Chrome Morpher Plates Anyone???

Ok, so I got in touch with someone who can do chromo paint for our morpher plates. To go with our new metal power coins, she said it's possible, but costly. I asked her how much and she said the paint and materials would cost AROUND $400, but would become much much cheaper if more people went in on it. 1 person = $400, 4 people = $100, 8 people = $25 and so on. So if we can get 8 people or more, this process would become pretty cheap. I honestly don't mind paying $50 to chrome my silver and gold morphers.

Reply to the thread if you're interested and I'll get the ball rolling.

The person who would be doing this, is Jessica from Powerprops. I just decided to be the ring leader so I can tell her how many are interested in doing this.

U mean like the plates are gonna me metal chrome? Like the rims on a car?

Yes, exactly. She can do silver chrome, or gold chrome, or both. Depending on which you want. I'm getting both, but it's really expensive by myself. The more people who want to do this, the cheaper it gets.

i would be interested in this because i have a set of the gold coins now but i have a broken morpher. the little red piece that locks the morpher closed is broken. now i contacted jess (powerprops) about getting a replacement since i heard that she recasted an entire morpher. she told me she could send me the part and when i asked her the price she said dont worry its just a little piece of plastic she would send it out to me for free. The thing is i never got the part which really sucks. If jess would be able to help me fix my morpher i would definitely jump on getting my plates chromed. i tried contacting her since and havent gotten a response. i know she is a busy person and i am in no way trying to bash her. im just saying i dont wanna throw my money away towards a morpher that doesnt stay closed. i have no problem paying for the part either, what im asking is since you have contact with her if maybe you could ask if she can get that replacement piece for me and what the cost of it would be. like i said i have no problem paying for this and i also wouldnt mind seeing some nice chrome plates to go with the sexy coins.

Well you could send her a message via eBay. If you want those chrome plates, just tell her that you'll throw in an extra few bucks for the piece when you buy the plates.

EDIT# She said she has never done this procedure before since the materials cost so much. But she has a reputation of one of the top customizers, I don't doubt her skill. But yes, I would image they look like those. I just want 2 shiny morphers to go with my shiny new power coins. I'm LOVING this Dragon Coin. It's my first one!

are they going to be plastic plates painted in a chorme finish? cause i think some people there there gonna be real metal.

I'm not keen on buying from individuals here, but if she put them up on ebay, I'd buy 6 sets in chrome, assuming they look good.

Yes, I said 6. Might have a hard time getting funds for them all at once, but I'd love to own a total of 6 for each of the sets of movie stickers I already have. And this would save me the trouble of trying to find a spraypaint which can MAYBE come close to chrome and just getting it done straight from the source, the one I'd be buying the extra plates from anyway.

edit: Would definitely want to see a photo or two before committing to buying 6 like this. Assuming they look good, I'll definitely be down for 6 though, and maybe a seventh in gold-colored chrome.

exactly, idk what a chrome morpher would do for me.......which is why I would love to see images but that pretty much wont happen

now just to clarify, we would be sending her our own plates and then she would pain them rite? not her sending us new plates in general. because I am considering getting atleast one of each color as well since I now have 3 morphers...but I am unsure yet since I still wish there was some sort of example photo

How much would it suck if everyone sent her like thirty Power Morphers and she just kept them all? I'm only joking of course.

You said 1 person = $400. And 8 people = $25 each. 8 x 25 is only 200. Where did the other $200 go?
