You're not. I love that game. It also angered me to my core because I could never get past the second level.

There's a second level? I just sort of assumed you were never supposed to beat the first one.

Right? That game was not meant to be played by children. I doubt I could play it now and progress any further.

The Sega Genesis movie game was the best Power Ranger game for me.

I think everyone's got an idea of how a large budget PR game would be, as fantastically impossible as it is.

I loved the idea of a fighting game where all rangers are on screen at once and you're able to hot-swap between them depending on the situation. Special moves and weapons would be on a charge-meter. Take too much damage and you'd de-morph, having to fight in your civilian form for a specific length of time, meaning players would have to protect any civilian rangers until they're morphed again.

Like I said, I've come to peace with the fact we'll never get an AAA Power Rangers game, but it's a nice dream.

Either that or a Beat em up/fighting game.

To be fair I think that has more to do with it coming out on an obscure console than being a bad game.

Like if it came out on one of the Sega or Nintendo consoles I would have played it.

I played the hell out of it back in the day. I completed it sooooo many times and sunk who-knows how many hours into it. I really enjoyed it.

It was on PC - Windows 95.

The worst part is when somebody FINALLY decides to produce such a simple concept, they'll inevitably leave out like Green Lightspeed and of course 90% of all Pink Rangers and then somehow have Auric in it.

Isn't it crazy to think people didn't all have computers back then?

Especially since I had a computer back then.

The installation CD has saved game files for each level

My point was that Yami said it was on an obscure system: the Apple Bandai Pippin. I was just saying that it was also on PC - much more common than the Pippin.

You could also just type "ZEO" any time during gameplay to warp around levels. Made it much easier

You've got a point.

Then again I didn't have a computer until summer of 97 so I still didn't know about it until I looked it up.

Great. I've mentioned it a couple times on the forum a long time ago, never got this kinda response. It is a great game. The megazord battle is so hard tho, but I eventually got through it. I think the first or second time, we'd had trouble getting it installed. Had gotten it back on finally, and I got through it. Love the command center set up, and I wish they would do a console version. For anyone who hasn't played it, they should get a chance to. Such good memories of that game.

For me, it's a tie between this and the PS1 version of the Lightspeed Rescue videogame.

Ugh, has anyone ever played the final boss in the Dino Thunder console game? The Thundersaurus Megazord controls like a goddamn rowboat, and the harmful pits of lava strewn all over the battlefield are easy to get knocked into.

It took me five hours to 100% that game, and an hour and a half of that was dedicated solely to beating the final boss. I repeat: Ugh.

The controls overall in that game is horrendous. Plus the lack of variety in "villains". The only one you really fight is Zeltrax over and over.

The only PR video games I have fond memories of are the Mighty Morphin game for SNES, the movie game for Sega Genesis, the Lightspeed Rescue game for N64, and the Wild Force game for GBA. Everything else ranged from forgettable to horrible

I personally think Time Force was better than the Lightspeed game. Wild Force was bad, though. I think the Ninja Storm, DinoThunder, and SPD games on GBA were much better.
