I already have a skeleton plot (for the lack of better term) for a fanfic in PR, but first, I want to know if it's all right, so that I won't have to waste my energy if it's not a good idea.
Power Rangers: Wolf Pack
Famous hunter and trophy collector Cross Scar has traveled many planets, hunting down every wild creature and claiming himself as the Lord of the Hunts. After starting his very own "market" for other space hunters like him, his eyes set forth on the Solar System's Earth. He would hunt down every animal in the planet and add Earth for his collection.
After his failed initial attack thanks to a pack of wolves (which he defeated before fleeing), he hires hunters equipped with Droid reproducers and expansion suit as he recovers and powers up.
One of the wolves is helped by three young adults who are with an outreach program for animals in a nearby forest. After being treated by a vet, the wolf takes them to his den, where he shares his secret about the Inner Wolf secret, the upcoming battle, and the key of being a pack.
HEROES
Christopher Ryans (Chris) is a dog trainer known for his success in producing well-trained canines for the police department. He himself used to work back in the police department with his pet lab, but after a certain crime happened, his best friend (the lab) died saving him. This made him quite the force, but he recovered soon as a dog trainer. He goes by the Grey Wolf Ranger, the leader of the pack.
Alexandra Catherine (Alex) is a Biology student under the Zoology Department of Greenside College. Her interest in animals usually originates from books and trivia she encounters through her life. Outreach programs like animal conservation and other related plans make her studies much easier. This Inner Wolf Spirit makes her curiosity even higher. She goes by the Red Wolf Ranger.
Sheryl Madison enjoys outdoor life more than anything in the world, usually causing some tension between him and Alex. He originally was a triathlete when he decided to stop for a while to take it easy. He soon joined animal protection outreach programs throughout Greenside. He is the Black Wolf Ranger.
Margaret Leslie is a local vet of Greenside. Actually, her parents are also veterinarians as well. Her caring attitude not only towards animals, but to her friends and family as well, makes her stand out. It is her who helped the wolf, and she alone treated the creature. She is the White Wolf Ranger.
Silver is the wolf the four rescued, and soon becomes the mentor of the four. Having to lose his pack from Cross Scar made him lost his own spirit, despite the fact that he could teach the four humans how to commune with it. When he realizes that his pack is well and alive, his spirit is regained and becomes the Silver Wolf Ranger. The ranger form is in human with a wolf helmet like the rest of the team, but Silver states that "it is him and his spirit projecting a body for fighting".

"Lunar spirit, grant me strength!" - Silver

Zords are modeled after wolves.
Wolf Runner - Land-based (wheel) robotic wolf zord for Grey Wolf. Torso of the robot.
Wolf Slider - Land-based (threaded) robotic wolf zord for Red Wolf. Left leg of the robot.
Wolf Flyer - Aerial robotic wolf zord for Black Wolf. Arms of the robot.
Wolf Submariner - Water-based wolf zord for White Wolf. Right leg of the robot.
Moon Wolf Zord = Runner + Slider + Flyer + Submariner.
Silver Fang - Land-based robotic wolf zord for Silver Wolf.
Werewolf Zord = Silver Fang transformed into a battle robot.
Moon Werewolf Zord = Moon Wolf Zord + Werewolf Zord
