i'm looking to buy a notebook (laptop) soon and i'm looking for opinions on the best ones. i'm looking for something cheap around 1000-1200 dollars and i kind of want something small or at least not HUGe that i can carry around to my classes. something with wireless too. ive been looking around but i cant tell the difference between all of the notebooks and i just look at the price. and i know thats probably not the best way to look. any really good notebooks out there? or any help?

Build a desktop tower then carry it to class? Did you even bother reading the first post?

Both are garbage.
I recommend looking into Asus brand.

Trying to save on cash & not into gaming?

This'll be more of a middle ground between the gaming & price:

Just $48 over your 1200, but definitely worth it IMO.
nVidia 7300 Go Vid card, 1GB RAM 80GB HD Space & Intel DUO Core.
Oh & FYI, they all come with Wi-Fi cards nowadays ;)
