"Isn't It Lava-ly" Not to Air 1/3/05

ABC Family has made the following changes to the schedule due to the recent tsunamis. Not the first time ABC Family has changed schedules after a major news event. They pulled "Journey's End" immediately after the Columbia disaster, but re-aired it about a month later. "Ocean Alert" was never listed as an episode for the January ABC Family schedule, so that is unaffected.

Ah, the final act of Digimon 02! One of the better parts of that series...not that I didn't like all of it, mind.

I knew I should have recorded it when I had the chance, but I kept missing it and saying to myself "I'll tape it later". Although I didn't realize Digimon had so many water disaster episodes...

Why are they changing it around because of the tsunamis in Asia?

Why else would they remove a bunch of episodes that feature water disasters?

In the UK, they haven't made any alterations of schedules. PRDT repeated "Isn't it Lavaly" today. But then again, FKUK didn't do any alterations is the wake of 9/11.
Does anyone think Category Six will be postponed on Sunday, on Sky 1?

This is like when they digitally edited out the World Trade Center from all upcoming new release movies and video games after 9/11. They thought it would be "insensitive" to show the towers.

Which is stupid really. Who cares about offending people? The media does it all the time anyway.

Anyone who would be offended by a Power Rangers episode is oversensitive anyway.

Well if anyone wants to see the episode so bad dl it from Virge or Will Power. You can also find screen caps of the episode at Will Power's Site, Naks, my site, and many other places.

Well, I have it on tape anyway. But the principal of the matter isn't whether we can see the episode, but their reasons for not airing it are stupid.

This however isn't that big of a deal, but it had happened during the new episode run, it may have caused some problems. For instance, "Snip It, Snip It Good". How dumb was it that we had to wait; was it four months to see the episode after it should have aired?
