Morphing Grid Profile For Jason Scott
Jason Scott had just turned sixteen years old when one day an earthquake struck the town of Angel Grove. It was shortly after that when he was called upon, along with his four friends, Zack Taylor, Kimberly Hart, Billy Cranston, and Trini Kwan to save the world by Zordon, an inter-galactic being caught in a time warp. Given devices known as Power Morphers, it allowed the five teenagers transform into a superhuman fighting force that would become known to one and all as the Power Rangers.
In his civilian life, Jason was a talented martial artist with a strong will and a mellow personality. In his Ranger life, he was the Red Ranger, leader of the Power Rangers. Jason took his role as leader very seriously and led the team to numerous victories against the evil forces of Rita Repulssa and eventually Lord Zedd. But the task was not always easy. The two villains did their best to test his leadership and fighting ability by often singling him out with their attacks, forcing him to sacrifice his powers, and bringing his worst fear to life, which was the destruction of his friends. Still Jason endured, and even with the arrival of the White Ranger and the role of leader being given to him, the entire team still looked to him for guidance.
The most difficult decision Jason ever had to make was to leave the Power Rangers in 1995 after being selected to attend a peace conference in Switzerland along with Trini and Zack. He knew, however, he was leaving the team in capable hands in the form of Tommy Oliver, the former Green Ranger and then White Ranger.
Jason would return a few years later to hold the powers of the Gold Ranger until they could be restored to their original user. After that, Jason returned to his civilian life, closing the chapter on his life as a Ranger.
Now at age twenty-eight, Jason has built a successful career as a karate instructor for his school that he opened along with Zack in 2002 called Fire Dojo. Fire Dojo quickly became the most popular karate school in Angel Grove and is well known for having guest martial artists come in to give instruction and their take on what it is to be a martial artist.
In his personal life, he was married in 2004 to a young woman named Andrea Miller. Her ten year old son, Casey was, and still remains, one of his students, and they have been enjoying their life together as a family, with Jason getting his first taste of what its like to be a parent. Both Jason and Andrea are preparing to welcome their first child together in 2007.
