. You could break the front thigh part if you force the back part to turn

Now it's loose enough to rotate with out snapping the front piece

I've already got some stress on the connector part with that pink line

Ive said this a million times, but shaving it down and having silicon oil really really helps this out.

EDIT:

Gold Samurai requested how the belt part looks like painted.

Also, more proof Shogun Megazord can mount Titanus!

Any specific brand of silicone shock oil that you would recommend?

My Muteki Shogun came in the mail today, but I canít put it together quite yet; my vision is still a bit blurry. I still havenít been able to assemble my Zyuranger mecha yet either. The time will come though. Itíll at least give me time to order some silicone oil and some metallic red paint for a few pieces.

Ohh! What Metallic Red paint do you want to buy? I need some for a custom Metal Heroes figure. Also, what part will you color metallic red?

So I saw a discussion on BD15 Labels about labels for the Super Minipla zords? He said to someone that he'd consider it if there was demand. Would you guys get any if they were available?

i know I would. The stickers on the Dino Megazord are bad.

EDIT: Recreating some pics I tried earlier, but with better lighting.

In case there was any doubt - Bluefin has officially announced that they will be bringing the Super Minipla Megaranger mecha to the US.

https://www.bluefinbrands.com/blog/p...inipla-series/

Astro Megazord Delta Megazord join the lineup of SUPER MINIPLA series!

Due out in Q1 2019, this Power Rangers in Space Set should be in every collectorís lineup.

Astro Megazord and Delta Megazord join the lineup of SUPER MINIPLA series! Each can transform from the robot mode into the ship/shuttle mode (called Megaship and Megashuttle), and they also can combine to form the Astro Delta Megazord.

From the Astro Megaship (which can also transform into the Astro Megazord), the Space Rangers patrol the galaxy as they try to locate Zordon and rescue him from Dark Specter, who intends to absorb the sage's power into himself.

The Delta Megaship is the second Megaship Zord of the Red Space Ranger in Power Rangers: In Space. It was remotely controlled through the Red Space Ranger's Battlizer Gauntlet and therefore did not require a pilot.

MSRP: $42.00

Release Date: 3/15/2019

That's only the BoA partnership. I can't imagine Hasbro would put a stop to them with BlueFin because they have to at least maintain a business relationship with them considering regardless, they're one of the the parent companies of the brand in Asia.

No real skin off my nose, personally: they're running out of post-Zyuranger mecha to make into model kits that haven't already had a standard minipla release anyway. In Space is honestly the last one I'd really want, personally. But that's me.
