Power Rangers returns to McDonalds this month!
Hey everyone--
Just giving a heads-up here that apparently, Mcdonald's next Happy Meal after "Chicken Little" will be "Power Rangers Mystic Force and W.I.T.C.H."...
My one friend is a manager at my local Mckyd's, and he got his updated calendar for this month, which has this new Happy Meal promotion starting on Wednesday November 23rd and running through Monday, December 19th.
Not sure if these will end up being any better than the Dino Thunder ones (I personally thought those sucked, compared to the Lightspeed Rescue ones)... but I guess we will se the first promo posters for Mystic Force in a couple weeks!

Maybe we'll find out some confirmed names but depends what kinda MD toys are released. Maybe they will have their own seperate zord or something, like in DT.

It doesn't premiere until February, but it's promoting it to peak interest in it before it premieres. Don't you remember the DT promotion a couple years back? If I'm not mistaken, it was done in December of 03. DT premiered in February of 04. It's all a money thing. I mean, I'm expecting Bandai Mystic Force toys to hitting shelves in a month or so.

i didn't know that there were DT toys for MCD's before it premiered. of course i had also planned not to watch it until i found out that jason frank was going to be in it, which i dont think was announced until very shortly before it began to air.
speaking of mystic force adverstising, i think someone mentioned a couple of months ago that they saw an MF umbrella in stores already. and i think ive seen some tshirts too.

The Sunday after the Ninja Storm finale ended in November 2003 isn't exactly "very shortly" before the DT premiere.
From like April 2003 to that day was one of the best publicity stunts in PR history. Ah sweet Jason Frank's going to be in DT, oh no he isn't Sloan was just considering it and the marketing department just went trigger happy, but maybe he could be, no he's too busy with his dojo, naw he's actually considering it, no the Edward Payne character has already been casted so no Tommy this year, OH SHIT TOMMY'S ON TV IN A LAB COAT TALKING ABOUT THE DT ZORDS.

my bad... but i didnt watch ninja storm or any of the others that came after "in space" so i actually had no idea about any of it until shortly before DT premiered and they had that promo where they had JDF on a commercial and he was all like, "my name is tommy oliver. see what connection i have to the new team..." or something of the like.
