[Seibukan Ranger]

This is my idea of what happens right after the last episode of SPD. It's my second try, and I plan to make it right. I have many plans for this fanfic. Enjoy and leave comments please!


Prologue

Space Patrol Delta, an elite police force, fought bravely against the Troobian Empire. Jack Landors, Sky Tate, Bridge Carson, Z Delgado, and Sydney Drew, the B-Squad Power Rangers, finally defeated the Troobians after many months.

After their victory, Jack Landors resigned from Red Ranger to help the needy with friends, and Sky Tate was promoted. Bridge Carson was also promoted to Blue Ranger although this left a hole in the team; they had no Green Ranger. That wasn’t a big deal; they could manage for a while.

The problem was that they didn’t know how long they had to recruit the new cadet, and they didn’t care much. They were focused on their victory, and were not as alert as they should have been. Now they had a weak spot, and that’s exactly as he planned.

He has been waiting…waiting for the day the Troobians would be defeated, so he could have his turn when they are tired and vulnerable. With his evil army, he would take over S.P.D, leaving Earth defenseless. Then he would conquer the universe easily for the one force that could stop him would be no more. It would be all too easy.

The universe lies in the hands of S.P.D’s Earth Base, and right now they aren’t prepared for what is next to come. With so much happening in the last couple months and what is to come in the future, the last thing that comes to mind is saving the universe, or even the Earth.

Commander Cruger and Isinia Cruger have a lot to catch up on. Plus, the Rangers only have two Megazords, and Dr. Kat Manx is working around the clock to finish the newest edition of Megazords.

Another distraction, the search for the new Green Ranger and the time it will take to find them. Will they have the experience to fit in?

The B-Squad is off to a new start as well. Sky is getting use to being the leader, and Z has to deal without Jack by her side. Bridge is wondering who the “new him” will be and is being a big pain. Syd is becoming more obsessed with her appearance, and keeps bugging Cruger about how ugly the uniforms are.

When will the changes stop? Who is this new evil? Who is the new Green Ranger? Is S.P.D. ready for the future?

Back to Action Part 1

Out in space on a huge space ship called the Reaper, a dark evil awaits for the time to come that they take over the universe. This evil has been waiting for almost a year, and isn’t going to wait another second. The Troobians have fallen, and it is his turn to attack; only he will not fail. He is the Doom Reaper, leader of the Grims, and with his army he will defeat SPD.

“The time is now! Destroy SPD and everything that stands in the way!” The Doom Reaper ordered with no intention of failing. If he beats SPD, nothing will be able to stop him from taking over the universe. Then his ominous army left the Reaper with their orders to defeat SPD.

On Earth, the new B-Squad Power Rangers were visiting an old friend, Jack Landors. He was the Red Ranger until he resigned to help the needy with Ally Samuels and Piggy.

“Well, brother, it looks like we both get to do something bigger,” Z smiled as she realized what a great experience being Rangers had been for the entire team.

Everything seemed perfect after SPD defeated the Troobians, but they were wrong. Suddenly something crashed into Earth creating a huge explosion.

“Beep, beep!” Sky pulled out his morpher to respond.

“Rangers, I’ve received a huge reading from the center of town. Go Rangers!” Commander Cruger ordered with insipid emotion towards the threat. Commander Cruger did not know of this evil, and he thought nothing of it. His worries were over; Emperor Grumm was contained and could do no harm.

“Where are they?” one of Doom’s generals, Braxil, asked as he waited with his team for the Rangers to show themselves.

“Our evil aura should send off the alarms at SPD, so they should be here anytime now,” Bronx informed his teammate.

After several minutes, the rangers still hadn’t shown up. They were still back with Jack, Ally, and Piggy.

“Hey guys, shouldn’t you be checking out that mystery reading for Cruger?” Ally asked wondering why that hadn’t done as they were told yet.

“Hey, the Troobians are gone, and they were the supposed to be the best evil there ever was,” Syd explained the B-Squad’s thoughts.

“I think that we should be more alert. I mean, what if there is this secret evil that has been planning our every move and is going to take over the world? Shouldn’t we just take this tiny evil out just in case?” Bridge used his weird, but very smart mind.

“Bridge, there is no more evil that can do any real damage. So why don’t you give your odd little brain a break?” Jack joked around too far.

“Hey, that’s out of line, Jack,” Sky stood up. “It’s not his fault, ha.”

“Fine…” Bridge replied in anger as he ran by himself to the crime scene.

“Bridge, wait!” Z tried to catch her friend. “Guys, that’s not cool.”

“Let’s go,” Syd agreed and followed Z. Then Sky finally followed.

“I have a really bad feeling about this; something’s just not right here,” Piggy expressed his feelings.

“Why’s that?” Ally asked.

“The world rests in the hands of slobs! What happened to the old team that really was the Power Rangers?”

“Yea, I guess without their leader the team just can’t handle themselves,” Jack bragged.

“Maybe Bridge is right? Hasn’t he been right about most things?” Ally asked Jack.

At the scene of disturbance, Bridge stopped facing the four villains followed by Z and Syd.

“Halt, SPD, you’re under arrest!”

“I don’t think so,” Bronx said as he fired his massive cannon. The three Rangers were doomed, luckily Sky and his force field jumped right in time to get hit, too. The now four Power Rangers flew into the air and then came crashing down hard.

“You don’t stand a chance!” Zyla laughed amazed at how easy this was going to be.

“Get up and fight, if you can!” Braxil hollered with the attitude of a young child.

The Rangers did get up eventually, and decided that this was real. It was either fight, or be destroyed.

“Ready?” Sky pulled out his morpher.

“Ready, the rest replied.”

“SPD EMEREGNCY!”

Now they engaged themselves in battle not knowing what strength they were up against. Bridge took on Bronx, dodging his heavy cannon at all costs. Every time Bronx got closer and closer, then finally met Bridge’s abdomen sending him across the battlefield. Z used her Delta Max Striker on Zyla, although there was no affect because Zyla simply blocked them with her staffs. Next, Zyla deflected a shot right back at Z sending her to the ground. Braxil had the most fun as he toyed with Sydney. He easily moved out of the way of Syd’s SPD Baton. When Syd extended all the way trying to reach him, he grabbed it and swung her into the air. Sky fought the last of Doom’s generals, Tankex. Tankex is strong and powerful. He didn’t hesitate with Sky’s pitiful attacks; Tankex quickly countered Sky’s first move, and sent Sky to the ground. Then Tankex grabbed Sky off the ground, and he threw him into a brick wall. The Power Rangers regrouped wounded very badly.

“This is brutal. What should we do?” Z questioned her leader.

“Retreat! Get back to the Base immediately! That’s an order!” Commander Cruger yelled at the top of his lungs through Sky’s morpher.

“What? The city’s in trouble…” Sky almost finished as he was blasted from the four evildoers. “Alright, we retreat. Let’s go.”

“Ha, ha! That’s right! Run, run you little weaklings!” Bronx laughed his head off as he easily defeated the Rangers.

Back at the SPD Base, Doggie and Isinia were watching the horrifying battle.

“How did I not see this coming?” Doggie thought out loud.

“Doggie, it’s not your fault…”

“Then who’s is it? The B-Squad’s, I don’t think so. They worked hard for about a year. I could never repay them.”

“But they also slacked off; they let their guards down. And The Grims saw it clearly. So how did we not see it?”

“I let my guard down, that’s how. “ Cruger sadly sighed as a holographic video appeared from the table.

“Commander Cruger…help… be impossible…too strong…out of nowhere…Grumm…taken…” Supreme Commander Birdie scrambled out of his mouth with explosion all around him. Then the transmission was lost.

“Oh no, the SPD Headquarters has been destroyed, but by who? Who could have done this?” Doggie wondered in his mind.

“Commander, who are those guys?” Sky barely made it into the Command Center.

“I don’t know; this is a new evil. There are no records on them at all.”

“Where did they come from?” Syd asked under her breathe.

“They must have planned this…” Bridge said. “Like they waited for us to open up, and then they struck without us knowing of them at all! They probably have studied our techniques and everything. They know everything about us, our interests, hobbies, plans, anything and everything!”

“Bridge, you’re way over your head! That’s not possible! Where could they have hidden for so long?” Sky quickly screamed down Bridge’s throat.

“No, Bridge is right! They have planned this entire thing, and they no our every move,” Z replied angrily at Sky. “Ever think that Bridge is psychic, or something, Sky? Oh yea, he is!”

“Rangers, Rangers, we must not fight each other. If we are going to find a way to win, we need a full team; Doggie that means you, too. I can monitor the battle and everything else,” Isinia tried to stop the fighting.

“I can help, also. Along with Boom and the rest of my crew,” Kat Manx walked in the door. “I haven’t finished the project completely, but it will have to do.”

“Yes, we are out of options and out of time!” Commander Cruger agreed.

“No, Kat should finish the project, whatever it is, and we can hold them off until then.” Sky disagreed with a better idea, or he thought. “We still haven’t tried SWAT Mode along with the SWAT and Delta Command Megazords.”

“Right,” everyone agreed and spread out to their stations.

Commander Cruger sent out to find the new Green Ranger. Kat started to work on the last touches on the project she had been working on with Boom and her crew. The Rangers and Isinia watched the city for any disturbances. In the room where the records were kept, a shadowy figure appeared and then disappeared as quickly as he appeared in the room’s window. Next, Commander Cruger walked into the door, “open.” Then the alarms went off.

“All SPD officers, Rangers, and crew members report to the Command Center immediately!” Isinia announced over the base’s intercom.

“Rangers, the Grims are back; the readings are off the chart. You better get over there fast!” Isinia informed them.

“But before you go, take him with you. He’s the new Green Ranger,” Cruger came in. “He has the best scores out of the entire academy. He should be a great addition to the team.”

“I’m Brock Smith, pleasure to be here.”

“Alright, let’s go! Ready?” Sky prepared his morpher.

“SPD EMERGENCY!” the Rangers called out activating their powers.

At the city, the Rangers were surprised to see only a huge explosion, and no criminals.

“I wonder what it is?” Z questioned not knowing what evil had caused the explosion. Then it appeared; a giant robot that had the power to wipe out the city in one blow.

“Kat, we need the Flyers!” Sky demanded ready to have some fun.

“SWAT Megazord!” the Rangers called as they combined their individual zords.

“Hello Rangers, did you have fun getting your butts handed to you last time?” Demonox, one of the strongest of the Grims, embarrassed the Rangers. “Well, let’s see what your Megazord has!” Then Demonox shot a blast of lasers from his Megazord, but the Megazord quickly did a roundhouse kick disincarnating the lasers.

“OK, SWAT Megazord, Cannon…what the?” Sky started as he noticed something wrong with the Megazord.

“Our leg is damaged severely!” Syd screamed not knowing how they would keep fighting.

Then the Megazord became stunned from the lasers affect, and were and open goal. Next, Demonox shot another blast bigger than the last crushing the SWAT Megazord. The Rangers flipped out just in time before the Megazord blew into pieces.

We need the Delta Command Megazord, now!” Sky called ready to get back up and fight.

“That’s not possible. We cannot risk our base, and all the criminals inside. It would be too risky,” Commander explained.

“But sir, what do we do?” Z asked curious of what would happen next.

“You’ll use the Delta Max Megazord V2,” Kat announced that it was finished. “It should come very useful. I tried to boost it up a bit, but I was running out time.”

“Alright, Delta Max Megazord, online!” Sky called unto his new Megazord. Then he came roaring down the streets, it was the Delta Squad Megazord riding the Omega Max Cycle! The Rangers jumped in.

“Transform, now! Delta Max Megazord!”

“So you have a new toy for me to destroy; that’s fine with me!” Demonox threatened the Rangers newest Megazord. “Fire!”

“Jets!” the Rangers started as they shifted to the left dodging the blast. “Power Punch!” The Megazord shot forward and performed to rapid punches, although Demonox caught both of them and flipped the Megazord deactivating it into the Delta Squad Megazord and the Omega Max Cycle.

“Let’s split; double team!” Sky ran into the Omega Max Cycle. “Omega Max Megazord!”

“No, Sky; it’s not finished!” Kat screamed in terror. “Sky, no!”

“Oh no…ahhhh!” Sky was being shocked from the malfunction. “Eject, it’s going to blow!” Sky screamed as he jumped into the Delta Squad Megazord with the other Rangers.

“Sky, are you OK?” Syd asked worried that he wasn’t going to make it through another battle.

“Delta Squad Saber! Attack!” Sky roared in rage. “Let’s crush him!” The Megazord swung slicing Demonox’s robot.

“Ha, ha, ha! No way, take this!” Demonox caught the saber, and split it into two. Then he kicked the Delta Max Megazord to the ground forcing the Rangers to eject. Demonox also jumped out to face the Rangers.

“He’s too strong…we can’t win,” Syd cried like a tiny puppy.

“No, we’re not down yet!” Sky replied trying to encourage his squad.

“SPD SWAT Mode!”

“You’re in trouble now!” Z tried to scare Demonox off, but of course it failed.

“Remember us?” Bronx and the other four Grims appeared next to Demonox. “Go, we can handle them.”

“Say good-bye to SPD forever!” Demonox laughed as he teleported away.

“Oh no, he’s going to destroy the base!” Bridge noticed.

“Well, let’s take care of these guys, first,” Brock finally spoke.

“But what about the base?” Z asked him.

“Commander’s there; he can hold him off until we can get there.”

“Commander, Demonox is heading for the base. Watch out! We’ll come as soon as we finish these guys,” Sky informed Cruger using his morpher.

“Forget about us?” Bronx fired his cannon at the Rangers. The Rangers were blown into the air.

Then the four Grims attacked viciously. They were showing no mercy. Brock was actually doing very well against Tankex. He was fast and strong until Tankex shot his missiles. Then Brock went to the ground. Bridge fought Bronx, who was firing blasts into the ground, which would hit Bridge from underneath. It was very sneaky, although Bridge caught on, and jumped forward blasting Bronx with his Delta Max Striker. Using his SPD Baton he sliced Bronx, and then kicked him backwards. Sky was fighting little Braxil, the fast and sneaky Grim. Sky was trying to keep up with him as he fired rapidly with his Delta Blasters. Braxil fell eventually, giving Sky a chance.

“Delta Blasters, Combo Mode! Fire!” Braxil easily moved out of the way hitting Bridge in the back and powering him down.

“Bridge!” Sky accidentally nailed his friend.

Back at the base, Commander Cruger stood at the entrance in Demonox’s path.

“Move out of the way, Doggie! I wouldn’t want to hurt you! Ha, ha, ha, ha!”

“SPD EMERGENCY!” Cruger morphed into the Shadow Ranger. “Shadow Saber, Power Up!”

Cruger stood his ground waiting for him to attack.

“You asked for this yourself, Doggie.”

Demonox charged as he pulled out a long saber, and Doggie ran forward with his saber drawn. They clashed blades, and both pushed off flipping through the air. They both sprinted back into the air clashing swords, again. This time, Demonox fired blasts from his eyes, stunning Cruger to the ground. Right behind him, Demonox swung straight down on Commander. Commander did put up a shield, but how long could he hold it? Demonox charged his eyes once more, but Cruger shoved him off just tin time.

The ladies fought Zyla back in the city. Zyla swung her staffs around quickly where the Rangers couldn’t get a hit in.

“Delta Max Striker!” they called firing nonstop at the enemy.

The shots and were deflected, sending the to the ground. Using her staffs she stabbed the girls, and threw them across the battlefield powering them down. Brock was still battling it out as hard as he could. But Tankex was overpowering him. Whenever Brock would start to move, he would simply fire a missile right in the way making Brock stop. After many shots, the smoke hid Tankex’s attack. He shot lasers from his eyes powering Brock down. Next Sky went down after Braxil snuck behind him and sliced him in the back with one strong blow followed by many others.

Cruger was ready for Demonox’s next move back at the base’s entrance until Grimies showed up all around him.

“Sorry, I can’t stay and play. I have business to attend.”

“Shadow Saber, Power Up! Err yea!” Commander sliced a huge hole in the line of Grimies, but there still many left. They all charged him, and eventually they all slammed him to the ground. When they pulled him to his feet, a Super Grimie shot Cruger as the Grimies that were holding him jumped to safety. “Ah! No!” Cruger was forced to power down. “You won’t win. I won’t let you. Then the Grimies all charged their blasters, and were ready to strike when someone kicked the row down like dominoes. It was Jack!

“Commander, are you alright?”

“Save the base, hurry!”

Then Jack ran off into the base entrance. Jack may not be a Ranger anymore, but when he heard of all the commotion, he had to come. Nothing will stop Jack from a fight. When he ran into the base, Kat was on the floor.

“He went into the containment room. You must stop him before he releases all of the criminals!”

As Jack ran into the containment room, Demonox had five containment cards in his hands.

“Stop! You are under arrest!”

“Oh goodie, I get the pleasure of destroying the famous Red Ranger. I mean, the famous and washed up Red Ranger! Ha, ha, ha!” Demonox put the cards away, and charged his eyes.

“Good-bye!” he fired right at Jack who was defenseless. Luckily, Cruger deflected the shots with his Shadow Saber.

“Commander!” Jack was very surprised and thankful.

“Run!”

“Never!”

Then a group of SPD cadets and officers stood ready to fire with SPD Blasters in their hands.

“Fire!” Commander ordered with no hesitation. This was their chance to defeat a Grim and get a jump in the game. A small explosion lit, but when the smoke disappeared, so had Demonox. “No, he got away!”

Back where the Rangers were struggling to fight the four Grims, the Rangers were powered down and injured. The Grims were preparing the final blow, when two Zs appeared behind them and kicked the villains down. When the Grims, got up, the Rangers were gone. They had run behind a wall just for a little time to come up with a plan.

“What do we do?” Syd wondered how they would survive.

“We use our civilian powers; they’re our only hope,” Sky suggested. ‘What about you Brock, can you handle yourself?”

“Yea, definitely,” Brock replied has his fists charged up electricity.

“Alright, let’s go!” Sky ordered in fear, but also rage. When they ran out of their hiding spots, the four Grims were patiently waiting for them.

“Hello!” Demonox appeared about a foot in front and blasted them. “I’m Demonox, one of the most powerful Grims there is!”

“Great, just what we need, another Grim,” Bridge complained in devastation.

Then all five Grims prepared to strike and defeat the SPD B-Squad Power Rangers when Commander jumped in slicing each Grim backwards.

“I spared you last time, Doggie, but this time I will make sure that you never hold your sword, again! Attack!”

“No!” the Rangers cried in fear, but they weren’t hit.

“Ha, ha, ha! Did you see their faces!” Braxil laughed his head off as his master appeared before him.

“I am the Doom Reaper! Ruler of the Earth!” Doom bragged off his soon defeat of SPD. “I thought you would be a least a little bit more of a challenge, but I guess I was wrong! Now the Earth, and soon the universe will be mine! All mine!”

Back to Action Part 2

“Rangers, we must not stop fighting. The universe is depending on us,” Commander Cruger in Ranger form tried encouraging his squad. “Get up, it’s an order!”

“If we are the last chance to save the universe, then what happened to SPD Headquarters?” Bridge asked a good question.

“That’s where I came in. Ha, ha, ha!” Demonox proudly explained of the terrible tragedy. “Are you prepared for your turn?”

“Yea, bring it on!” Sky stepped forward as a leader pulling out his SPD Morpher. “Ready?”

“Ready!”

“SPD EMEREGENCY!” the B-Squad Power Rangers activated their powers.

“ONE, SPD RED!” Sky posed ready for battle.

“TWO, SPD BLUE!” Bridge shouted his rank.

“THREE, SPD GREEN!” Brock showed off his position.

“FOUR, SPD YELLOW!” Z proudly exclaimed.

“FIVE, SPD PINK!” Syd posed like a warlike model.

“SPACE PATROL DELTA! DEFENDERS OF EARTH!” all five rangers announced as a gleaming SPD Badge appeared behind them.

“SPD EMEREGENCY! DEFENDER OF THE GALAXY! SPD SHADOW RANGER!”

“RANGERS READY!”

“Here’s your last warning, surrender now,” Commander tried one last time knowing they had no chance of defeating the Grims.

“Fine, we surrender, but they don’t! Grimies, attack!” the Doom Reaper demanded.

Then Grimies appeared out of the air.

“Delta Blasters, Fire!” Sky blasted three Grimies out of the air. A round house blocked an attack just in time to shoot a few others that were preparing an attack. Then Sky jumped kicked the first offender in the chest and flipped backward.

Bridge loved his new colors as the shined from the sun’s rays. “No one touches this suit; no one!” Next he performed a series of round houses followed by a spinning-air assault to a row of Grimies sending them down like dominoes.

“Delta Max Striker!” Z called out as she crouched and drilled a group of Grimies on a high platform. Following was a roll dodging an attack from three Grimies. As she knelt, she sent them to the ground with any lasers.

Syd slashed Grimies by the twos. “Delta Baton!” Syd jumped up and came down with a “slash” and a “bow” as she sliced three Grimes and kicked another through the air. “Take this and that!” she growled as she swatted Grimies on the head with her baton.

Brock easily flipped two Grimies to the ground. Next he simply threw a Grimie into a pile crashing them all out. “Too easy.” Then a surprise attack nearly hit him, but he turned quickly and jump-spin-kicked it right in the gut.

Commander Cruger had no trouble slashing through rows of Grimies. “Shadow Saber, Power Up!” After a streak of light that crossed the Grimies, they were down for the count. Commander’s Morpher suddenly beeped. “Kat, what’s wrong?”

“Commander, an unidentified object is headed for Earth. I’m trying to decode it, but I’m having trouble,” Kat informed her boss while in the Command Center.

“Maybe I can help?” SOPHIE shyly walked into the room. “I might be able to give your systems an upgraded boost. How about it?”

“I’m not so sure how the security walls will react, but if you’re willing to risk it I have no problem. Just be careful not to overload the system for it could severely damage your circuits.”

SOPHIE nodded knowing this won’t be an easy task.

Back at the battle, the rangers stood in front of Doom and his generals.

“Looks like you were successful in defeating those lousy foot soldiers, but can you even stand up to us?” Doom sarcastically made fun of the rangers.

“They don’t stand a chance. Let’s just go ahead and get rid of these pests,” Demonox persuaded his master.

“Agreed, theirs no reason for Plan A when we can use Plan B.”

Brock looked very confused at what all of these different “plans” were. “Let’s take them on a ride through SPD’s army,” Brock rushed ahead jumping on Tankex.

“What are you doing?”

“What in the world is Plan B?”

“There’s no reason for us to go through with Plan A, SPD is a bigger joke than we thought,” Tankex informed the SPD cadet and threw him off of him. “We can go ahead and just simply take them out.”

The other rangers attacked, too. Sky jumped over Demonox surprising him with a kick to the solar plexus. Bridge rolled in front of Bronx and jumped kicked him in the face. Z cart wheeled all the way to Zyla and ended the gymnastic-act with a back kick into her chest. Syd flipped into the air and slashed Braxil down the center. Cruger ran at Doom with his saber at hand. Doom tried to blast Cruger although it had no effect. Commander darted past Doom slicing him through his center.

“Are you so sure?” Brock questioned the Grims’ thoughts. “Delta Max Striker!” Brock blasted Tankex into the other Grims as they regrouped.

“Lucky shot, why don’t you try that number again,” Zyla scrambled out.

“Maybe we are wrong about SPD; I mean right…or…” Braxil stupidly tried to say.

“Sure we can give it another go,” Sky cued his team.

“SPD, SWAT MODE!” the five rangers powered up their armor. “Delta Enforcers, Fire!” The Grims had no chance of dodging all of the lasers flying at the,. After the smoke and sparks disappeared, the Grims were on the ground.

“What now!” Brock shouted. “Back to Plan A? Ha, ha!”

“Delta Enforcers, Containment Strike!” Sky engaged his weapon. “Fire!” The blasts from all five Delta Enforcers seemed to have hit the Grims, although when everything cleared, a Super Grimie stood in a threatening stance.

“They got away!” Commander Cruger was amazed.

“And they left us a gift, too,” Bridge made a funny joke.

“Let’s take him out, I’m beat,” Syd yawned.

“Right,” Z agreed as she stretched.

Sky attacked first slinging his Delta Enforcer at the Super Grimie’s head, but he ducked under it. Bridge was in the air as he was blasting lasers in his direction although they ended up landing right in front of Sky flipping him backwards. When Bridge came down, the Super Grimie bicycle-kicked him toward Sky. Brock flipped over the Grim, and he tried a kick to the stomach. Suddenly his leg was caught, and he was slung in the guys’ direction. Z and Syd tried stabbing the Super Grimie, but they were easily flipped to the ground when he caught their batons. Commander came next slicing the Super Grimie over and over again multiple times.

“Shadow Saber, Full Power!” Cruger made the final blow right down the criminal’s middle. The problem was that the enemy jumped into a huge robot during the barrage of smoke and sparks.

“Good work, Commander!” Syd congratulated her boss with a thumb up.

“Kat, we need the Delta Runners!” Sky called upon his zords.

“Delta Runners V2 on the way,” Kat replied activating the cargo bay doors.

The B-Squad Power Rangers jumped into their individual zords.

“Whoa, I love your zord, Sky!” Bridge scanned the interior of his new Delta Runner 2.

“Hope you like it because I don’t want it back. This things got awesome speed, and the red fits me perfectly.”

“You guys are worse than Syd.” Z juggled covering her mouth.

“Can we form the Megazord already?” Syd wasn’t happy with Z’s last remark.

“I agree, he’s about to trash the city,” Brock brought the others back to reality.

“DELTA SQUAD MEGAZORD, V2! ONLINE!”

At Ally’s store, the three were talking over things as they packed some clothes for their next give away.

“I wonder how the rangers are doing,” Piggy wondered as he looked up from his clipboard.

“Yea, I’m scared about this “new evil,” Ally was on the same thought as Piggy.

“Guys, they’re fine. Look there’s the Megazord trashing that robot,” Jack tried to persuade his friends. “Or not…

The Delta Squad Megazord was drilled by one of the robots kicks sending it to stumble.

“How about we run over there before we leave?” Jack suggested just taking a visit.

“Sure!” the other two replied quickly.

Even though Jack’s not Red Ranger anymore, he still feels like pat of the squad, and he doesn’t want to leave them, especially Z.

“Delta Squad Cuffs!” Bridge engaged the trap creating a diversion.

Once the cuffs had a hold on the robot, Sky fired the Delta Squad Blaster. The lasers nailed the robot as the enormous handcuffs disappeared.

“Delta Squad Saber, now!” Brock called ready to end the battle.

“Boom!” the robot was destroyed, and the Super Grimie was contained.

“Nice work, Brock,” Syd complimented her new squad member.

“Someone had to do it.”

Out in space on the Reaper, the Grims were talking over what had just occurred.

“So they have a very strong heart when they go down,” Doom informed why they were beat. “We can’t defeat that strong of will power unless we have hearts and determination.”

“Which we don’t have,” Braxil smarted off, and Zyla smacked him on the head. “Ow.”

“Quiet!” Zyla replied not pleased at all.

“Hey Demonox, what about…” Bronx remembered what Demonox’s first mission was.

“Right!” Tankex interrupted Bronx with a surprised yell of excitement.

“Yea, but we’ll save that little trick for later,” Demonox “I’ve got something else up my sleeve. Take out the doggie. That’s an order!” he screamed very loudly.

In the Delta Base, the B-Squad was asleep, except for one member, Brock. He started to get up when the Rec Room’s door opened. Jack, Ally, and Piggy walked in.

“Good morning sunshine!” Piggy shouted waking everyone up.

Brock was startled, but soon his eyes grew big as he smiled.

“Jack!” Z ran over and gave him a big hug.

“Hey, Z. How’s everything around here?” he replied knowing they had a limited time.

“Crazy, dude! There’s this new evil thing, and it almost destroyed us!” Bridge started blabbing. “Then we were like ‘SWAT MODE’ and kicked butt! Then…”

“They’re called the Grims; the Doom Reaper is their leader,” Sky interrupted Bridge for goodness sake. “They’re pretty bad. I don’t know how we’ll make it.”

“Aw, come on, no one can stop the B-Squad right?” Ally tried to encourage, but saw that this was serious.

“The Grims…” Piggy thought he misunderstood.

“Yea, you heard of them?” Bridge asked knowing no one else did.

“Nope…. never ever in my life….” Piggy lied straight up.

In the Reaper, Demonox ordered, “Bring him to me. Bring me Piggy!”

Back in the base’s Rec Room, the guys didn’t see Brock anywhere.

“Where’s the new Green Ranger?” Jack wondered not seeing any new faces.

“Um…not sure,” Syd looked confusedly around the room.

Piggy ducked his head around the door and saw a man in a green B-Squad uniform walking down the hall.

“Hey you!” Piggy startled Brock. “Come on in, you’re missing the party! You’ve got guests to meet!”

Brock turned slowly and started walking over to the room.

“Hey Piggy, right?”

“Yes, and you are?”

“Brock; there’s someone that wants to meet you,” Brock left Piggy hanging as he walked by into the room.

As they entered, everyone jumped surprised they found him.

“The name’s Jack; how’s it going?”

“I’m Brock.”

“This is Ally,” Jack introduced his friend.

“Right, cool,” he replied shaking both their hands.

Doom sat in his creepy chair on the Reaper waiting for his request to arrive. Then it came. Piggy landed on the floor right in front of Doom.

“Piggy! How are you? Well I don’t care. I want you to take out Cruger for me.”

“I can’t…” Piggy started to say when Doom stunned him with lasers from his eyes.

“You will do it! And don’t think about telling SPD, I’ve got eyes everywhere!”

“Ok, ok, I’ll do it.”

“No, I have a better idea. Bring Doggie to me…alive!” the Doom Reaper ordered. “Now go!”

Back in the Delta Base, the B-Squad and their friends were still talking.

“Where’d you go, Brock?” Sky asked curiously.

“I thought I heard something out in the hall when you guys were sleeping,” Brock replied as he peaked around the corner seeing Piggy was nowhere in sight.

“Probably just us!” Piggy patted him on the back as he walked in. “No worries big guy.”

“Piggy!” Brock was scared to death. “How did…I mean where’d you go?”

“Not sure really…” Piggy glanced at everyone. “Last remember…talking to you…” Piggy lied his head off again.

The sirens suddenly sounded off.

“Rangers report to the Command Center immediately!” Kat demanded over the base intercoms.

Jack started to run, and laughed knowing it wasn’t meant for him. They all said their good-byes and went their separate ways.

The B-Squad arrived at the Command Center to see Kat and SOPHIE standing with Commander Cruger.

“What’s wrong, Commander?” Sky questioned the alarms.

“The unknown object is SPD! We don’t know exactly what it is, but in time our scanners should pick it up thanks to SOPHIE,” Commander started as SOPHIE proudly smiled. “The problem is, as you know, SPD Headquarters has been destroyed, and I am now promoted to Supreme Commander because I was supposedly next in line. Also, I am promoting Kat to Earth Commander. Hence, we will both be leaving for a period of time. Kat must take her exam, and I must visit the other SPD Bases. I am leaving Sky Tate in charge until then. I have trust in you all. I know this isn’t the best time. The sooner we leave the sooner we’ll return without the Grims knowing we were gone. I feel this is the best way. Hopefully Kat will return before the SPD object lands. Space Patrol Delta will not fail. Have no worries. Dismissed!”

The Rangers were all shocked as they watched their new Supreme Commander, and soon to be Commander leave the room.

“Don’t worry B-Squad. Remember, you’re the best.” Kat squeezed out before she left. “One squad member can’t change that. You can do it; I’ll only be gone a day or two. Good-bye.”

“Wow…” Bridge tried to say more.

“This is all too much,” Z didn’t blink the entire time.

“Guys, we’ll be fine. Kat will return sooner than we know it, and she’ll take over.” Sky tried to be a leader.

Brock was the only one smiling. “See you guys later.”

“Freeze, we have to stay on duty now,” Sky ordered. “We all stay in the Commander Center. We will each take turns on night guard. Understood?”

“Yes sir!” everyone else answered on the B-Squad.

Nothing happened over the next few hours, and the rangers were becoming weary.

“Ok, we all know our shifts,” Sky began. “Brock is first, next is Bridge, then me, Syd, and then Z.”

The B-Squad went to their rooms except for Brock and Bridge.

“You can go, I’m on duty first,” Brock informed Bridge thinking he had forgotten.

“Right, see you in a few,” Bridge waved his bare hand secretly scanning Brocks aura.

“Ok; good night.”

“Actually, I’d like to stay hear and help you. I’m not tired yet. Sky shouldn’t mind. I’ll still do my shift when yours is over. Alright?”

“Whatever.”

“Cool. I’m going to be like a spy undercover!”
“Shhh, everyone’s asleep you nut.”

“My bad.,” Bridge apologized. “ Want some toast? It’s buttery,” Bridge waved his fingers in front of his mouth while chewing on a piece of toasted bread.

“No, thanks.”

“Alright then.”

“Can you go check to see if everyone’s asleep for me?” Brock tried to get Bridge to leave.

“Why? It doesn’t really matter.”

“Whatever.”

After an hour or so, Brock decided he would just leave Bridge alone and forget about it. After another hour Brock went to sleep, and Bridge took over. About thirty minutes later, Sky walked into the Command Center.

“Times up, Bridge,” Sky informed his cadet. “My turn. Man you look exhausted.”

“Yea, I stayed with Brock.”

“Why in the world did you do that?”

“I read his aura, and it wasn’t pretty. I don’t know what’s up with him, but there’s something wrong. Plus, he kept trying to make me leave.”

“Maybe he doesn’t like you, ha, ha.”

“Seriously, Sky.”

“Well, I talk to him in the morning.”

“Go get some rest, that’s an order.”

“Yes sir,” Bridge yawned an walked out of the Command Center.

After Sky’s shift, Syd took over. Finally Z fulfilled her duty.

On the Reaper, the red eyes were back.

“You say that they are becoming suspicious, well maybe you should hurry it up then!” Doom screamed at the figure in the dark. “Don’t blow it!”

It was morning at the Delta Base, and Sky went looking for Brock. When he reached Brock’s room, it was empty. Brock then walked up surprised to see Sky.

“Brock where have you been?”

“I was…taking a little jog. That’s all.”

“An unidentified cadet says you’re acting suspicious. What’s up?”

“Bridge? Man, I’m not sure what’s got into him. He’s like on my back since I got here.”

“Well from now on, stay in contact at all times.”

“I had my morpher.”

“I mean stay here, or tell us before you go. We never know when Doom could strike. You wouldn’t want to be alone.”

“But…”

“That’s an order!”

“Alright.”

“Yes sir!”

“Yes sir…”
