Yeah, my dad told me about it. It's a shame I missed it.

But I'm glad I got to see the end of the Dolphins game. Saints remain undefeated!

Even while getting a big victory the Vikings still manage to frustrate me to no ends. They dominated the first half. They had a nice drive to start the second half. Then even closed out the game well. But the majority of the third period and a good chunk of the fourth just had me scratching my head wondering why it looked like the defense was giving up.

This is a quality win in many ways but I'm still waiting to see the Vikes play a full 60 minutes against a good opponent.

Still, all things considered I'm very happy. Half of our season is over thanks to a very late bye week and we're going into it at 7-1 (with the only loss coming against a great team.) It doesn't get much better than that.

Today was interesting. What the hell happened to the Giants? Three direct punches in the mouth within three games? The Ravens are good but I didn't see the Broncos' first loss coming today. The poor Niners almost stopped the Colts. Miami/Jets was phenomenal.

Thank God I have the Sunday ticket because locally my 1 pm game choices were Chicago/Cleveland and Detroit/St. Louis. Ugh.

Why is there no SNF late game today? is it because of the World Series?

I missed 2nd half of Jets/Fins as I turned over to watch the NASCAR, while watching 49ers on a stream. I am glad Vikes are doing so well, but at one point I thought the packers where going to pull it back.

I was happy despite the 49ers loss. We managed to stop them getting any TD's but not much you can do really to stop Field goals going over. Ah well

Yeah I know. I really wanted to see them win, their defense was amazing but their offense acted like it was their first game. Tons of stupid penalties, missing their assignments, dropped balls and bad throws at the end. The Niners should have won, when they weren't fucking up their offense was effective. It should have been a victory. Leaving the game a Colts fan said "Boy those Niners sure know how to suck!" and his buddies laughed, I replied, "they should, they learned from your mom."

Dear god I didn't know I could run that fast!

Not really though they just shouted some mother fuckers and assholes. Joe was pissed though and told me if I ever get him into a fight our friendship is over. That would suck because then I wouldn't have a Skull to go with my Bulk for next Halloween again.

Not a niners fan, but they are going to be the team to beat in the next few season. Mike Singletary has got them on the right track.

For reals, yo. New Orleans is the best team in the league bar none. I can understand that one but it still should have been much closer. Arizona and Philadelphia are good but to get blown out by the latter? G-men should have taken two of three.

Something stinks in New York.

Congrats go out to the Bucs. They stayed in that game the whole way and had just enough big plays to hang in there until they put it all together in the fourth quarter.

Maybe the creamcicle-colored uniforms with the metrosexual pirate are a good luck charm.

...and Rodgers turning the ball over three times doesn't hurt either. >_>

I gotta say, it's nice to have your team gain an extra half game lead in the division during their bye week. Thank you to the Packers for having a Swiss cheese o-line and thank you to the Bears for just eating a stubby veiner against the Cards.

No, something stinks in Landover, Maryland. They should exchange the emblems on their helmets for zombies and call them DeadSkins!

Hopefully the Vikings didn't watch the two losses by GB and Chicago today and think "Well we can coast from here".

They have to come out and dominate Detroit next week. None of this "let down" stuff that I always worry about. But if they can do to Detroit what they did to the Rams, they should be able to start strong out of the gate.

If it helps, the Giants are still probably the best 5-4 team I've ever seen. They haven't exactly lost to four suckass teams. But starting out 5-0 and then losing four straight going into a bye week? That's quite the boot to the nads.

Now you can sit back and see the Eagles and Cowboys kill each other. Maybe hope for a tie?

Have hope, my fellow lover of the Giants! If we can coax Tom Brady to get into that Fairy Godmother costume he's got in a box at the bottom of his closet (you know he hasn't tossed that thing out yet), and if we can get him to tap Eli on the head with the cheesy wand it comes with, maybe little Eli will believe in himself again and everything will be okay!

Just started watching at the end of the 3rd quarter in the Cowboys-Eagles game. Come on Dallas, make it a 6th win!
