Nothing airs episodes over the summer months, except for the networks' bottom-feeder shows that they ordered and just needed a space to run them. Shoot, Disney couldn't even burn off Bizaardvark over the Summer: They eke'd out six episodes before shelving it, except for the holiday specials.

I would love a bi-weekly air schedule for the entire year, except for the three months of the holidays (November/December/January), barring a Christmas special. It'd keep interest going for the entire year, and maybe throw in an "in case you missed it" clip show/recap-type episode a couple of weeks before the season premiere: Do it on the cheap. We'll eat it up.

Frankly if Sailor Moon Crystal has taught me anything, waiting 2 weeks for bad product just makes it worse. If they were ever to do that, they need to be firing on all cylinders.

I don't think a bi-weekly schedule would work. People tune in one week, it's on. They tune in the next week, its not on, they don't come back the next week assuming its on hiatus again, or cancelled. Ratings would drop right off, and while they're not the most important thing in terms of brand viability, they are important in Nick selling advertising spots that keep it being added to the schedule in the first place.

Eh, DVRs make up for that though generally. Sure, not everyone has them but still. Though I wouldn't want to wait every other week for the show either.

Hasn't Disney tried "two to three new episodes per month" style? I mean, biweekly schedule for me means they air a new episode, then re-air it the week after (like a catchup to those who missed it). I don't think people would mistake for a hiatus if they noticed that it would be a new/replay cycle everytime. Then just announce in the midseason finale when it will return.

Remember when Lionsgate was blocking basically most Ninja Steel videos, clips, and fan edits on YT?
Well, 4 Super Ninja Steel videos of mine were blocked by Lionsgate!!!

Why would Lionsgate do that? Surely that's up to Hasbro?

Lionsgate distributes the DVDs. They've also gone after Angry Joe, filing a claim on his Hellboy trailer reaction video. And odds are, it wasnt a bot, but a manual claim.

I wish Hasbro fully control on the creative freedom of the franchise.
