Power Rangers Mystic Force - "SPD Emergency"

Chapter One

“FREEZE!” ordered a loud masculine voice. Sky Tate, S.P.D. Red Ranger was ready for trouble if something had to go down. His order froze the intergalactic criminal in its tracks. “You’re under S.P.D. arrest!”

“Put whatever it is you’re holding to the ground!” ordered Syd whilst stepping forward. She powerfully and confidently held out a standard S.P.D. blaster. Syd’s blaster was pinpointed accurately, there was no chance of escape.

The criminal turned around gushing his large purple cape behind him. Syd and Sky frowned in shock, this Alien looked different. In fact they were not sure if it was an Alien at all, he looked accent and powerful. They both hesitated for half a second before walking closer to him.

“Who are you?” asked Syd calmly. She never let her guard down. She continued to hold her blaster up as confidently as before, even though deep down she was frightened.

“I am Imperious, Master of the Underworld!” roared the Monster.

“Imperious?” said Sky innocently. “It doesn’t ring a bell.”

“Come in peacefully!” ordered Syd. It was S.P.D. policy to allow a criminal to come in of free will before using force.

“I don’t think you quite understand how this works. You are not the Hunters, you are the Hunted!” mocked Imperious.

“What are you talking about?” asked Sky in anger. This guy shot nerves up and down his spine, which made Sky feel uncomfortable.

“Ignacio!” roared Imperious. Out of nowhere a large fan appeared in his large hands. The tip of it shone an unusual purple colour. At Imperious’ command Syd and Sky’s bodies both filled with heat. Their weak human bodies were tossed back as sparks burnt their flesh before they came tumbling helplessly to the floor.

“Hey!” shouted a voice in anger. Imperious turned around to see a girl with short brown hair holding a blaster. Imperious noticed she was wearing a similar uniform as the other two.

“Another?” asked Imperious. “Mutra Vento!” commanded Imperious whilst pointing his fan at the girl.

“Z!” roared Bridge whilst knocking her to the floor. Sharp bolts of dark purple lightening shot at Bridge faster than he could of ever imagined. Bridge’s body was over taken by the lightening. It lifted his body up in to the air and overtook his control completely. Imperious guided Bridge around their destination like a puppet. Bridge began to wonder in and out of consciousness as his uniform began to rip helplessly as the force of the lightening was too strong to with stand. Imperious lowered his fan which brought Bridge to the floor. The lightening disappeared but Bridge lay helplessly.


“That’s it!” roared Z. She revealed herself as her body duplicated all around Imperious. “You’re coming in with me!” roared Z while all of her duplicates powered forward with all their might. “Come on girls!”

“Udfus Bethud!” commanded Imperious. All of Z’s duplicates toppled to the floor. It was as though they completely lost their balance. The real Z was the only one left standing. She looked as her squad of duplicates lay helplessly. “I suppose the Hidiacs could use a meal!” said Imperious whilst waving his fan in a circular direction. The bodies of the clones vanished in to the air.

“What the?” said Z with confusion. Nobody can end her duplications but her.

“Your little squad of duplicates will keep the Hidiacs and the Styxoid’s very satisfied!” mocked Imperious. “And as for you my pretty…” said Imperious whilst drawing his fan. “Ignacio!”
At Imperious’ command Z felt her body fill with heat. She felt her skin burning as she toppled violently in to the air. She landed with impact, wounding her arm and her forehead.

“I have what I came for Space Patrol Delta!” roared Imperious. He revealed that he had several crates of platinum diamonds. “These will make a great meal for the Judge!” roared Imperious. He waved his fan and his feet were surrounded by a large purple Symbol.

“No!” roared Z. She found the energy to leap forward and grab on to the body of Imperious. As she does this she felt her presence fade but could still feel the large body of Imperious.

“Z!” roared Syd. She watched her friend disappear in to thin air. “No.” said Syd weakly before falling to her knees and coughing violently.

Chip bounced around Rootcore like a complete maniac. He jumped on, off, over and under anything that stood in the way of his excitement.

“I want evil to attack!” shouted Chip at the top of his lungs. “Legend Warrior power is amazing!”

“Chip, I think you should calm down bud.” said Xander calmly. Xander was as laid back as ever. His feet up with his eyes almost completely closed.

“Leave him alone Xander.” said Madison giggling as she watched Chip prance around.

“Yeah.” said Vida. “The Legend Power is something to celebrate.”

“Just make sure you do not take it for granted.” interrupted Daggeron. “There is no such thing as unstoppable power remember?”

“Rangers!” called Udonna.

They all gathered around the crystal ball as it projected an image of something gushing through the sky at incredible speeds.

“What in the world is that?” asked Madison in fear.

“It looks like a comet.” said Chip in hesitation.

“We have to stop it!” said Daggeron. “There’s not much time!”

The Rangers aligned themselves and drew their Morphers.

“Magical source!” they called. “Mystic Force!”

The Rangers flipped in to action and landed in the Briarwood Park. They looked up as they saw the giant ball of fire approaching them at high speeds.

“What do we do?” asked Chip.

“I have an idea.” said Madison whilst drawing her Magi Staff. “Water power!” she commanded whilst pointing the staff at the flaming ball of fire. From the tip of her magical weapon, litres and litres of water came flowing out at high speeds with top pressure.

“It’s not working!” shouted Chip.

“Get down!” roared Daggeron whilst jumping to the floor.
The flaming ball of fire came soaring to the ground and created a miniature sonic boom. A lot of smoke was created from the impact.

Daggeron tired to see through the thick smoke but had no luck. A bright purple glow caught his attention.

“Finishio!” ordered Daggeron whilst getting to his feet. With the command of Daggeron the smoke vanished in to the air revealing Imperious to be standing before them holding on to a helpless girl by the arm.

“Imperious!” shouted Daggeron with instinct.

“Power Rangers?” asked Z. She was disorientated from travelling through the Space Time Continuum but she knew what was in front of her. “Get off of me creep!” ordered Z whilst escaping Imperious’ grip.

“S.P.D. Emergency!” shouted Z at the top of her lungs. She pressed the button on the tip of her S.P.D. licence and her body was overtaken by a bright yellow light. Her transformation was complete.

“Four, S.P.D. Yellow!” roared Z.

“Not another Power Ranger!” cursed Imperious.

“Whoa.” said Vida in shock. “Cool costume.”

“Delta Striker!” shouted Z whilst pulling out a yellow Baton. She forward rolled and slashed Imperious directly across the chest creating smoke and sparks.

“Ha!” roared Z with adrenalin as she slashed Imperious from head to toe with her Baton.

Imperious toppled to the ground but recovered quickly.

“So it looks like you do have power after all.” said Imperious whilst pointing at Z. “But your power is useless here, you will never return to your home!”

“What’re you talking about?!” asked Z with concern. “Where are the others?!”

“In the year 2025!” mocked Imperious before vanishing in to an array of purple light.

“No!” called Z holding out her arm. She fell to her knees.

“Hey.” said Madison whilst placing her hand on to Z’s shoulder. Z turned around to see the Blue Ranger before her very eyes.

“Who are you?” asked Z quietly. Madison noticed that the Yellow Power Ranger was very shaken. She obviously had no idea of what had gone on.

Madison’s suit began to glow before it disappeared in to flecks of baby blue magic. Madison gave a smile to the disorientated Yellow Ranger.

“Power down.” ordered Z. Her suit shattered in to yellow light and vanished off of her body, similar to how Madison’s did.

Vida placed her hands comfortable on her own hips and sighed with confusion.

“Just another day at the office.” she said sarcastically.

“Guys!” shouted Xander. He pointed at a herd of Hidiacs approaching at top speed.

“Come on!” shouted Madison. She pulled Z to her feet and ran in the other direction.

“Run Madison!” ordered Daggeron whilst drawing his Laser Lamp. “These guys are ours.”

“Fire!” ordered Vida. Her Magi Staff threw tones of gushing winds at the Hidiacs. The force of Vida’s attack lifted the front line of Hidiacs off of their feet and threw them backwards.

“Magi Staff Striker!” ordered Nick. His Staff turned in to a sword. Nick swished his sword before charging directly at the Hidiacs.

“Power of the Phoenix!” roared Nick whilst taking off in to the air. His body was overtaken by flames. Fire balls game colliding down knocking the Hidiacs off of their feet. Nick landed and slashed half a dozen of Hidiacs to the ground.

“Obviously Imperious doesn’t get the message.” said Chip. “Crossbow!” he commanded whilst jumping in to the air. The remaining Hidiacs were threw backwards by a storm of yellow lightening.

“Jenji’s shining attack!” commanded Daggeron whilst pressing the activation key on his Lamp. Jenji fired forward and caused an explosion burning the Hidiacs ruthlessly. All that was left after the attack was the dust of fallen Hidiacs.

“Where’s Xander?” asked Nick curiously.

“Xander?!” called Vida with concern. “What could of happened?” she asked.

“Who are you?” asked Madison politely. Her and Z were sat on public benches.

“I’m Z Delgado.” she said sternly. “S.P.D. officer and Ranger.”

“S.P.D.?” asked Madison nervously.

“You’re kidding, right?” asked Z in surprise.

The look on Madison’s face answered Z’s rhetorical question.

“Where am I?” asked Z nervously. “This isn’t my home.”

“This is Briarwood.” said Madison shrugging. She had no clue of what was going on herself.

“Do you know that guy? Impetuous?” asked Z.

“Imperious.” corrected Madison.

“I’ll take that as a yes then.” she said with out hope.

“He’s the general of the Dark Magic underworld…” said Madison nervously.

“Dark Magic?” asked Z nervously. Z has seen a lot of weird things in her times as an officer but never anything mystical.

Z looked down to the floor and noticed a sheet of newspaper that had been littered. The date told her it was only the year 2006.

“What year are we in?” asked Z. She knew how pathetic that question sounded.

“2006.” said Madison sternly.

“I’m from the year 2025!” shouted Z whilst getting to her feet. “Imperious was in our time, he had stolen some diamonds and it was our mission to get him back.”

“Did he get the diamonds?” asked Madison.

“Would I be covered in cuts and bruises if he didn’t?” she asked rhetorically. “He said he was going to feed them to the Judge, does that ring a bell to you?”

“No, but he sounds mystical.” stated Madison. Madison got to her feet and looked in to the eyes of Z.

“I promise you, we will get you back to your own time; but first we may need some information to try to get to the bottom of Imperious’ plan, okay?”

“Okay!” roared a voice. Z and Madison both heard a cackle. They turned to the direction of were the sound came from. Imperious was standing before them.

“You have never heard of The Judge?” asked Imperious rhetorically. “He is the Judge of Dark Magic, anything that uses Light Magic will be drained of their magic before him.”

“Why diamonds Imperious?” asked Maddy. “Why the year 2025?”

“Because they have resources beyond your imagination little girl!” mocked Imperious. “I would like you to meet a little friend of mine!”

Imperious swirled his fan in a circular direction. A dark mystical spell seal appeared on the concrete before Madison and Z. Out of it raised a beast that was clearly unstoppable. He was so well built, his power could be sensed from a mile away.

“Meet the Judge of Dark Magic!” mocked Imperious!

“Prepare to be Judged!” said the Beast.

Hedister, great work, my friend. This really drew me in immediately. It was a fun read. I like the set up.

One suggestion...describe the Judge a little more. I was able to picture everything that happened in the story (bravo) except for him. Of course, you may have had that planned for a later chapter anyway ;). Is that his picture in the banner?

Again, great work. Definitely caught my interest.

Koragg DX thanks for your compliment dude. Haha, no Z and Madison will not be getting it on in that sense but there is a specific reason I picked her to unite with Madison. It will become more obvious as more Chapter’s are published.

I liked this story; the details you used were great. I haven't seen many episodes of Mystic Force, but I'm a huge fan of Space Patrol Delta, so that made this story more enjoyable. I love crossovers, keep it up!

Okay, hey everybody. Sorry for the late post but I've had some personal problems. Enjoy.

Chapter 2

“What in the world?” asked Z. “Judged? What do you mean?”

“We need to get out of here!” shouted Madison in fear.

“Why?!” asked Z in anger. “He’s evil, we stop him!”

“We don’t know what he’s capable of!” stated Madison. “Look at that weaponry!”

Z analysed the Judge ever so specifically. She noticed his furious red eyes, the purple spell seal situated on his left peck and the hundreds of missiles situated above both of his shoulders. Z realised that Madison had a point, they needed to get out of there and fast.

“The symbol!” shouted Madison whilst pointing at the Judge.

Z noticed the seal beginning to glow on his chest. It was Z’s instinct to run but she could not find the power in her legs. Her eyes turned colour for a fraction of a second as she became lost in the Dark Magic Spell seal on the Judge’s chest.

“Z!” shouted Madison. “Can you hear me?”

Z did not respond. As the seconds went on she became more lost in the seal. It was though she was under hypnosis.

Madison shrugged, she had no idea what to do. She stepped forward to shake Z in an attempt to bring her back to consciousness but a thunderous force field surrounded her body. Madison felt as though she was abandoning Z but she had to get out of there.

“Come to me Blue Ranger!” ordered Imperious. He pointed his fan at her and approached her in a very hypnotic manner. Imperious touched Madison’s hair, he began to stroke it and brush it with his fingers.

“Get off of her!” shouted a voice. Xander heroically came gliding in with his axe directly above his head. Landing smoothly he trusted his Axe in to the ground creating a surge of green mystical energy. Imperious was knocked off of his feet.

“Get him!” ordered Imperious.

The judge turned around and opened the palm of his hand. In the process, he lost control over Z.

Whilst on the floor Imperious drew his fan and created a teleportation seal. Madison’s body vanished in to thin air as did the symbol.

“Maddy!” shouted Xander.

“She is the least of your worries, child.” said the Judge heartlessly.

His palm began to glow. At the command of the Judge, Xander’s protection costume powered down.

“What the?” said Xander in confusion.

“JUDEMENT!” ordered the Judge. The spell seal on his chest began to spark vigorously. Xander’s eyes shone as he was levitated in to the air. Shadows of purple energy surrounded the body of Xander who was helplessly being controlled and harnessed in to the air.

The fury in the Judge’s eyes eased. His palm stopped glowing and the Shadow’s of energy stop surrounding the helpless green ranger. Xander, who was levitating moments before was lying helplessly on the floor wearing nothing but his boxer shorts. His cloths had been torn apart, but his skin was pale and flushed.

“He has been Judged.” said the Judge emotionlessly. “What about her?” said the Judge sternly.
“Judge her!” said Imperious who threw Z to the floor.

The Judge opened his palm but then immediately lowered it.

“She has no magical blood. This one is pure.” said the Judge.

“WHAT?! Drain her life force!” ordered Imperious.

“She is not a threat to the order of Dark Magic, she will not harmed.” said the Judge whilst vanishing in to think air.

“The fool.” he said whilst picking Z up by the neck once again. “Do not worry, your destruction will come.” he said vanishing in to the air.

Nobody was there to take care of Xander, who lay there almost naked and completely dead to the world. He had paid the price of facing the legendary Judge of Dark Magic.

“Sir, there is no status report on Z’s location. She is not on the planet.” said Doctor Kat Manx walking away from a number of monitors.

“We need to find her Kat, she is one of our best.” said Doggie sternly. “I’m not loosing hope, she’s tough.”

“Sir, you didn’t see this guy…” said Sky pausing. “He was…different.”

“As different as he is, he is still an S.P.D. threat and that means I’m not giving up until he comes in.”

“How is Bridge?” said Sydney. She was extremely concerned. She saw the attack the Bridge took, he saved Z.

“He’s still unconscious.” said Kat quietly. “His body cells seem to have been altered. There are a number of negative test results that I can not make sense of.”

“What does that mean?” said Sydney with concern.

“I don’t know exactly.” said Kat. “Whatever energy the attack was made up of, it was different.”

“I’m going back to the scene.” said Sky. “I’ll see what I can dish out.

“I’m coming with you.” said Syd.

“Be careful rangers.” said Doggie. “We’re at our weakest.”

The two nodded with determination whilst thrusting their arms to the right. They were both dismissed. Sky and Syd both walked down the S.P.D. corridors side by side.

“I’m going to find him Sky, this Mummy guy.” said Sydney.

“We will Syd.” said Sky, reassuring her.

“When I find him, he is going to pay for messing with Z.” she said. “Do you understand? I give you my word, when I find this thing I am going to hurt it.” Syd stormed ahead of Sky.

Sky sighed and picked up his speed to catch up with the determined Pink Ranger.

“Xander!” shouted Nick a the top of his lungs. He ran to the side of his half naked friend and supported his head.

“What in the world happened?” asked Vida. “Look at his skin colour, he is so pale.”

“We still have to find Madison.” said Chip quietly.

“Oh no!” said Vida. “What if he’s done this to Maddy?”

“Daggeron, what could have done this?” asked Nick curiously.

“I have got no idea.” he said. “I don’t think it was Imperious, this isn‘t his style.” Daggeron pulled out his Solar Cell Morpher and stamped one of his magical tickets.

Vida looked high up in to the sky and admired how beautiful the clouds looked as the golden energy changed their colours. Out of the sky came the mighty Solar Streak Train. It landed comfortably on the floor with out making any noise from impact. Its doors automatically opened and the other rangers got on board.

Nick picked up Xander and carried him on board of the Solar Streak. Nick placed his friend comfortably on to a passenger seat and stroked his hair. Looking in to the closed eyes of Xander Bly, Nick released just how concerned he was about his friend Xander.

Nick removed the cape off of his uniform and placed it comfortably over the bare body of Xander in an effort to keep him warm.

“Get him some help Daggeron.” Nick said whilst stepping off Solar Streak.

“Where are you going?” asked Vida curiously.

“I’m going to find Madison.” he said.

“I’m coming with you!” shouted Vida.

“No.” said Nick sternly. “Take care of Xander. I’ll bring Madison home.”

Nick and Vida looked in to each others eyes and nodded with determination.

The doors of the Solar Streak closed and broke their eye contact. The Solar Streak began to hover and gust off in to the air. Nick watched it vanish high in to the sky and sighed.

“What am I going to do?” he asked himself rhetorically.

“I could tell you.” said a dark voice.

Nick turned around to see Koragg standing tall, holding on to his shield and sword.

“You!” said Nick in surprise and anger.

“Hey!” whispered Z. She shook the body of the fallen blue ranger.

“What?” said Madison whilst sitting up. She was still disorientated.

“We need to get out of here, quickly.” said Z with concern.

“Don’t panic, we will.” said Madison trying to keep moral high.

Madison’s eyes shot open like bullets as she remembered the previous situation they were in together.

“Xander!” she shouted. “Did you see? Did you see?”

“The Judge…he drained Xander. Left his body to rot.” said Z quietly.

“What?” said Madison whilst falling to her feet. She felt how cold the concrete of the underworld layer was. A small tear poured down the cheek of Madison who thought about nothing but her friend.

“Hey?” said Z catching the attention of the emotionally crushed Madison.

Madison looked in to the eyes of Z who seemed more confident than before.

“How about we get out of here?” she asked rhetorically whilst holding up her S.P.D. licence and transformer.

Madison wiped her tear and nodded fiercely. Madison reached in to her pocket and pulled out his Mystic Morpher.

“It’s powerless down here.” said Madison. “Good magic is banished, I’m practically a mortal here.”

“At least that means the Judge can’t drain you.” said Z.

“Good thinking.” said Madison. “At least that’s positive. I wouldn’t have realised that.” said Madison giving the Yellow Ranger praise.

“When you’ve been with S.P.D. as long as I have you learn to put the pieces together.” she said proudly.

“I’ll try my best to help you.” said Madison. “I can still fight until I take my last breath.”

“There’s no last breath on my watch.” Z said with determination. “Let’s do this.” she said.

“Tell me!” ordered Nick. He was feeling ruthless and ready for anything at the moment . He had lost two comrades in a short amount of time, and would do anything to get them back. This is what he believed being Red Ranger was all about.

“I don’t think you’re in any position to be giving orders.” mocked Koragg. “In fact I think I should be making the orders!”

“Shut up and make them!” demanded Nick. Nick was breathing heavily. He was tired physically and mentally but that was not going to stop him from getting both of his friends back.

“We fight. If you win, I will tell you what you need to know.” said Koragg calmly. “If I win you surrender your Legendary Powers to me.”

“Deal!” roared Nick whilst drawing his Mystic Morpher. “LEGENDAR-”

“Wait!” ordered Koragg. “No Legend Warrior power is to be used in this fight.”

“WHAT?!” responded Nick.

“You heard me, do you accept?” asked Koragg with out any sign of emotion.

“I accept.” said Nick whilst activating his Mystic Morpher. Very quickly, he pressed the 1, 2 and 3 keys upon the Magical Device. With in seconds his body had been struck by a glowing red mystical energy. His body was ignited with flames, he could feel the power surging through his blood; causing it to boil.
“Excellent.” said Koragg whilst drawing his sword.

Nick drew his Magi Staff and transformed it in to Sword mode. He leaped up in to the air slashing Koragg’s right shoulder. As the sparks overtook Koragg’s shoulder pads, Nick managed to flip high up in to the air and released a spell seal that completely overtook Koragg’s body. His feet were bound by the Red Mystic Force Spell Seal. Koragg could not move.

Nick landed swiftly. He pointed his sword directly at Koragg before taking a large breath.

“What have you done to Xander?!” asked Nick. “Tell me!”

“This was not part of the deal!” roared Koragg. He began to groan in a struggle and broke through the spell seal.

“Impossible!” cried in Nick in shock.

Nick attempted to slash Koragg with his sword but before Nick had the chance Koragg had sent a full powered Wolf Attack directly for him. As the attack collided with the ground the concrete shattered and Nick was tossed up high above the air, defying all rules of nature and science.

“Galwit Mysto Prifior!” ordered Nick whilst toppling through the air. Another Spell Seal overtook his body, increasing his power and strength on a physical, physiological and mystical level. Nick had transformed in to the Mystic Phoenix and was looking down on the warrior he was in battle with.

“How do you like me now?” mocked Nick before drawing his sword.

“I like it a lot Red Wizard!” replied Koragg with out hesitation. Koragg placed his sword comfortably back in to his shield and chuckled to himself quietly.

Koragg placed his sword comfortably back in to his shield and held out his palm. He gathered his spiritual energy and was ready to call upon Catastros. With in seconds Koragg’s noble chariot had appeared.

Nick watched as Koragg combined with the legendary horse to become the Centaurus Wolf Megazord.

“Your move.” said Koragg calmly whilst drawing his large weapon.

Nick looked down over the city and noticed all the commotion him and Koragg were causing. People were running as fast as they could and cars were driving in the opposite directions.

“There’s too many people!” shouted Nick. “Have you no honour?!”

“I have all the honour a warrior can have.” explained Koragg. “These people are in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

“You beast!” roared Nick whilst charging forward with his sword. Koragg saw Nick’s attack coming and collided his weapon with the Mystic Phoenix’s chest. Nick tossed back and landed harshly. He could feel the concrete underneath his body crack and shatter.

“Behold the eye of the Master.” ordered Koragg whilst summoning a Dark Spell Seal.

Nick got to his feet and his eyes began to glow a bright green with determination and strength.

“Behold the power of good magic!” ordered Nick. He began to swirl his arms in a circular direction and as he did this a Mystic Spell Seal appeared.

“Interesting.” said Koragg genuinely.

Koragg used all his might to slash through his Spell Seal and send its darkness through to Nick. Nick did the same with his spell seal. With in moments the seals collided and threw both warriors off balance. Their bodies were overtaken by the lights created by their mystical energy. When the lights faded both warriors had powered back in to their bodies.

“That is the strength I am wanting to see!” said Koragg whilst getting to his feet. He drew his sword and charged for Nick. Koragg was charging with all of his might when all of a sudden he came to a halt.

“What have you done Imperious?!” asked Koragg.

Nick frowned whilst inside of his helmet.

The floor in front of Koragg began to glow and out of it came a vicious beast. Nick was shocked at how furious the beast looked.

“I am Lord Magnos.” said the beast. “Where is he?!”

Nick held his sword across his chest to be ready if the beast attacked. Nick noticed that the beast was staring directly at him, which sent shivers up his spine. Nick noticed the thick black armour covering Lord Magnos’ body. Nick counted ten horns growing from the head of Magnos and noticed that his eyes were filled with fury and rage.

“There you are Mystic One!” he said. “In the name of Master your head will be on my sword!”

Hedister, you're keeping up a very good pace on this story. Things are constantly moving without much downtime and you're not losing any of the plot along the way. Bravo on that. Good job. I liked the inclusion of Koragg here. Nice confrontation between him & Nick.

Also, the Judge didn't "drain Z's life force"...sounds like another honorable warrior. Definitely fits with the Mystic Force themes. Keep up the good work :023:

Hey guys, sorry about yet another delay. I have a lot going on at the moment. This Chapter is not as long but quite a lot happens so its good that there is not too many words to put you off of the story. Enjoy, and thanks for the FFotM nominations! xXXx

Chapter 3

“Bingo!” shouted Syd in excitement. Her S.P.D. licence had picked up on a hot spot were Imperious and Z teleported from.

“You got a signal?” asked Sky in surprise.

“It looks like.” said Sydney whilst frowning with confusion.

“What’s the Matter?” asked Sky noticing Sydney’s sudden change in reaction.

“The energy…its different.” said Sydney sternly. “Look.” she said whilst handing Sky her licence.

Sky frowned and took out his own licence. He pressed the top button and dialled the command centre contact button.

“Sky Tate reporting in.” he said.

“Go for Kat.” said the voice of Dr. Manx from Sky’s licence.

“Kat, we found a hot spot.” said Sky sternly. “Can you get here?”

“Why me?” asked Kat in surprise. “I’ll send down the science team.”

“No Kat.” insisted Sky. “We need you.” Sky closed his licence, not giving Kat a chance to respond.

“Put your hand here Sky.” said Sydney whilst on her knees.

Sky bent down and came to Sydney’s level. He placed his hand in mid-air next were Sydney was positioned.

“It feels hot…” said Sky. “This can definitely be decrypted.”

“Hold on Z.” said Sydney with determination. “We’re coming.”

“You’re under arrest!” roared the S.P.D. Yellow Ranger. Z had transformed in to S.W.A.T Mode and was keeping the Judge with in her sight.

“Stop.” said the Judge calmly. “You have no magical blood, you will not be harmed.”

“And what about her?” said Z pointing to Madison who was stood safely behind the transformed Yellow Ranger.

“Her soul will be burnt and her humanity will devour before me.”

“No!” roared Z firing her Delta Enforcer. A Golden beam shot out at high speeds and collided with the Judge’s chest. He did not flinch which struck fear in the heart of the S.P.D. Officer.

“Foolish child.” said the Judge whilst stepping down from the large palladium of the underworld. He stepped forward and grabbed Z by the neck. He lifted her up with out effort and harnessed her body high in to the air with out breaking a sweat.

Madison stood behind the two in battle, powerless. Madison could hear Z’s gasps for breath, each one sent an order to her heart. Madison could hear herself telling her to protect Z, but Madison could not move.

“Excellent!” said Imperious whilst walking through the Gates of the Underworld. “You finally decided to grow a pair.”

“Do not mock me, Mummy.” said the Judge whilst letting go of Z. Her body toppled to the floor helplessly.

“You’re the Judge of Dark Magic!” roared Imperious. “You should devour!”

“I devour those who use Good Magic.” he explained. “Those not born of magical blood will not be harmed.”

He looked down at Z who was coughing and being assisted to balance by Madison. He shook his head in pity and walked out of the main pit.

“I have an idea.” said Imperious. “Necrolai!”

Necrolai power walked through to the Throne was Imperious sat. She got down on one knee and pledged her elegance to her general.

“Take these two to the surface.” said Imperious. “Take the Judge with you.”

“At once Imperious.” she said whilst getting to her feet. Necrolai drew both of her wings and charged at Z and Madison. She hooked them up effortlessly and flew out of the pit holding on to the Blue and Yellow Ranger.

Nick helplessly defied all rules of gravity as he span through the air at three hundred and sixty degrees on every turn.

“Take this!” ordered Lord Magnos whilst positioning his hands in a circular position. At once a harsh ray of silver light hit Nick’s body that was cycling through the air. With in a millisecond Nick’s body completely came to a halt in the air. His body was out of his own control, he could do nothing but let Lord Magnos have his way.

“What are you doing?” asked Koragg with concern. “He is helpless Magnos!”

“I am draining his Ranger power!” replied Magnos whilst continuing to cast the spell.

Meanwhile, on the Solar Streak train that was travelling though the Sky. Daggeron was at the side of the fallen Green Ranger. Jenji was driving.

Daggeron looked down at his drained student. Daggeron frowned as he noticed something on the neck of Xander. He pulled back the cloak covering his naked body which revealed a think Tattoo on his neck. The tattoo was of a Dark Magic Spell seal.

“What is that?” asked Vida with concern. She knew it was the Dark Magic logo but wanted to know what it way doing there.

“It obviously has something to do with the spell Xander fell before.” explained Daggeron.

“And who is this Judge guy?” asked Chip in demand.

“The Judge is the darkest of the dark.” explained Daggeron. He looked in to the eyes of his remaining pupils Vida and Chip before continuing his explanation. “He was once human, a Warlock in fact.”

“What happened?” asked Vida.

“He died.” explained Daggeron. “His followers could not bare to live with out him. So they cast a forbidden spell to harness his spirit and place it in to the body of what we see today.”
“Cool!” shouted Chip. He then realised how ridicules he sounded. “Not cool.”

“The Judge only can only cast his spells if his new body is fully powered up.” said Daggeron whilst placing his hand on Xander’s forehead.

“It usually doesn’t take this long to get to Rootcore…” said Vida in wonder.

“We aren’t going to Rootcore…” said Daggeron.

Chip frowned and turned to face Vida who was also frowning.

“Where are we going?” asked Chip.

“The future.” said Daggeron.

“Look at what I have!” roared Necrolai whilst landing on a rooftop. She kept a firm grip of the Yellow S.P.D. and the Blue Mystic Ranger in her right and left hands.

“Hag!” roared Koragg at the sight of Necrolai.

The Judge walked forwards and stood confidently next to Necrolai on the rooftop.

“I have come for you.” said the Judge. “Red Ranger.”

“He is mine Judge!” roared Magnos.

“Imperious has had a change of plan.” said the Judge. “Return the boys magic.”

Lord Magnos clicked his fingers and with this Nick fell to the floor, de-morphing in the process.

“I will be back!” roared Magnos whilst vanishing in to the air.

“You’re mine!” roared the Judge whilst loading his weaponry that was placed comfortably on his shoulders. “Fire!” he ordered. And with this hundreds of missiles came pouring out of his weaponry storage and were heading straight for Nick.

Stepping forward Koragg placed his shield in front of the fallen Red Ranger. The missiles were through off course by Koragg who sent a wolf attack directly at the exploding bombs of fire.

“What are you doing?!” asked Necrolai in shock.

“Uthe Sastos!” commanded Koragg. With this, himself and Nick fell through a dark magic spell seal.

“The coward.” said the Judge. “Don’t worry. We still have their friends.” The Judge wrapped his fingers around the neck of the Blue Ranger. He held her tight high in to the air.

“Maddy!” shouted Z before being pulled back by Necrolai.

“2 down.” said the Judge. “4 to go!”

“The future?!” shouted Chip and Vida at the same time.

“The future is the only place with the resources to harness enough power to keep the Judge going.” explained Daggeron. “I fear Imperious has been here already…”

“And if he has?” asked Chip quietly.

“We’re in more trouble that we could dream.” he said.

“Trouble?” said Xander whilst sitting up.

“Xander!” shouted Vida in joy. She hugged him tight as he was still laying down on the Solar Streak seats.

“Ouch.” said Xander. He placed his hand on to his neck, directly were the tattoo is situated.

“Welcome back.” said Daggeron. “How do you feel?”

“Weak.” said Xander sternly. “I have no magic.”

“Udonna come in.” said Daggeron whilst approaching a crystal ball in the corner of the train.

“Yes Daggeron?” responded Udonna. Her image was projected in the orange sphere that shone a wonderful glow.

“We are heading off to the future, I am afraid Imperious has called upon the Judge.” explained Daggeron sternly.

“How is everything on your side of town?” asked Udonna with concern.

“Xander has been Judged, but he is with me.” said Daggeron. “Nick is fighting Koragg as we speak and Madison has been held hostage.”

“Have you heard from Nick?” asked Vida with concern. “Maddy has been taken hostage with Z.”

“Z?” asked Udonna curiously.

“Oh, the new yellow Ranger!” said Chip stepping forward.

“Space Patrol Delta.” said Daggeron. “Does it ring any bells?”

“None.” said Udonna simply.

“A spell seal tattoo has appeared on Xander’s neck too.” explained Daggeron. “Can you see if you can find anything about the tattoo and S.P.D.?”

“Of course.” said Udonna.

“Be careful.” said Daggeron. “Peace be with you.”

“And with you…” said Udonna before vanishing off of the crystal ball.

“What Tattoo?” asked Clare who once again had appeared out of no-where.

“The Tattoo of Judgment.” said Udonna whilst preparing her caldron.

“But…I thought you said you didn’t know anything?” asked Clare curiously.

“The Tattoo is a sign of chaos.” explained Udonna. “Xander is in grave danger, as is any other creature who is judged.”

“Xander…” said Clare whilst facing the crystal ball. She should still see his image projected on the mystical sphere. She touched it and as she did the image of Xander’s face faded.

“No!” she cried before falling to her knees.

“What in the world is that?” asked Sydney whilst looking up in to the air. She shielded her eyes from the suns rays with the palm of her hands.

“Wow.” said Kat.

The Red and Pink S.P.D. rangers frowned. They had never seen Kat lost for words before. Yet they had never seen a train floating towards them.

Crash. The train landed not so smoothly this time and the door opened. As the doors opened a small staircase dropped and four humans came walking out. One appeared to be limping, battered bruised and barley clothed.

“Hey.” said Syd bluntly.

“They have Z’s uniform!” shouted Chip in recognition.

“Z?!” shouted Syd in shock. “You’ve seen her?!”

“Who the hell are you?” asked Sky whilst frowning. He did not like the look of this.

“We’re the Power Rangers.” explained Chip.

“No, we’re…” said Sky.

“S.P.D.” said Daggeron whilst walking forward. “We know. Your ranger is in our time…”

“Your time?” asked Kat frowning. “Of course!” shouted Kat whilst turning around and dropping to her knees. “A portal.”

“Has Imperious been here?” asked Vida sternly. “Mummy that wears stilettos and a big purple cape?”

“Bingo.” said Sky whilst smiling at Syd.

“This is incredible.” said Sydney. She sounded so innocent to Daggeron, although it was her inner child speaking. To Daggeron flying around in a Mystical Train is nothing new, in fact it was his almost in his job description as the Solaris Knight.

“I’m still not convinced…” said Sky whilst sat on a chair comfortably. “We have done time travel before, but it has been backed up with scientific facts…not magical fairytales.”

“He doesn’t believe.” said Jenji quietly down Daggeron’s ear.

“He will.” said Daggeron bluntly. “I have faith in every new comer.”

Jenji shook his head in doubt, but never let Daggeron see this. He was offended by Sky’s close mindedness though he realised that Nick himself was a none believer. With this he sat comfortably next to Sky and placed his paw on his shoulder. No words were exchanged but signs of trust were shown between them both.

“Daggeron!” roared Vida in an attempt to get his attention. “Xander!”

Daggeron ran swiftly down the isle of Solar Streak to his fallen student. Daggeron ruffled Xander’s hair and sighed.

“Hang in there.” said Daggeron under his breath.

“Udonna…” said Chip under his breath. His words were a prayer, that Udonna had the answers. Though Xander was stable, the Tattoo was obviously dangerous or it would not be there. Chip often thinks that people ignore him and take him as the idiot of the group. People do not notice he sees these things because nobody is watching him.

“Sleep.” said Daggeron whilst placing his palm on Xander’s pec. With Daggeron’s command Xander struggled in an attempt to fight the spell, but gracefully he dosed off like a baby.

“He is in danger Rangers, we need to get back quickly.”

“What is going on?” demanded Sky. “What did you just do to him? Are you lot on drugs?”

“Hey, buddy.” said Vida whilst approaching him aggressively. “Shut the hell up, and let us do our jobs.”

“How dare you?” asked Sky rhetorically with offence. “You’re talking to an S.P.D. officer.”

“Maybe, but this is my time.” said Vida confidently. “S.P.D. is nothing but a hole in wall at the present moment in time, so now…you’re on my territory.”

“Where are we Koragg?” asked Nick whilst getting to his feet. “Why did you save me?!”

“You’re no match for the Judge, he will judge you like he judged your friend.”

“But why did you save me?” asked Nick calmly. He was grateful but confused. Was this part of a bigger plan?

“You were out numbered. There is no honour in that.” explained Koragg.

“The Judge may seem honourable but he is not.” explained Koragg whilst placing his sword in to his shield. “He will destroy anything that uses Light Magic, under any methods. That is not honour.”

“What is it?” asked Nick.

“Hatred.” said Koragg whilst vanishing in to the air.

Nick drew his Mystic Morpher and dialled the Rootcore contact code, but there was strangely no answer.

“Damnit.” said Nick whilst drawing his phone in to wand mode. “Galwit Mysto Aroetan.”

His trusty Mystic Racer was at his side with in seconds. He hopped on and took off at full speed, there was not much time. Especially for Madison, and Nick had several promises to keep.

“Help!” called Madison. Z was being held back by Necrolai. All Z could do was watch Madison, the Blue Mystic Ranger being harnessed over the rooftop.

“Prepare to be Judge.” roared the Judge with a voice filled with rage and death.

“I was gonna say that!” shouted a blonde woman toppling out of the Sky. She was gripping tightly on to a small white hand blaster. As she landed Z’s eyes shot open behind her S.P.D. helmet.

“Syd!” shouted Z.

Syd turned around immediately as she recognised the voice. She shot Necrolai with her trusty hand blaster which phased her for several moments.

“You wench!” roared Necrolai whilst pushing Z out of the way. Z jumped off of the rooftop and landed swiftly. Necrolai continued to charge at Sydney.

“Fist of iron!” ordered Sydney. With this, her right fist that was clenched ever so tightly became solid iron. “You want to go?”

Necrolai stopped all of a sudden.

“A simple spell.” said Necrolai.

“She is not born of magical blood.” he said whilst turning around. With this, he let go of Madison and sent her tumbling to the floor.

“S.P.D. Emergency!” ordered Sydney. She trusted her transformer directly in front of her and her body was overtaken by a Pink Glow. Before the very eyes of Necrolai and the Judge stood the confident, powerful and determined Pink Ranger.

“Delta striker!” roared Sydney’s whilst drawing her S.P.D. baton. “I can take you both out with this thing.”

“Don’t count on it!” shouted Madison whilst flipping through the air. Her blue cape gracefully floated behind her as she tossed her body forwards whilst holding out her Magi Staff. Madison cut Necrolai from head to toe, sending her body sparkling through the air.

“Come to me, Witch!” ordered the Judge.

“You can call me Z!” shouted the brave Yellow Ranger whilst leaping in to the air catching the Judge’s attention. Her Delta Enforcer was fully charged and ready to go. In fact that is what it did. Several beams of bright yellow energy filled with positively charged protons damaged the shoulder pad of the Judge.

“Water power!” commanded Madison. With her order, her Magi Staff began to glow and send beams of revealing light at the Judge. With in seconds, the beams of light transformed in to oceans of water that completely knocked the Judge off balance. He helplessly was pushed back and toppled down the building they stood tall on.

“Down you go.” mocked Z as she held Necrolai by the neck.

“I don’t think so.” said Necrolai whilst drawing her wings. Z stepped back as she was surprised by the wings that Necorlai had at her disposal. Necorlai gracefully hovered in to the air and took off at high speeds.

“Damn.” said the hopeless Madison.

“Not so damn.” said Z whilst turning a switch on the side of her helmet. Immediately, Z’s sight was enlightened by a bright yellow light that revealed Necrolai’s exactly position.

“Stupid crow.” said Z whilst calmly pressing the button on her Delta Enforcer. The girls on the rooftop heard a loud cry as they saw a blur fall down from high above the sky in the distance.

“Look!” said Syd whilst pointing downwards. Vida, Chip, Daggeron and Sky were in battle with Lord Magnos who must have been watching all this time. The Judge was getting to his feet.

“There’s no time.” said Madison. “Finishio!” At her command the girls teleported to the bottom of building and began to charge in to battle.

“Hidiacs!” roared the Judge. From all directions the Judge watched his followers charge for the Rangers.

“Uh-oh.” said Syd simply.

“Do not let them bite you, they will rip you apart.” said Daggeron. “They’re scavengers, they will try eat through your armour!”

“Rip me apart?” said Syd whilst placing her hand on to her helmet. “But I have a fabulous complexion.”

“A typical Sydney Anna Drew response…” said Z whilst powering down in to her regular mode. “S.W.A.T. gear will be too heavy for this.”

“Agreed.” said Sky whilst drawing his Combo Blasters.

“Charge!” ordered Daggeron.

I think you meant she 'pledged her allegiance.' And it should be 'where Imperious sat.'

Koragg must have a really big shield to be able to stop hundreds of missiles with it :)

Overall the writing is good. I like the story itself, please continue.
