The Pro Wrestling Thread: Smackdown Receives Massive Push, Airing On Fox October 2019

You know the drill. Do 500 push ups, 500 squats, 500 jumping jacks, and then pay me $500 and I'll call you a wrestler in six to eight weeks... No wait sorry, that was one of the Hart cousin pitches for a wrestling school.

This is the Professional Wrestling thread, where we come to talk about (mostly) WWE, Ring Of Honor, NJPW, various independents, British Wrestling, old, modern, future, Kinnikuman (okay maybe not), and whatever else may come to mind.

Before we get to talking about Chris Jericho vs Kenny Omega over in Japan, Survivor Series, where Jhindi is heading, problems behind the scenes in WWE, whether Impact Wrestling still exists or is just an elaborate Andy Kaufman-esque joke at this point, Revolution Pro Wrestling, or whatever may be going on; Take the time to writtness something from the past.

Stan Hansen and The Big Boss Man vs Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa.
See Boss Man pull off some moves he never got do/had to do in WWF. 1m43s for a particular moment.

It's new thread time again already?

It's like a Hurricane came through!

It was that and leaving the old thread as Sugar Shane, and we all know who is down for the 3 Count.

Bit of the previous thread.
Austin Aries reveals he did not request his release from WWE, but was instead let go because creative had nothing for him
I could only assume that they released him because they knew he has value elsewhere.

Cameron Samurai November 9th, 2017 01:49 AM

So the reason Sami and Kevin were sent home was because they decided to duck a beat-down by The New Day at the conclusion of the match against Kofi and Sami

As long as he once again refers to himself as "The Champ that runs the camp."

Misfits923 November 9th, 2017 07:01 AM

So, I'm pretty sure Jinder will win the belt back before the India tour. I don't know if you guys remember, but the press release for the India tour had Jinder as a 2 time champion.

Mr Tuesday II November 9th, 2017 07:19 AM

AJ made Jinder look like a million dollars in that match. Immagine how he's going to make Brock look.

They'll likely do the rematch on Tuesday. If they do, I see AJ winning again. Jinder's does a run-in at Survivor Series, attacking AJ leading to hyping the rematch for the India tour. Jinder's wins the title in India. And one last rematch for the December PPV.

Isnít it too close to the tour for AJ to get a work Visa in time?

If anything, were Jinder to regain the title before the tour, I think it would be just prior to it, like say, the upcoming Starrcade show, which is both after Survivor Series, and before the tour.

everybody keeps saying this but plans changed only last week, it's entirely possible that he won't get it back

Additionally, this is WWE we're talking about, they never plan things that far in advance anyway, even more so releasing that information to their advertising department.

So they're just Harper and Rowan again---more importantly, are they still connected to the Wyatt Family?
