It had a good run. And really wasn't the same as it was at its height. I remember the good old days. Coming home to watch Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing ect... And before that reruns of Voltron and Thundercats. CN really gave Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball a home, after both initially failed in Syndication. Toonami really changed the face of anime in the US. And really introduced a lot of kids and teens to the genre.
I knew it wasn't going to be long when they changed Tom's design. I don't know who the idiot was that thought a design change would be beneficial to Toonami but it obviously didn't help it.
Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z........you watched the eps that most of the other channels didn't show. They were willing to pick these two up and finish them (well, maybe not Sailor Moon....any Sailor Moon fan KNOWS that no one would pick up SailorStars because of the Sailorstarlights and the last episode). New Adventures of Johnny Quest was cool and I was ecstatic when I heard they were going to show Naruto.
It's going to be sad not having it but I think it's beating a dead horse now. Audios, Toonami. You had a really good run.

I think Cartoon Network will still show Naruto and when it gets there I have no doubts they will show Shippuuden. It just won't be called Toonami anymore.
They probably will continue Naruto since it's CN's cash cow. I kinda saw this coming when CN took off Funimation's dub of One Piece, and the current run of DBZ: Cell Games off back in March.
Man, this completely sucks. I would have never become an otaku if it weren't for Toonami. Although, Toonami hasn't been the same when it moved to its Saturday position. DragonBall Z, Sailor Moon, G Gundam, YuYu Hakusho, I.G.P.X., DragonBall, Big-O, Transformers: Armada, all of those shows I liked came from Toonami. (Well, YuYu Hakusho was edited and brought down from Adult Swim but still.) I feel that with Adult Swim now only showing anime on Saturdays, and Toonami being cancelled, I think Cartoon Network is really screwing with us anime fans.
Well, Goodbye TOM, Goodbye Absolution, and Fuck You Cartoon Network!
Farewell Toonami. Definitely the most awesome block I saw in the past. Kinda figured it was slowly dieing anyways when they stopped airing new animes(besides naruto).
From what I heard they surrpose something speical tonight at 10:30 pm est, 9:30 pm central time slot tonight on Toonami. My guess it might be a farewell thing for something.
man, toonami wasup there with kidswb and fox kids, and they are gone now. I still remember the last day toonami aired on the weekdays. Now it doesn't seem as big as it used to be. Still a shame to see it go.
