I've decided to make the team based on Sport Ranger. Basically everything is changed but I liked the suits and basic "sport" idea.
It starts out 10 years after the "evil" of the Sport Ranger was defeated. They were all given necklaces, similar to Ninja Storm's basic idea, just in case.
Sherman
Age 28
Position: Leader
Ranger: Boxing Red
Basic Story: He was the honest type who liked to have fun as well. The thing is, Robert, Tennis Green, did a lot of the leading just because Sherman didn't really know what to do. He travels with his not-so-little anymore sister, Melanie, because she plays in a professional orchestra. He became the leader he needed to be before the evil was destroyed.
Shawn
Age: 27
Position: 2nd in command
Ranger: Soccer Yellow
Story: He was the wannabe rocker with a soft side for poetry. No one at school really paid attention to him besides Robert. Being a ranger, he'd often jump ahead of the lackluster leader Sherman turned out to be and sometimes got them into deeper trouble but regrets it. He now plays in local bars and pubs with his band from High School. Robert usually got them out of this but they grew to be best friends until...
Robert
Age: 28
Position: Teammate
Ranger: Tennis Green
Story: Robert, or Robbie, was the comedy. He lived it. He wasn't up for any professional careers but he always made them laugh. The thing is, he was also very sarcastic. He usually lead the rangers after the standard Red-In-The-Middle pose for quite some time. He finally made Sherman realize just how important it was for the leader to be the leader when Robert had turned evil from Noe's smog. He was the open book but had his secrets, as Shawn found out. He is now a writer and anything but comedy and friends is on his mind. Shawn and Robert grew to be best friends until...
Rachael
Age: 28
Position: Teammate
Ranger: Swimming Blue
Story: Rachael was the serious but carefree one. Most of the time she had a boyfriend and was usually with him. She cared for her teammates and were best friends with Ashlee and Robert for quite some time, and grew to love her teammates. She had a good common sense structure and knew a lot about politics and religion. She is now with her husband, not the boyfriend from before, and has 2 kids and is expecting a third. This could cause problems.
Ashlee
Age: 28
Position: Teammate
Ranger: Baton Pink
Story: She was the fun loving one of the group. She was peppy and loved to bounce around. She was an inspiring actress and had ties to the industry. She was best friends with Rachael and just loved life. She now is distant from her old friends because of the series of movies called "Aqua Task Force" are her primary goal, hence she launched a successful acting career.
Ben
Age: 42
Position: Mentor
Ranger: Boarding Gray
Story: He mentored the teens on their quest. When the group split, he brought them together again when transforming into Boarding Gray, saving them. He also built the Infinity Robo's by hand. He's pretty much an effin genius. He lived in Board Bay, the "command center", where he remains to this day.
Sandy
Robot. She is the voice of Board Bay and takes the shape of a Teddy Bear on screen (familiar?)
Villians:
Tonks: Foot Soldiers
Shaleptus: Empress of Shares. She lost The Thing while passing through Earth when an escapee tried to steal it from her. She threatens Earth's existance until The Thing can be found. In the climax of the story, she was taken down by Sport Ranger. The Thing was never recovered.
Rankardion: Shaleptus' father. Retired Emperor of Shares. The Sport Ranger had a brief battle with them until he realized it was unfair to take down such inferior beings and left. His daughter is gone and he wants The Thing.
Minor Characters:
Melanie: Sherman's sister
Josh: Rachael's Ex boyfriend
Dill: Ashlee's Ex boyfriend
Kaitlyn: She was up for Swimming Blue but the computer made a mistake. She appeared demanding her position and went head to head with Rachael. After losing she gladly bowed out, but with Rachael pregnant now...
The basic story was a group of teenagers were asked by Ben to use his technologies to transform into Sport Ranger. It was modeled after his dead son's love of sports. They were used to enhance the experience in Sports but were looked at as cheating and not a way to enjoy it more so he stopped trying to sell it.
Later on, when The Thing was lost and all of that started, he decided to pick 5 teenagers who could withstand the power to fight as Sport Ranger.

Sherman
Sherman
“My name is Sherman. When I was younger I didn’t like my name and now it’s a blessing in disguise. I didn’t like a lot of things when I was younger but if I had to pick one it was being a Sport Ranger. That changed my life forever. Okay, I lied. Since then it really hasn’t. It gave me more courage, I guess. I miss being Boxing Red. The poses, the robots, the suits, it was all great. I still can’t believe it’s been 10 years since then. I miss my friends and my duties, though I wasn’t the best at them at first.
‘I am sick and tired of pretending to be Tennis Christmas for God’s sake, Sherman! I am Tennis Green, position three. You are the one who was supposed to lead us so start acting like it! Shawn could have died and I could never forgive you if that happened.’
Not one of my better memories, but you get the point. I pretty much sucked at being leader. Roberto should have been leader, not me. But I digress. He taught me so much, and I learned a lot in those two years, especially about myself. Sometimes I wish I could go back and be a ranger one more time. Just to feel the rush, again. Nowadays I travel with my little sister, Melanie. She isn’t so little anymore. She plays the harp with an orchestra, she’s a talent. I am so happy I am home. I missed it.
I went to Board Bay last night. It was locked up. I really have no way of contacting Ben. I really wanted to see the old place, again.” A knock was heard on Sherman’s hotel room door. Sherman walked over and opened it.
“Sorry, Shim. I forgot my key, again!” said Melanie. She skipped on in and Sherman smirked. He locked the door behind him and sat back on his bed and continued to write. “Did you go to that place? Was it still there?”
Sherman looked up and shrugged. “Still there as in the building? Yes. Still there as ‘relive my teenage years’? No.” Melanie pouted and fell on her bed, falling asleep almost instantly. Sherman shook his head and continued to write again:
“I fell kind of ashamed, actually. Ben gave the 5 of us dairies to write in every time we thought of being Sport Ranger and to give it to him when it was full. Let’s just say I haven’t been keeping up with that considering I am on page 4 of 100. Sorry, Benny. I tried giving Rachael a call because I believed she still lived in town but unfortunately her phone was disconnected. I won’t worry, people move on. Most of us did. Damn, that reminded me of Roberto, again. I still have nightmares of Noe. Fuckin’ scared me to death. I never admitted it to any of them, but it did.
I am afraid, actually. Afraid Noe wasn’t completely destroyed. I have dreams of it infecting all of us and we destroy each other. I wake up in a cold sweat, crying. I wish I could talk to Melanie about it but even if she knew I was a ranger Ben said no details. She understands, and I do too. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just hard to live knowing you are afraid of something that should be gone. Writer’s block, bed time.”
Sherman closed the diary up and slid it in his duffle bag at the foot of his bed. He shut out the light and dosed off into a deep sleep. Later that night Sherman started to dream. He heard Board Bay’s alarm system go off and he arose to the sight of his old room. He leaped out of bed and looked around. He saw a mirror to reveal his familiar shaggy hair he once had. Confused, he ran out and looked around. He saw no one. “Ben? Rachael? Sandy?” No response. He started to get dizzy. He leaned up against the wall and started to breathe heavily. The cold, iron walls gave him a chill.
In the distance he saw a shadow. It started to creep towards him. His eyes widened and he started to run in the opposite direction. He tripped and sprained his ankle. He tried to get up but lied motionless. The shadow hovered above him and took shape. “Hello, Sherman. Miss me?!” Sherman gasped.
“No!” Sherman screamed. “You aren’t here!”
“But, I am” Noe explained. “And more powerful than you could possible imagine!” Noe swooped down and entered Sherman’s body. He screamed in a panic.
“NOOO!” Sherman jumped out of his bed and looked around. Melanie was still asleep. He still heard the beeping from Board Bay blinking in his head. Then he realized his necklace was making the noise. He went over to his duffle and pulled it out. He looked at it and all five colors were blinking. Sherman’s eyes grew big. He pressed the red one in and it stopping flashing. He put it around his neck and grabbed his diary.
“Diary? This is probably my last entry for awhile. It’s bittersweet, really, but let me be the honest ‘16’ year old than I am. It’s sweeter than anything!” He closed it up once again and started packing his stuff into his bag. He looked over to Melanie then went back to packing. “Sorry, kid.” He whispered, and wrote a note for her and left it on the television stand as he tip-toed out.
To be continued. Ashlee.
