How about thee option of putting our location below where our avatar is like on other forums? Would be nice to spot other locals, cause (at least locally to me) I'm fairly certain there are more Albertans our little circle of rangers here haven't found yet.

I'll entertain suggestions from respectable members. Note, respectable members. Ones that are good in my book, and I know won't waste my time when they pitch something.

In fact some of our rules & policy changes were influenced by respectable members giving me their ideas for change.

When we want people's opinions, we'll host a Townhall. There hasn't been one because I'm working on something coming down the pipe, and I'll ask for the public's thoughts when we're good & ready.

I am no longer receiving the notification of the PM popping up when i refresh page. It shows at the top that i have one waiting but i used to get a grey box in the middle of the screen.

Running Firefox as my browser.

Just tested it myself on both my usual Firefox (11.0) and also IE (9.0.8). No go for me either.

I can't leave feedback for a member - it's saying the thread link I paste in is invalid. I've tried it multiple times. The deal initiated from a wants/haves parts thread and I wondered if this was because the person I made the deal with was not the creator of the thread? And if that's the case, then how do I leave feedback without a thread link?

I'm on Firefox as well, and my notification pop-up displayed just fine.

You do know you only get one, right? Once the pop-up tells you to read your new PM, it won't display again, no matter if you refresh or not.

I am aware of that. I don't get ANY notification other than seeing under my username where it tells you that you have them.

well for me, and this happens with all themes a spilt second after the page is done loading it shifts like a half page down for the "rangerboard" top banner, and then a half page further for the whole board

Sounds like an issue with your ISP to the forums.

I have the same issue on a specific set of gateways from my ISP. After I change it to get off those specific gateways, the problems are gone. They're not issues on the server side.

You could try to see if the Google DNS would help:

If your ISP's issue is with their DNS servers.
