eBay
The hotel stay is much more expensive for me than the flight. Still waiting to see what kind of group rates they are able to negotiate.

I hope Barbara and Richard will be there.

Trying to convince Mom to get tickets, but she hates California.

by the way, is it true that a celeb, or just a persons living location has very little impact on which Cons they attend? because apparently, there are some who live in California but either very rarely or never attend Cons in California, i'm guessing it has to do with their agent, other factors involved?

I mentioned on Twitter that this rate being higher than PMC5 surprises me, since the regular rate for all these Anaheim hotels is far less than what the Westin Pasadena charges. Kinda thought the proportions would carry over.

That being said, there are MANY hotel options on the same block as the convention center and just across the street that will cost you less than the "official" hotel. I just booked four nights for $555 total -- and that includes taxes and fees ($139 a night).

Besides, how much time do you actually spend IN your room? Most of the time will be at the con center, restaurants and mingling in the lobby of the Hilton, since some events will be held there (and you don't have to be a paying guest to get in the front door!).

Do you have an idea on what some of these events are?

I have a room. If I know you, ask me nicely and I'll let you have a spot.

I bought my membership (and booked my flight). Yay!
This will be my first Power Morphicon, after missing the 2016 one because of work.

Yeah I just booked my room today at the hotel and only paying 149 a night. So the official convention rate more then I'm paying without it. also with how close the hotels are here it's not not like your going to miss anything if you you dont stay at the official hotel.

Kind of impatient for the guest announcement list, JDF is the only confirmed announcement because they're using him to promote the event

I figure the guest announcements will start around the first of the year in waves like they were last year. Bigger con should mean more guests and that will allow for 15 waves if they stick to doing them 2 waves a month.

I believe they said as much. Really looking forward to the trip. And hopefully will have the autographs I need a little bit narrowed since I went once already. Maybe lol.

Oh boy...I'm already in debt with KyuTama lol; I really don't need that, but also kind of want it.

Thankfully I'm back at my old travel agent job now, and it pays a lot better than the freelancing work. Cuts into the acting a lot though. Eventually I will strike a good balance.

But hey....it pays for toys and conventions (and bills and food). Can't complain too much.
