OT: Gundam Seeed Kira Yamato vs Athrun Zala Round 2
If Kira and Athrun were to battle each other again being that nobody one that battle the first time. Due to Athrun self destrctuing the strike but Kira was still alive after the explosion. Now if they were face eatch other again sience Kira has the Gundam Freedom and Athrun has the Gundam Justice. Who do you think would win that battle.
I love Gundam Seed. Can't wait to watch Destiny. Trying to stay away from the spoilers.
I have to say Kira would win. Kira took on Athrun, Dearka, Ezak and the guy that plays the piano at the same time on mulitple occasions.
he could hold his own against them because he was defending.(and he had the support of Archangel) if he was on offence it probably be another thing.....

only thing i know is that Impulse is a remake of the Original Gundam and Strike

Guy, seriously, I want to tell you that I love Gundam Seed to death. It is in my top 5, if not 3, Gundam series, maybe beating out the original. I saw the Japanese subbed version a couple of years ago and I am watching the dubbed on CN right now. The story, drama, characters, action and music are all superb. The soundtrack is great. The four different intros they have for the series is just great. I would watch them over and over again. Too bad most people don't take to it well like they did Wing, which I think is an inferior series. Otherwise there would be more demand for the toy and I could buy the ones that are 12" big and not the little tiny kits. I hope Destiny will be just as good if not better. I am gonna go over to the SEED board for a bit. Haven't been there in awhile.
I've seen Seed (fansubbed, no watered-down crap), and am watching Destiny now. I personally feel that Seed > Destiny. Destiny has waaayyy too many flashbacks, too many episodes without mecha action, and a plot that has not proceeded anywhere, even compared to Seed at this number of episodes. Destiny has set up a plot, but gone almost nowhere with it. I think Seed had a much better pace when it came to plot progression. Also since all of the pilots in Destiny are already pros, they are pawning hundreds of grunts left and right in underwhelming battles. Not to mention that although Shinn is supposedly the main character (with a sister complex), he is pretty one-dimensional (obsessed with his family's death way back during Seed), and the show instead chooses to focus on Athrun. The stolen enemy Gundams so far have shown up rather few times, and don't seem to pose much of a menace at all despite their capabilities, unlike Duel, Blitz, Buster, and Aegis.
