Finally! This show needs a break, it hasn't had a good season since SPD. Hopefully RPM will be good, I'll give it a shot, but really the stuff they're producing these days is crap compared to MMPR, Zeo, In Space, etc. anyway so to me true Power Rangers has already been over for a while.
So... who thinks they're still going to do the animated series?

I'm not suprised by the news at all as Power Rangers has been shit ever since Bruce Kalish took charge.
The last great series for me was Dino Thunder.
I won't miss it anyway as i have every single episode on my computer and can watch them anytime i want.
And most of us still have Sentai and Kamen Rider.

All I can tell from this article is that they aren't shooting in NZ anymore. I doubt this is a sign that the series itself is going to be gone, but a sign that they don't have the funds to keep going to and fro for the filming. Disney will probably just find another place to shoot the series. Stop worrying.

As much as I dislike what disney has done to PR (and I agree with you 100%), I don't think thats going to stop them from canceling PR.

Just because a show has been on TV for many years doesn't mean it should never get cancelled. That's just... bad reasoning.
And people who are still clinging on to the last string of hope by saying that it just means they're not filming in NZ anymore need to face it:
bad economy + lower ratings = cancellation
Its really not surprising.

Okay, where's an even cheaper place to film than New Zealand which has English speaking actors and could double for parts of America? And why did Campbell say they're not filming another season with no "in New Zealand" qualifier?

They're not reporting it, the newspaper came to them - and it did that while an American one didn't because Power Rangers ending its more newsworthy to the New Zealanders, because that affects local jobs.

you know what, thats true thanks for bringing that up!!!!!BUT................. i saw a artclie in the daliy news the title said lights out for power rangers but they said that disney said theirs no offical word so don't worry ,all fans don't worry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's been coming for a long while ever since saban sold the rights to disney. it's solid evidence that a company that owned the rights to the show can't be bothered due to the falling ecomomy climate and the fact theres alot of other shows kids will watch that are newer and more enertaining.
give it a few years and some american company will more than likely see the latest sentai of that year and want to bring it back to the us screens.
if this is the last season, oh well i know for a fact a group of fathful fans are working on a season. heck we can do anything now and Disney can't do squatt. why bother owning the rights to a season when your not producing anything?
Bring on the fan films!!
