Then why Turn A had Boring Slow pace, Loran spent most of his time avoiding fighting I feel like I wasted my time watching this series with less MS action?

Like... yeah, Turn A Gundam is slow. That's just because the show is more focused on its characters and build-up than explicit action. If that isn't your thing, that's fine, but the notion that Turn A is objectively lesser just because it has less action demonstrates a very poor understanding of what the franchise is actually about.

There is more to Gundam than robots hitting each other and not everything needs to be a brutal war-fantasy.

Loran pacifist nature annoys me to death I prefer Badass Character like the Zeons and I can't wait for the next Thunderbolt manga Raw or Translated.

Yeah, because he's the only protagonist to have a pacifist slant. The only one ever. Yep. Nobody else.

I can tell. You've made it very clear the pacifist themes of the show have flown over your head.

No matter how many times you say "Turn A almost killed the franchise" it's not going to be true just because you keep repeating it. TV Tropes is not a source.

Oh, so like almost every Gundam show ever? The anti-war theming? Kind of the point of the show and why Tomino created it?

Give it a rest. You have no argument and you're bending over so hard to trash the show that you're trashing all of them by extension, including the ones you love.

If you don't like Turn A that's perfectly fine but you trying to frame it as an objectively bad show that almost killed the franchise is asinine and betrays your obvious bias towards Universal Century shows that do the same exact thing. You dislike it because it's different and isn't UC and you haven't even tried to deny that.

Anyway, I'm done. I've made my point and you're making yourself look worse trying to justify your reasoning.

If they do another Build series, I actually want the main protagonist to use an MS that wasn’t based on another main character’s Gundam. Or maybe use a supplementary Gundam at the very least.

I think it'd be neat if their main Gundam was a "heroic" custom of an antagonist Gundam like the Epyon or the Vidar. Mix it up a bit since we get "villainous version of a heroic Gundam" quite often.

How about the starter MS was based on the Gundam Dendrobium Stamen. And just got stronger from there?

The character designs are being headed by Sejoon Kim, the artist who did the designs for Narrative. That's neat. They're trying to create a visual bridge between the post-Axis Shock era and the F90-era. I dig it.

Meanwhile the mecha designer has never gone Gundam before, so we'll probably be getting some interesting new designs too.

Recently got my Gundam dvds out of storage and decided to take a picture of my collection:

The Endless Waltz dvd has quite a few signatures on it, including Relena, Zechs' and 4 of the main guys.

I wonder if they will made a reboot/remake of G-Saviour and put Gaiai Gear at the end of UC era ?

Yeah nice collection indeed.

As far as old school Bandai DVDs, i have Endless Waltz, 08th MS Team, 0080, and 0083.

Btw, does the Relena voice actress still attend conventions? Just curious.

Don't know. Maybe in Canada, but not sure. Was 2007 when I met her, and in Canada.

Will say, majority of those I got at my local anime convention's Bandai table before they went down. They had their own table where they sold things back then. Got Wing there in 2008, G in 2009, and Zeta, 0083 and 08th MS Team there in 2010. 2011 changed things up and got Eureka Seven as wasn't really into picking up Seed, Seed Destiny or 00.

Was looking at the first episode of the original Gundam again and will say do feel for Frau Bow when she loses her mom and grandfather. And while I know many of the enemy leaders were killed during many series, was wondering if they ever mentioned if there were war crimes trials for any of the UC wars, or any of the other series do such?

Forgot to mention this. The first of many planned Reconguista in G compilation movies premiered at a French convention a week ago to overall positive reviews. Apparently it fixes the problems people had with the series in its original run. Tomino was at the premiere and implied that 3 of the 5 movies have already been completed, so presumably we'll at least be getting those. There was also an implication that the movie will be heading to the west, so we could be receiving a dub of it in theaters like Narrative, but that's just my guess.

Started watching episode 1 of "The Origin" from the Toonami broadcast, and only seen about the first 8 minutes, will say Liam O'Brien's Gihren sounds rather menacing. Grant he's using his menacing voice, but he sounded menacing. Was surprised when they mentioned Sasro was the second son as he looks older than Gihren to me. Also looked up some things and found out Degwin in Origin was the dumb quarterback on "Daria". He played a lot of characters in that show and others, so the man has range, but still surprising.
