Dino Stegazord Info

I did some emailing, and I don't know if anybody else has this info...I did some searching and didn't see a topic about it in the forums. So I'll apologize if this is rehash.

I got an email reply from Bandai claiming that Dino Stegazord has been released. And that if I call my local stores with the product number they'll confirm stock or not.

So the P/N is: #10783

But it's the usual Bandai..."Yeah we released it." when they haven't.

I suppose it's possible that the stores just want to clear out their Thundersaurus and Blizzard Force Megazords first. Then again, with Bandai, who knows?

Yeah. These are the guys that STILL try and tell me that they released a Deluxe Digivolving Susanoomon.

In your email, did you include the word "Deluxe"? If not, then they probably got all technical and say, "ya we released it" and then they mean the figure. thats just bandai. and thats why i h8 BA. at least theyre releasing this stuff... even if u gotta be right next to the right place to get it....

Like hell they did. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of it much less in a store. It would have been really cool to get it.

The problem with the Dx Dino Stegazord's number (10783) is that is under by the Asst. number which is 10780. Yesternight at my local TRU they were stocking new items from BA, sadly the DS wasn't there and the employee who helped went to check in the TRU database and found nothing with the number of the DS, bc it won't never appear as released, you guys have to watch out for the shippings with the number 10780 it may be in the boxes that BA sends to the stores containing 3 megazords per box.

Bandai really hasn't lied about this type of stuff before. Most of delay is a result of the retailers, IMO.

Well, BanDai has probably released it, and it's just sitting in the back of the stores, because the Wal*Mart in my area puts out all the new stuff in September. But sometimes a stocker will slip up and put out the wrong things.

Basically, the next store to order a box of ASST 10780 will get a box of 3 Dino Stegazords. Though, most stores don't really need anymore merchandise at the moment, as they have nowhere to put it.

yeah... well, i guess the best thing to do is just wait till we get em. i mean, you could try and find some way into getting a employee to let you in the back of the store is you think it might be there...

Actually, that's exactly what it means.

Though, I'm not saying you guys should. I'm just saying stores aren't gonna stock new stuff when the old stuff from the same assortment is (a) not selling and (b) taking up all the room.

They had a picture of it on their site for a little while during season 4. I'm pretty sure it was to be an 8" figure, much like Warp-Digivolving Omnimon. It included 2 figures (EmporerGreymon and MagnaGarurumon) and they made up Susanoomon. But, alas, they cancelled it. Shame too. It would've been awesome.

I doubt it would have been a real good figure anyway. KaiserGreymon and Magnagarurumon and Susanoomon are three completely different looking characters. It would have been difficult to do something like that.

Not necesarily. If they get enough people asking about an item, they'll put a few out to test the market.

It's kinda like Omega Supreme or Unicron from the TF line. When they first hit stores they were tough to find, and then they started showing up like crazy.

They'll put Dino Stegazord out maybe as it gets closer to Thanksgiving, regardless of how the others are doing. Because something NEW will always get put out on the shelf. They can always sell the older stuff later on for Clearance or sale prices.
