Power Rangers: Mystic Force, Cold Christmas

Disclaimer: This story is in response to the Power rangers romantic clan thread fanfic challenge for December on rangerboard.com I do not own any of these character and the rights belong to Disney.

NOTE: This story takes place the Christmas after the rangers beat the master. Lately Nick has been keeping in touch with the rangers through phone calls. As of now he is in Boston, MA with Udonna and Leinbow. The date is December 20th 2006.

*In a dark alley lights flash all over the place and a spell seal rises from the ground. From it rises 50-below one of the Barbarian Beasts.*
50-Below- Finally I have regained enough power to destroy the mystic warriors once and for all. Now where to begin looking?

*At the Rock- Porium, Xander is in charge of decorating the outside of the store. He has a box of lights ready for stringing. He reaches in the box and pulls out a strand only to pull out the whole box. He looks into the window and yells to Toby.
Xander- Geeze Mate. How long have these decorations been stored in the back room?
Toby- Oh not that long, just a year ir two. But don’t worry Xander you will be able to do it.
*Xander looks around to see if no ones around and takes out his wand. He looks around once more for surrounding people and aims his wand phone to the ball of lights and they untangle and string the front of the rock-porium.*
Xander- All done
*Toby comes outside to look at Xander’s work and sees its done.*
Toby- What did I tell you guys. Your magic os good for fighting evil but not to do things around the shop. Doing thins normally just..keeps the rock alive.
*Chip and Vida walk by and see Xander getting a talking to by Toby*
Vida- What did he do now?
Toby- oh never mind it looks good. Just don’t do it again.
Vida- Hey Toby. Have you seen Maddy?
Toby- Ya she is inside talking to Nick.

*Inside the four walk in and Madison hangs up her phone, and jumps up*
Madison- Guys guess what? Nick is in Boston and wants up to go see him for Christmas
Chip- What’s he doing there?
Madison- Well I guess his parents will be returning from there trip soon in Boston. They have a house there so he Udonna and Leinbow are staying for Christmas.
Vida- So are we going to go?
Madison- I don’t see why not. Dad and mom are going skiing so we might as well. What about you guys.
Chip- Im in any things better than my family on an eggnog overdose. It gets ugly.
Xander- Well count me in. It will be nice to be in a place that’s not 70 degrees all year.
Madison- So Xander you have never seen snow?
Xander- Nope, it didn’t snow back home and you know as well as I it dosen’t get very cold in Briarwood.
Toby- Alright its settled. You guys will go see Nick tomorrow.
Vida- What about the store?
Toby- Don’t worry about it were only open for 2 more days until Christmas and I can have Phinneus and Nikki fill in


*The next day the rangers all meet in the forest with bags*
Vida- So how are we going to get there?
Madison- I got that one down. FIRE HEART!!
*The huge dragon lands and the rangers all climb on. We see it fly away and from the ground we see 50-below look up and see the dragon fly by.*
50-below- Ahh Rangers going on a little trip are we?

*In the woods behind Nicks house the dragon lands and the rangers all hop off. Madison runs over to Nick and hives him a huge hug.*
Nick- Oh I missed you so much
Madison- Same here.
*She releases the hug. The other rangers exchange greetings.
Xander- So Nick what have you been up to?
Nick- Not much Xander you?
Xander- Same old same old.
Vida- This house is amazing. You Live Here?
Nick- well Ya, my adoptive parents do.
Madison- Where’s Udonna?
Nick- Oh she and dad are inside making a surprise for you guys.

*in the house Udonna pulls out Pizzas from the Oven*
Chip- Wow! Udonna you cook?
Udonna- Well sort of.
*She waves her wand and the table is set with decorations everywhere. The rangers all sit down. And dig in. Not noticing the garnishing around the plates
Madison- Hey, look, mistletoe.
Xander- Isn’t Mistletoe poisonous?
Chip- Well wasn’t planning on eating it.
Nick- Well you can never really tell with you can we Chip. I mean you’re the one who if I remember eats Marshmallow Pizza.
Chip- Hey don’t knock it until you try it.
*There phones ring and habitually they all jump up and flip it open*
Nick- Well this is just like old times.
Claire *on phone*- Rangers I can sense dark magic in your general area you may want to check it out.
Udonna- Go rangers. This reunion will have to wait.
Rangers- Magical Source, Mystic Force!!!

Gracias Tux. Its nothing Amazing but its giving me a break from my season and it seemed like an interesting topic to write about. We'll see where it goes from here.

COLD CHRISTMAS CONT....

*In the city the rangers jump down from there Mystic Racers and land in the city. %0- below who was attacking innocent people tuns and sees the rangers.*
50below- ahh rangers I knew it was only a matter of time before you would show up.
Madison- You?
Chip- What?
Vida- I thought we sent you packing?
50-below- Oh you did but thanks to dark magic a am back and stronger than ever.
Nick- We’ll see about that one.
Rangers- Magi Staffs
*The rangers charge at 50-below. Vida is the first to attack. She jumps over an attack from his stick and attempts to hit her with her magi staff but is hit back. Then nick slices down with his magi staff but it is easily blocked by 50-below, who then slices his cane down at nick and he is thrown back. All the rangers run to nick.*
Madison- Nick are you ok?
Nick- Fine but this guy is tougher.
Vida- Legend anyone?
Rangers- Legendary Source Mystic Force!.....Mystic Lion Staffs.
*The rangers pull out there staffs and charge at the monster again. Nick and Madison reach first and slash 50-below in the stomach but he doesn’t move. He then calls upon an ice chunk and hits it at Nick and Madison. Who are shot back, into a wall*
50-below- See I am more powerful.
Xander- Forget about us?
Xander/Vida/Chip- Code 2
50-Below- Oh Hush
*He waves his stick at the rangers and they turn into icicles and fall to the ground*
Madison- VIDA!!!!!!
Nick- GUYS!!!
50- below- Now for you two!!! Mega Ice Attack!!
* A stream of ice is created on the ground and the yeti skates around the place and attacks Nick and Madison and they fall to the ground demorphed.*.
Nick- We gotta get out of here.
Madison- Your right but what about the others? Magnesio!!
*She used her wand and the icicles fly into her hand. Nick and Madison then look at each other and run*
50-below- You can’t hide for long rangers.

*Nicks house Udonna is looking at the icicles with a perplexed face*
Udonna- I cant figure out how this could happen. 50-Below is strong but he could never do this.
Madison- Tell me about it. Is there anything we can do?
Leinbow- We should keep them cold. Frezores!
*A bunch of frost appears on the multicolored icicles*
Nick- You know we have freezers for that right?
* Leinbow chuckles a little at Nicks joke*
Madison- But now what? We can barley fight him. Isn’t Christmas supposed to be fun and joyous, not fighting a creature risen up from the dead.
Udonna- Well we do face a little problem here. With Daggeron in the Magical dimension With Magi Mother we are down a ranger.
Leinbow- Bowen, Madison. You two stay here Udonna and I will go try to find the beast.
Udonna- He is right. We will call if we need your help.
*Udonna waves her hand and they disappear in a flash of white light.*
Nick- What are we going to do? We lost Xander, Vida, Chip. It doesn’t look good.
Madison- Hey! Don’t make me yell at you again
*Nick Laughs*
Nick- We wouldn’t want that.
*Madison raises her arms for a hug*
Madison- Come here
*Nick walks over and gives her a big hug. They release after about 30 seconds*
Madison- I got an idea. Show me around the city.
Nick- Really? Ok lets go

*Downtown, Boston. Madison and nick are parading around the city when they come across Quincy Market*
Madison- Wow. This place is amazing.
Nick- Ya it is nice. Its nicer at night though.
Madison- Really? Why?
Nick- Well they light up all the trees around here and it just looks so cool.
Madison- Well then we will have to come back.
Nick- Don’t worry we will.
*morphers beep*
Udonna-*Over phone* Bowen, Madison we need you!
Nick- lets go!!

*They run into the city morphed in Legend mode. Udonna and Leinbow are on the ground struggling to get up.*
50-Below- Ahh you two again. Time to witness the destruction of these two pathetic rangers.
*he waves his staff at Udonna and Leinbow and they turn to ice. He then turns to Nick and Madison.*
Madison- Your going to pay for that one. Nick I Have an idea.
*She whispers to nick quickly and runs to the side.*
Nick- Fire heart!
*The giant dragon comes into view and nick is transformed into his Battlizer*
Nick- Red Dragon Fire Ranger!
*Madison then hits a code on her morpher and a Mystic Force Fighter appears on her hand that doesn’t have her lion staff in it. She than grabs hold of nicks hand and they take off.*
Madison- Alright Nick NOW!!
*Nick releases Madison and she rockets towards 50-below. She raises her Lion Staff and fires a blast at0-below and then raises her glove and hits 50blow dead on with both attacks.*
50-below- That hurt.
Nick- Not as much as this is going to.
*Nick throws one of his weapons at 50below who falls to the ground at the attack and blows up. We then see Udonna and Leinbow return to normal. Then in the house we see Chip Xander and Vida return to normal. Madison and nick run over to Udonna and Leinbow.*
Leinbow- Thank you son.
Nick- Don’t thank me. That was Maddy’s plan.
Udonna- You have grown into a great warrior Madison.
Madison- Thank you. But now all I want to do is rest.
Udonna- No Problem. Lets go back to the house and we will celebrate.

*In the house. Everyone is there now. Nicks adoptive parents are all filled in and accept the fact he is a ranger, Claire teleported Phinneus, Toby, LeeLee, Nikki, Daggeron and Jenji to the house to party.*
Jenji*to Nicks Adoptive parents* ...and there I was surrounded by hundred of dark magic creatures and all I had was my claws to defend me. So I used a little something I picked up in Cat-man-do....
*Nicks parents have a look of interest on there face. Then Vida gets up to attempt to sing along with Chip.*
Vida/Chip- Jingle Bells Jingle Bells.......
Xander- Guys, guys, guys no. Vida sorry but you cant sing.
Vida- Xander I oughta.
Xander- That’s why you will get this party started.
*He raises his wand and Vida’s turntables appear. Vida walks over and starts playing some mixes of Holiday music. Everyone gets up to dance. Nikki and Toby are dancing, Udonna and Leinbow, and LeeLee and Phinneus. Chip goes behind the turntables and jams with Vida.. Xander walks up to Claire.*
Xander- May I have this dance?
Claire- You may!
*They join the others*
*Madison is hanging with Nick she is filming the party.*
Madison- This turned out nice.
Nick- Ya it did.
*Vida sees them and Zaps Mistletoe above there heads.*
Nick- Hey look.
Madison- Hum Mistletoe. What do you do with that.
Nick- Something like this.
*Nick kisses her and the whole room “awwws”*
Nick- Ha ha very funny. Now lets get this party started!!!!
Madison- Wait Hold on I have a surprise for Xander Vi and Chip.
Xander- What?
Madison- Come with us. But put these on.
Vida- Blindfolds?
Nick- Just do it.

*In Quincy market the 3 are still blindfolded but Nick and Madison see the lights all over and a lightly falling snow.*
Madison- OK now. Take them off.
*They take there blindfolds off and see the scenery*
Vida- Wow this is great.
Chip- Ya and its snowing. Its so nice.
Madison- What do you think Xander? I knew you would appreciate the snow.
Xander- Thanks Madison. I will never forget this.
Chip- Ok this is so nice but guys, Its time to decorate the tree.
Nick- Race you home.
*They start to run*

*Back at the house they are stringing the tree and putting up ornaments. Claire then makes a atar appear onthe top of the tree. Nick and Madison areholding hands the whole time.*
Udonna- Done now to plug it in.
Phinneus- Ill do it just let me squeeze through.
*The tree lights up*
Udonna- Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you for all being there when we need you.
Nick- Merry Christmas Maddy.
Madison- Merry Christmas Nick.
*They kiss again*
everyone- AWWWW
Nick- Shut up and lets play some music.
Vida- No problem.
*She plays the music again and everyone starts dancing even fireheart who is outside jammin’.*
