Greetings and welcome to the sequel to Power Rangers in Space vs. Power Rangers SPD, MMPR vs. DT. As a seuqel to my first project, this story will make much more sense and likely be more enjoyable if you have read the first story. If not, you can find links to all past chapters below:

The concept for this story arose in the middle of my 1st story (around chapter 8 or so). The demand for a sequel was pretty immense and I still had many more ideas and stories to tell so I decided to go along with producing another fic. I hope that it is as enjoyable and memorable as the first story. Whew....well that is a bit of a long story, but it is explained in my first screencap story, PRiS vs. SPD. But I'll give it a try:

Eric is going back into the past to recruit the MMPR for his special ops team that will strike at Tommy on an emotional level. Eric wants to get revenge on Tommy because Tommy slept with Taylor (Eric's girlfriend) while they were together **this is revealed in chapter 7-3**.

Hope that helps, but again, if you are still interested in more of the backstory, certainly check out PRiS vs SPD. There is a link to it in my 1st post. You can probably skip the first 3 chapters and go straight to 4 if you want, lol.

A good start. We're starting to get the ball rolling here for what looks to be a pretty involved encounter. It's even got a pretty hefty supporting cast, what with characters from the frist screencap story bleeding over into this. I guess what we have here isn't just the development of a situation involving the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the DinoThunder Rangers, but the continuence, to some capacity, of the Space Ranger's and Space Patrol Delta Ranger's story as well. I'm looking forward to seeing DinoThunder begin their integration into the storyline, and uncovering what Eric's mission is. Also, I don't know if I'm just being overly suspicious or something, but I've been debating whether Carter's line about leaving to meet with some new recruits is a throw away line or if those new recruits are going to play and important role in this screencap sequel. It seems as though this all might lead to one grand, over-arching storyline that will eventually include everyone. ANyway, definitely interested in seeing the next installment. Hope we won't have to wait too long.

skyandbridge4ever, lol. I'm glad to see that you like the current day profiles alot. I plan to play around with those in terms of mixing their "ranger" history and actual "actor/actress" history together. Except for Trini's death. Thats a bit grim for this fic.

TSoldier as always your posts are thoroughly in depth and fanfic writers dream to see. I truly appreciate the thorough feedback. As you suspected, I am certainly trying to fit the bulk of the PR universe into this story (even PROO when it premieres though so I can have a template to work from in terms of characterization). As for the new recruits Carter mentioned, I meant to allude to Cole and Danny. I'll definitely attempt to make it clearer in subsequent chapters, which hopefully will not take too long to show up. I'll try to being on the next one this week and have it done in two weeks time or sooner.

I'm definitely a big fan of Marvel's Civil Crossover and always wondered how it'd work with a PR twist. Seibukan Ranger- Trent is going to have alot of fun in this fic. I can say right now that he will definitely be choosing a side as the story progresses further.

DemonHunterSieg- Thats not a bad idea, but even in the PR show, Tommy has seen SEVERAL versions of himself (in PRDt's Fighting Spirit, a clone of himself in MMPRS2 I'm sure there are more), so for me to do that would just be me beating a dead horse. As for the TimeShadow, I havent thought about bringin it back as I kinda wanna get away from zord battles as the main one took me a long time to do (the final one for PRiS vs. SPD) to my liking. Hey everyone! Sorry I've been away from the thread for so long! I've been so busy, I couldnt even stop and read through.

Anyways, as some of you know, I just graduated from college and as such, I've been in transition all summer. I've moved off campus and landed a decent job. Unfortunately, because of this "real world" job, most of my free time is pretty much non-existent :( Yes, the "9 to 5" world does suck.

I DO have alot of the story done, but again, I'd never release anything that was half-@$$ed. And since it takes alot of work to put these things together (screencapping wise) you can imagine why there is such a horrendous delay.

Nevertheless, I'm gonna do my best to make time to work on the story again, now that I actually have a real-job. I'll get to updating and posting again soon though.

I for one did not know you just graduated college. Congratualtions, by the way. I'm glad to hear that you we can be expecting more from you on this story some time in the near future, allthough I don't think I've read the last chapter, so it'll be good to have that time to catch up before the next installment comes in. I get kind of irked when a story I'm following piles up on new material before I have time to catch up, which I know is hypocritical, but that doesn't matter. I can have such a short attention span sometimes so that kind of thing makes it difficult for me to follow up on. But I've always really liked your work with the screencap stories so I'm fdefinitely going to make an effort to follow along.

I'm also glad to hear you won't be expediting the release of the next chapter in place of spending quality time to put into it. I always felt like this kind of project had to be time consuming, no if's, and's or but's about it because, while anyone can throw pictures up that depict the Ranger's who are speaking the dialogue being given, it's just a completely more skilled task that you can't rush in order to maintain the kind of quality you have in your stories. It's not about words and pictures with your fics, it's about the right shots, the right expressions, and the right gestures that compliment the dialogue you write. Just thinking back on some of the funnier stuff from your work, like that scene with Z catching her man (can't remember that blonde guys name from iS) cheating with Karone, and the mixture of the right dialogue with the perfect screencap makes me anxious for more. I'm gonna see about catching up on the latest chapter maybe this weekend. Looking forward to more.

Despite the fact that I like this fanfic a lot, I have no hopes of seeing any of it anytime soon. Deka~Crimson has been inactive since November, hasn't post in this thread since July and his last trailer was 10 months ago.

So I gotta say that I'm surprised to see that there was some demand left for this fic, thats good to see. I'm not going to sugar-coat this, I abandoned this story. I kept thinking about it in the back of my mind but the time commitment necessary to do a fic like this well was far too great for me to go to work everyday, and have free time to myself.

Nevertheless, for the few of you who continued to check in and show interest, this is for you. Just before I started working fulltime w/ social security, I got a good chunk of the story completed, it's a little rough (dialogue wise) but it was coming along nicely until it got too difficult to continue. Usually, I'd have to watch a bunch of PR to get the characters right and ofcourse for the screencaps. I dont follow the show as much as I used to, I do watch JF if I can tho, I would've liked to put them in this fic, but I don't see myself finishing this anytime soon.
