THIS was the game we've been waiting all series for, battling back and forth all night. Unfortunately, people will always wonder how different things might have been had injuries not ravaged the Warriors.

Congratulations to the Toronto Raptors, the first sports franchise I was present for when they were created winning a championship. And it wasn't just Kawhi Leonard, this was absolutely a team win every single game. Not sure I'd have voted him Finals MVP, but I guess he was the most consistent of anybody against Golden State.

Congrats to the Raptors on their first NBA title. I know there will be some people who try to downplay this win by saying the Warriors were heavily injured with missing KD, Klay and others, but if you want to win the championship then you find a way despite those injuries. The Warriors a few years ago were on the other side of that coin when the Cavs were missing a ton of players, it's just how it goes.

Congrats to the Raptors on winning their first championship! The last game in Oracle and the Warriors couldnít close out unfortunately. It really sucks that injuries really plagued them in these playoffs and this game with Klay getting hurt in a crucial moment. Props for them to still put a fight. Congrats to Kawhi on winning MVP which was well deserved. He was a man amongst boys in these finals and was the most consistent guy for the Raptors throughout these playoffs.

Canada now has more NBA titles than they do Stanley Cups over the past 25+ years. Let that sink in.

Warriors can not get a break with bad injuries now. Was just reported that Klay has suffered an ACL tear.

Damn these dudes just caught a terrible case of bad luck. How do you lose KD and Klay in a three day span. Prayers out to him for a speedy recovery. I know many were tired of seeing the Warriors winning but for it to end like this is awful, injuries suck.

Congrats on the Raptors for making history. Well deserved Title win for them as they have been playing like a team that deserved to win it all. For 3 road wins in the Finals and having bench players step up when needed, they did it all. I was impressed and was rooting for them all the way. Sucks that Klay had to go down in the 3rd though. He was draining in so many shots it was unreal. They just reported that he tore his ACL which is a bummer. Just when he was entering free agency. Now the Warriors have two massive injured guys to ponder about in the summer. Not good to have. One more thing, Kyle Lowry won a Title before Chris Paul. Serge Ibaka won a Title before Harden and Westbrook. And Jeremy Lin just won a Title too. That is amazing since everyone still has love and respect for Lin. Good stuff!

The Raptors beat down the Warriors so bad, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson decided they wanted to skip a season to recover 😂

Aside from memories of Joe Carter (considering where I am from), I'm happy for the Raptors. It's great to see another American game have it's title go up North.

I hope Leonard stays with the Raptors. That team has the potential to win more championships.

But that's the key, that TEAM.

Leonard's not the only name in question for next year, and he is far from the only reason they won it all.

He's clearly a big part of why they won though, they couldn't get it done with DeMar and that's why the trade happened. That team doesn't win without Leonard, period.

Wow, they actually ditched Ingram. I guess his health became a factor.

But we kept Kuzma, which was the assumption. w00t

I wonder what Lavar Ball is thinking considering he said the only way the Lakers could compete is if his son was on the team lmao.

Iím surprised the Pelicans didnít get Kuzma, he seemed to be the best piece to acquire from the Lakers. Great the Lakers kept him nonetheless.

All of the local word had it the Lakers agreed with you, thus making him a non-negotiable.

After all, he was our mascot for the draft lottery this year! XD

Lakers fans can't get too excited for getting Unibrow yet. They gave up a ton of assets for him and holy moly at the first round picks they have to give up too. Now they need to fill their roster with guys like Wesley Matthews, Danny Green and PGs who dont mind being the 4th option on offense or something. Going to be an interesting offseason for sure. This trade helps the Pelicans big time too since Zion should be their new PF. Ball will be the PG, Jrue Holiday is the SG and Ingram the SF. They just need a Center now.

Anybody getting excited were the same people who thought LeBron alone automatically meant a Finals run.

Right now, I'm just hoping whoever is on the team next season stays healthy enough to make it remotely possible.
