I know that the value of the older toys will go up now,ESPECIALLY after seeing those pics. Why? is all i'm asking. these new toys just aren't appealing.
I like the rangers, going to get the new megazord, maybe the weapons. goldar, maybe, the putties, we'll see.
Honestly, the only thing that looks good this time around, are the rangers.
everything else looks awful. IMO

Wow, pictures of the toys? I was not expecting that.
- The Rangers and Goldar are perfect. Green Ranger doesn't look all that different from the SL figure. The Power Weapons look almost identical to the actual props. Goldar looks like he stepped right out of a Zyu publicity still.
- The Putties, however... ew. Just ew.
- I usually don't go for the weird, transforming figures, but that transforming-dragon-armor Green Ranger looks awesome.
- Why does Jason have a Pterodactyl jetpack-armor-thing and why is Tommy riding a Sabertooth Tiger bike-thing?
- The MegaZord with the "bikes" as arms... 'kay. o_O
- Extreme close-up of Kimberly's tits.

We knew we were gonna get Hyper-Super-Battlized-Quadro-Bike-Max-Thunder-Extreme-Dragon figures inflicted on the MMPR line no matter what.
I'm a MMPR purist, so I'm not gonna waste time bitching about all those extra-things (and what the hell is that dragon thing that combines with Tommy? Eek). We do have a right to not like something, and I'm gonna exercise said right by not giving Bandai any of my money for them.
But I like these.

Edit -- hang on a minute, the Megazord's legs there are two of motorcycles. So I guess everything's interchangable. That's a nice idea.

Here is a quick photoshop of the Putty to show how good the figure can look if painted correctly.

Well I wrote Bandai asking these questions..
Are we going to see any of the new line, figures and zords...etc, around December 2009?
Is there really going to be both a Dragon Dagger and Deluxe Dragon Dagger, and if so, can you possibly clarify what some differences between the two are?
They answered...
-Bandai
"I'm hoping that around December the marketing team will release more info about the first series that's coming out. Until then, my hands are tied about what I can post
I can't say much about the Dragon Dagger but I can say this...the prototypes I've seen were really cool "

I think the stuff looks interesting especially the "Figures" (which will be cool to see the "Power Weapon(s)" combined and there is one bright side of the new Megazord being able to use cycles as arms & legs...it allows T-Rex/Pterodactyl to use the Megazord Torso while the Mammoth/Sabertooth Tiger/Triceratops can be used for Dragonzord Fighting Mode (since it is obvious that DZ will be released).
**I think the Dragonzord is the coolest in my view.

From the video shown of the toyline for spring 2010, I must say I am both excited about the 4" rangers, deluxe megazord, goldar and putties. However, I am kind of in a wtf moment with the dragon-like figure, and motorcycle megazord attachements. I also don't know who came up with the concept for those battlelized-looking morphin rangers on the cycles. Then I figure, for all of you who wanted a custom green movie ranger- that green battelized ranger will be a start. The same goes for the other male rangers.
Yes Bandai, we will keep customizing until you get it right!- And even if you do get it right- we'll still keep customizing because you will have probably left something out even at your best attempt!

I don't know what you guys are talking about at the moment, but I just wanted to stop by to comment that the configuration of the DX Megazord where it's combined with those cycle things is just absolutely hideous.

I like how it has the same trim as the Dragonzord's waist and shoulders, just replacing the green backing with red. Why they chose to do this though, I have no idea.
And... yeah, that's pretty much the only thing I like about the car thingy. In fact, that's probably the only thing I liked about the ad itself, other than the show-accurate stickers on the Megazord and the random close-ups of plastic boobs.

i agree, why are they bringing out battlized crap and cycles to begin with? i mean we could have descent roleplaying weapons and morphers but with this crap? i would rather just buy the zords and figures and get the 93 merchandise of morphers and weapons because they dont concentrate on them anyone, they worry more about battlized stuff than anything else. didnt bandai know how devestating their toy sales are because of this? i mean get a freaking clue.
at least boj knows accurately and their toys are flying off of shelves than boa's crap.

Well to be perfectly honest Bandai America was selling more worthless non-show crap back in 1993, than they will in 2010. I mean the gave us the RC Megazord for crying out loud, and others such as Power spin-tops. In comparison to what they pulled off in '93, they are giving us more useful and imaginative suff.
