Don't bet on it. A proton pack costs ALOT more to fabricate. Beyond what Mattel normally does. The one Pro-repro prop organization to lisence them gave up.

If availability is high as well, I feel bad for those building prop PKE Meter shells like Buzz. Maybe I'll just gut this one's electronics and stick it into my Buzz PKE Meter shell.

I gotta be honest. I dount feel very bad for them, as much better as their work is, for losing profits to an ofifcialy licensed product.

They gave up because no one was willing to pay $3K for an item that's going to be shelved 11 1/2 months out of the year.
I mean those guys were using actual metal and a few moving parts.
Sturdy Plastic mass produced with some LED's and a couple of switches and springs is considerably cheaper.

And, Ironically, closer in some ways to the original props. I still don't think it will happen, but I admit liking the idea.

There is a video out on youtube where some local GB's cornerd the guy who is makeing the thing. He kept hinting that it was going to be a very limited run. He never came out and said it but every time they talked about availability and people buying more then one he kept griting his teeth and getting really shifty. Me I'm going to be on that site the second they go on sale. It's going to be an instant sell out no matter how many they make that I would put money on. I love it during one of the "Ask Matty" q&a sesions a few moneths back I asked them about props, seeing as how Dimond is making a killing off of Star Trek props. The answer was "Stay Tuned". I hope I can get one. With everyone I know of talking about getting 3 or more and with Matty's website trouble I fear my GB Equipment may have a hole in it for a while longer.
