You guys DO know these are the same guys who've done PR's stunts since SPD, and Sentai's stunts since 1999?

All this talk of cosplay.... ew.
I know. This looks way too professional to be cosplay. The suits look fantastic in this, way better than anything Sentai's come up with recently.

It's, of course, a "professional" project.

But it sucks balls.

The Camera work. I've done better with my dv cameras.
Every shot in that preview looked horrendous because of the lighting was over blowing the camera. Now this looked exactly like my last film, where I didn't give a damn about the lighting. See, I can do what the "pros" can do.

Thats my only problem with shows like this. The Filming. This show ( I KNOW it's no where near a 'show', but they should be trying, shouldn't they?) and Dragon Knight have the worst camera choreography I've seen ... even for a childrens show.

you can do camera work like that it depends on how dedicated you are. The camera guy could be in a av course or something.

We've only seen one episode of Dragon Knight. Whose to say the camera work doesn't improve?

i was thinking the same thing. everyones really jumping the gun on this. the 2 videos and youtube were just really used to get the word out in australia thats all, and the live events they are doing is just to gain support from the community and maybe catch the eye of a sponsor.

I'm not saying it won't. But it's bad to start out at such a low point like that.
I'm still watching it, it just urks the hell out of me.

as far as the quality of the video goes, you have to take into account that this was uploaded on youtube. that alone takes away from the quality. and i dont think they were to concerend about the lighting. this was again just to promote their project.

Holy crap...just looked close at some of the pictures/photos in the first post. Goddamn...they went to Sydney and I MISSED IT!!! I would have totally been there taking pictures and orgasming over them (not literally). Aw crap...I hope it gets picked up by a network that cares.

And if it's a carbon copy of Overdrive, I will personally fly/drive/walk/travel to their offices and DEMAND that they rewrite it and reshoot it!

I was just trying to think of a way to describe the show since everyone's looking for the star shards.
Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door? Interesting...

I also get an Akumaizer 3/Noukenger/Kamen/Sailor Moon vibe.

Thats so weird: I also suddenly remembered about this show yesterday. I wondered if anything became of it in the end, but after no activity in this thread after two years, I'm guessing not.

I'm glad you would watch it, though I'm not sure why you would want an Australian show adapted, but please bump a thread that has been inactive for over a year to post so little that doesn't really add anything to it.

As it is though, this pitch and project was long ago cancelled and nothing beyond the test footage and what was shown at the start of this thread ever came out for it.

Funny part is that it's only been a year because someone bumped it after two years because they didn't figure out it was canned before it got off the ground either.

Man, Shadow looked so cool...

I wish they did turn this into a tv show.
It'd be epic if it was like the Bag Raiders "Fun Punch" Music Video

youtube.com/watch?v=fZcmg4-Zm-8

I don't think this was posted anywhere in here.
Sorry i can't post links D: (under 10 posts)

but anyway that vid was awesome.
