Good gravy they're gorgeous.

I keep thinking I can manage without it... then I see more photos. Definitely need to try and get it at some point. It's phenomenal.

Amazon is still taking pre-orders. Given that all of the Japanese pre-orders are gone I wouldn't push my luck too hard. But it seems like you should be able to grab one in May/June when the US shipment comes in.

Agreed. And I'm not sure how much more phenomenal it can get.

I am so cannot wait for SoC Daizyujin! Does this line ever have problems with the articulations or something? I mean it come from the same company who make figuart, and as much as I love the figure, they were very fragile. One false move and snap! I mean, I still can afford to replace the figure, but not this.

I'm literally counting the days until this comes out in Japan. But, wow, that chromed chest just doesn't do it for me.

I own 3 SoC, leopardon, gaogaigar and daltanious, they only issue specially with gaogaigar with is locking the pieces together, sometimes you don't know if there locking is a little louse so you force the pieces together to secure it in place without braking it, but the good thing is the pieces are good quality so the chances of breaking it are low, well at least for me, I never had a problem with my Soc breaking.

it going to be very interesting to see Soc Daizyujin not have head articulation doing some poses.

The head can turn left and right, so there's that. Not a huge range of motion like on the Super Robot Chogokin version, but it's something at least.

I seem to remember that Amiami.com does payment requests a couple of days before release. Watching that inbox like a hawk! Any day no SOC Daizyujin will be shipping out.

I am still awaiting my payment request as well.
The suspense is really doing numbers on my paranoia.

The manufacturer's website was updated as recently as last week to say that it goes on sale the 29th. So I'm optimistic, but there's still time for it to be delayed.

I hope the Golden Week Holiday doesn't delay shipping too much. Can't wait for this to be delivered. I haven't felt this way since the original Megazord.

Another update shows how the Zords combine. Interestingly, Tyrannosaurus has hidden Zordbuilder-like attachments for the knees. Though I doubt there'll be any cross-compatibility

I need this damn thing the more I see it.

It is the first time we saw these. to connect here of course.

But it is interesting, both the SOC and Legacy use hexagonal male port.

Edit : Insert image of Legacy Tyrannosaurus knee connections here.

Due to the shape, even if they dont "connect", we will be able to either balance the SOC Zords onto the legacy versions, or the other way round depending on which has the bigger connection. So we could be looking at a means to make a bootleg Dragonzord in fighting mode with the Legacy/SOC components.

My question is why was a foldable peg not a thing for the Legacy release.
Like having these pegs fold in and out as opposed to being a constant eye sore would have been amazing.

Well, I think that's mainly due to it being the cheap 2010 mold that was like $20 or $30.

Like I've said before, and I'll say it again... to call the Legacy Megazord a "LEGACY" item... is not true. It's a diecast, stickered version of the 2010... by the standards of Legacy... it's not.

So that said... since they just reused the 2010 mold... the pegs are still apparent. I think had they of remade the Legacy Megazord by the Legacy standard... they would have retooled quite a few things.

I could see the SOC one having the hexagonal pegs so they can repurpose the legacy Dragonzord for SOC.

I was thinking the same thing, I can't really see how they can improve the L Dragonzord much to make it any better. Just the diecast issues obviously.
