Isn't an upcoming wave supposed to have the Super Broly as a BAF?

They didn't cheap out, now they make more figures per wave.
Oh I see. 6 figures instead of 3. Eh still doesnt excuse the lack of baf though, especially when the price point is the same.

Just checked And i believe so with android 18, gotenks, and kid buu. Any news on when that wave is releasing?

Sadly this series has kind of died for me. Out of the last two series I've only bought 1st Form Frieza. Piccolo not coming with his turban and cape (like his Figure-Rise Standard edition) was a deal breaker for me as was Super Saiyan 4 Goku's giant thigh gap. I've only seen Super Saiyan 3 Goku from the next wave, but I'm not too keen on him, Perfect Cell or Android #17 as I already have the latter two's Figure-Rise Standard editions. The wave with Android #18, Kid Buu and Gotenks is probably a pass from me as well as I have the first two as Figure-Rise Standards as well and plan on getting the Figure-Rise Gotenks when he's released this summer.

Not sure but I think 2019 Broly may just be a bigger figure like Jiren.

We donít know. I would assume so, but the issue with that was they showed 10 figures with it seemingly showing Broly not being a BAF. Making him number 11.

See this post: https://www.RangerBoard.com/showpost...&postcount=490

So assuming the 10 figures shown are normal relases and Broly is the BAF... we are missing 2 figures for wave 12.

Series 9:
- 1st Form Frieza
- Piccolo
- SS4 Goku

Series 10
- Android 17
- SS3 Goku
- Perfect Cell

Series 11:
- Android 18
- SS3 Gotenks
- Kid Buu

Series 12:
- SS2 Gohan
- Broly or unknown
- unknown

Series 11 and 12 could have Broly as a BAF or possibly a normal figure. Whatever the case we either have 1 or 2 unknown releases because 6 are advertised on the back.

And Iím just guessing on which figures are in 11 and 12... those could be mixed up.

No. Thereís always been 6 figures. Three released at one time and 3 a few months later. Series 7 and 8 were the only waves released at the same time.

Series 9 and 10 went back to the normal 3:3.

Why no BAF? Who knows. Although a BAF with SS3 Goku would have been a bitch lol.

Bandai actually made a blog post a little while back, about their decision to get rid of the bafs. So here it is, straight from the horse's mouth.

http://www.bandai.com/dragonstars/bl...y-new-products

Also, considering them saying they're not doing bafs anymore, I think Broly's just a big figure, andd not some kind of secret baf.

Broly seems a bit...big, to stick into that packaging.

Of course, the Z Broly BAF was really tiny so...

Man, i didnt realize they actually confirmed it. I dont understand though why people are saying that the first three figures and the second 3 figures came out together. There was a full month between releases. If they come "together" they are in the same case. Even the same release date would be accurate. It might be semantics to some i know. 6 figures at once is expensive but they are saying one thing and doing another. And they way they said releasing figures faster does that mean another month from now 3 more figures will be released? Or will it just be the gap between "series" will be smaller but its still 3 or so months between each "series"? I wish banda had an open channel of communication.

Are you talking about series 7 and 8? Cause those did release all at the same time... all 6... cause I bought all 6 the day they came in. GameStop showed they had 3, but others were saying they found the other 3. When I went to check, my store had all 6 and I walked out with all of them.

Thatís the one and only time thatís happened.

And if Iím missing something or taking what youíre saying differently, I apologize.

I dont know what 7 and 8 are but the bandai blog said they would be releasing the sets complete. At least that is the way i read it. They will be releasing figures more quickly, but is that every other wave? Since they are still planning to do "series"? Or was it a series was the 6 figures to make a baf, and will now will just be the 3 figures released together? I guess i just dont know the "terms" for this line, and thats my fault. I dont even really care if its a wave or series as long as i know whats coming and when.

So this image was posted on FB by the Bandai page

Seems Gogeta Blue is going to be in the wave w/ SSJ2 Gohan. Must say he does look pretty good aswell as Gotenks, hopefully he has a better neck then SSJ3 Goku

honestly he looks a little lanky to me but ill wait to see it in person. they always look better irl over their promo pics. i also find it interesting they showed off a mix of waves instead of a solid one. since they did that it makes me wonder if gotenks and vegito wont actually be seperate waves as well. not a big deal, just wish the line had transparency, but thats not bandais mo.

That Gogeta does look lanky, but he kinda was with the animation too.

What bugs me is how theyíve shadowed the muscles and used matte colors all over. If he comes that way, then thatíll continue the inconsistency of the line. The other SSB have gloss hair.

I always tend to wait for the final figure in stores since they almost always look different than the promo photos.

So what about the wave with android 18 and kid buu?

And gogeta looks too skinny and out of place with the other figures.

Thats what makes me think gotenks and gogeta are in seperate waves. Gotenks was shown with kid boo and 18 so thats probably the next wave.

I've been tempted by the SS4 Goku and that SSB Gogeta looks good but I'm not a huge fan of the articulation on them. I have the UI Goku and for the most part he's not bad but the articulation below the waist is a bit disappointing and same with the lack of any ab movement.

Yeah I do believe Gogeta to be in a different wave to Gotenks since it was said that him and 18 an kid buu would be together in a wave.

The metallic hair was one of my favorite things about these figures....hopefully this is just a production sample or something.
