They did as best as they could disguising the pin joint on the torso but it's still super glaring to me. Great-looking figure, but I won't be picking it up 'til I see it discounted or I can get it secondhand.

Got BB Optimus. He was supposed to be out on the 12th... never put out. Asked one of the employees thatís always been helpful... (and said heíd be out on the 12th)... he said they had 4.

No, they had 3 of the 32 Optimus and ONE 38 Optimus. Needless to say, I finally got him after months of searching.

Donít know why my Target had him dated. Hands down the best Optimus ever.

I will always appreciate the Bumblebee movie for showing that G1 inspired designs work on screen and as toys perfectly.

My only problem with this Optimus is his tummy, I wish he had a grill covering it. But apart from that, he looks so good. They really brought their A Game to the design.

Been following slightly recent news about the upcoming release of a Generations Select toy for Siege, Red Wing, a redeco of Starscream and a character that, if you're like me, you no doubt heard about from reading the famous magazine "Who the hell is Red Wing monthly".

https://news.tfw2005.com/2019/06/01/...-images-389157

Actually TBH, I would want to get this. Reason I skipped out on Siege Starscream and will skip out on Thundercracker and Skywarp is because those three, moreso than other Seekers, have earth jets as key to their character and identity for me. It's just hard to imagine the classic trio as other alt modes, even if they're Cybertronian jets.

Red Wing, practically having next-to-no characterization because of his accidental creation, is a blank slate, so I wouldn't mind having this for the Cyberjet alt mode. Heck I think the Cyberjet alt mode actually looks appealing in Red Wing's color scheme. If nothing else, Red Wing can be seen as being a Shattered Glass Starscream or Armada Starscream.

I honestly really dig that color-scheme. I might get it and treat it as some sort of non-canon G1/Armada hybrid Starscream.

I'm rubbing as much of that terribly-done battle damage off as I can, though. I really wish they'd stop doing that.

a lot of people hate the damaged-deco...does it come off easily or does it damage the plastic/paint underneath?

I would love to see more seekers (especially the more colorful rainmakers and pretty much any other color scheme they come up with)...

what I'm really excited for is the possible (SDCC?) deluxe release of Reflector

https://news.tfw2005.com/2019/05/31/...a-parts-389058

for me, Reflector doesn't get enough love...he had maybe one standout moment in the G1 miniseries and was mostly relegated to filling out the background troops after that...

didn't even get a retail release, either...had to mail-away for him...and he's barely gotten any other re-imaginations in later series...

the Siege toy looks really fun, and the combining gimmick puts it over the top...the 'ship' mode honestly looks more lilke a targetmaster weapon than something that flies, but its the camera everyone is going to go ape over...

I remember way before I got into TF and only had basic knowledge of stuff like the names of the various series, I knew at least of the Japanese series. Still though it's cool took at this with a bigger knowledge of how the franchise works and how they altered things, did their own thing, and made an influence on western works such as insane zealot Star Saber and sadistic Overlord.

Say Are Fire Convoy and his forces actually Maxmals using Autobot Symbol as cover in the "g1" era since the Transformers from Car Robot are from the era After Beast Era?

I've never owned any of the Siege stuff so I can't say, but you could either try plain rubbing alcohol to see if that gets any of it off. Otherwise, probably some (very thinned down) acetone on bare plastic should get the battle damage off without much damage. On surfaces with deco paint underneath, though? I wouldn't risk it.

reminds me that this year, 2019, in fact, a few days from now, will mark the 25th anniversary of when Chris Latta passed away, the original G1 voice of Starscream.

Outside of Transformers, his equally next most famous role is without question, Cobra Commander. We lost him too soon, he was in his 40's when he passed away, he basically passed away before he got the chance to witness and experience the impact of his own legacy, to see the full impact of the fandom.

should have posted this earlier, hours ago, but June 12th, marks the anniversary of when Chris Latta passed away, 25 years he has been gone, we lost him too soon, his legacy will outlive us all.

So I read the Last Chapters of the Legend Comic and I have to say it really a great swan song for the G1 Era especially seeing all the last Six Autobot Leaders (Das atlas use to be a Deception wow) team up to fight the Vok. I never Thought star nova is actually the Vok as well created Violen Jiger nice Retcon Takara Tomy and Dai Atlas Destroying Star Giant is a nice touch since he's the last Autobot Leader of the G1 Era.

Never watched that series of Beast Wars, but can't deny like the others, the figure looks good. Plus I'm a sucker for any big cats so I'm sold with a lion easily. Not that I'll be getting it, just saying it looks nice and no doubt will make fans who do want it really happy.

I know the eyes in lion mode are anime accurate, but Iíd kind of prefer if they were one solid color. Maybe Iíll pick up the third party version of this thatís already out if the MP version is too pricey.
