Well, I'm not going to be able to buy anything from anyone until I get my paypal account in order, but I thought I'd put this up in advance, just to see if anybody's got what I'm looking for.
I want to buy some loose MMPR battle bike sets, they don't have to be cherry, just presentable and with all or most of the accessories. I use the term "battle bike" loosely, as I'm looking for bikes from all three seasons (the original Zyuranger bikes, the Dairanger Thunderbikes*, and the Kakuranger shark cycles**).
Anyway, I want them because I'd like to modify them to look more like their original sentai counterparts, and to run on 1/32 scale slot car track, so I'm looking for some with a little play wear, so that I don't have to chop up some mint condition treasure. I basically just need ones that have the figure, and with all the chrome and what not, non of the unremovable pieces broken, or if broken, then they must include the piece so I can reattach it. Also, if you have any extra bike compatible figures, let me know. If you've got a figure that's a little scratched up, but isn't missing any limbs, I'll gladly take it, as I want to repaint and modify at least one figure as a Dairanger. I've heard that the BoA release of the Kakuranger (the "Alien Ranger") figures are bike compatible, and if that's true, I'm interested in those as well.
*I'm particularly interested in the yellow and red ones. All of the BoA "thunder bikes" used the same Dairanger bike mold, Kirinranger yellow's motorcycle. As a result, a yellow thunder bike could be easily modified into Kazu's cycle: the mold, color and even the number on the sticker are already the same. However, I'm still interested in any loose thunderbike, particularly a red one, because if I just change the "horns" from the kirin's unicorn horn to the correct dragon horns, the bike is already the right color and has the correct number. Once again, I'd also like some bike compatible figures that are a little roughed up, as I'd like to modify one or two of them into dairangers, so I have something to "ride" the bikes down the track.
**I'm only looking for the red one, or the others besides pink or yellow, (I can repaint a black, blue, or white ss, as they use the same molds) . The red, white, blue, and black ss's are based on the Kakuranger Red's cycle, they used the same molds and whatnot. But the yellow and pink ss's are based on Kakuranger yellow's bike, but without the sidecar. Since neither pink nor yellow's bike has a sidecar, I couldn't really turn it into a show accurate vehicle (to kakuranger) unless I were to fabricate one myself.
