On a similar note, I also heard that since they're not saving as much money by filming in New Zealand anymore, there's a pretty good chance that they'll be moving to Canada if PR continues. Nothing's set in stone though.

Is that really going to make it more cost effective?

Well, I imagine there are flight and hotel costs. I guess Disney Moved it to NZ to get the footage faster and be more closer to TOEI. or maybe to make it easier to film without all the burocreaucy on the U.S But I doubt either one is gonna make it more cost effective specially after 5 years and 3 years of kalish, which means kalish is gettin a better pay as the seasons pass.

I think it's both...it probably was way cheaper when they first moved there, and it rose every year after, to where Disney found it unfeasible to film there now. Also, perhaps they do think that live action has ran it's course, and want to try a new cheaper/easier medium to present the show in.

It wouldn't be more cost effective. It'd be about the same. But the reason they moved to NZ in the first place was to save money. If they're not going to, they might as well move closer to home.

Not that I would want the whole Prevent Pollution theme.

The names, they hurt my ears >_<
Go-onger is centered around the Rangers preventing the enemy from polluting the Earth. The Enjins come from the Machine World to aid the Rangers in accomplishing their mission. The enemies come from thier own world with the intention of polluting our planet. I'm sure Disney would just LOVE the idea, and likely keep it for the PR adaptation (if we do indeed receive one). Oh, and the theme does include the animal/car thing, but pollution too.

You know Kalish, once you destroy one country with explosions, move on to the next.

Well, hopefully there won't be too much liberal crap in the show. But, then again, PR is mostly a conservative show. So, who knows, and I shoudn't be discussing politics (if this actually counts).

Rangercast listeners, I called this.
Finally we don't have to deal with the damned accent slips. And actors won't end up playing ten different characters in ten different seasons.

Bob and Doug McKenzie would beg to differ.
Does this mean JETIX is moving to SCTV?

We'll still have the same problem with the word "been" we've been having since 2003.
