A Knight's Tale (Koragg)

Chapter 1: Temptation

I'm sorry, Udonna... I have to do this, to prove myself to you and the others. Take care...

Leanbow stood infront of Octomus's pit, looking at him with fear and courage, with Necrolai on his back and Imperious looking at him, he felt pity of himself. Suddenly, a blast of magic shot Leanbow, Dark Magic flowing through his veins, taking over his body. His human body is no longer visible, covered by an armour that hurt dozens of innocent people, including his wife.

Koragg: Thank you... master...

So this is it, serving the one that I swore to destroy in the Great Battle...

Imperious: Now Koragg, go and lure the rangers out, destroy them in the name of the master!

I refuse to nod and follow his orders, but what more can I do? I picked this path, and I have to live with it...

Koragg: I shall do so, Imperious. But this time, do not interfere my battle.

Imperious: Why yes of course.

Koragg nodded, making his way out of the Underworld and to the Surface world, he walked to the mountains. He took a slow walk, still can't take the event out of his mind. He made contact with Nick.

Koragg: Meet me at the usual place, we have to settle the score.

(Back at Rootcore, Nick screamed as he recieved the message from Koragg, he fight back as people looked at him)

Chip: What is it?

Nick did some finger message to the others and they walked away with Nick, far enough from Udonna, incase she eavesdrop.

Nick: Koragg wants a fight.

Xander: What you're going to do?

Nick: If he fight he wants, its a fight he'll get.

Madison: But what about Udonna?

Nick: You guys cover me, take care of Udonna and try not to let her know about this.

Vida: But she might see it through the Magic Globe

Nick: Cover me as long as you all could. Please.

Xander: Just go, Nick. We'll cover for you.

Nick: Thanks.

Xander: No prob. Go.

Chip: Oh yeah, before you forgotten...

Chip passed the broom to Nick.

Chip: Swept to it.

Nick smiled and accept it and left Root core.

Nick: Magical Source, Mystic Force!

Nick morphed into the Red Mystic Force Ranger and mount his broomstick.

Nick: Galwit Mysto Arytan! Go!

With that, Nick left, hoping to settle the scores with Koragg.

(At the mountains)

His coming... I'm sorry, but I have to...

Nick dropped to the ground right infront of Koragg.

Nick: You'll pay for what you've done.

Koragg: Bring it on, ranger.

Nick: This is for Udonna!

Nick charged towards Koragg, he kicked Koragg but was blocked, he punched but was blocked by Koragg's shield.

Koragg: Wolf attack!

With the usual blow, Nick fell aside, trying to get up.

Nick: I can't imagine Udonna liking a man like you, a knight with Honour?! Leanbow, you are a worthless man!

Koragg: Leanbow is dead, there's only Koragg.

Just for this... I lied to myself, hiding my true self, my soul, my identity, only to convince them...

Nick: I knew that, Koragg, he can't be as cruel as you!

Nick got back on his feet, struggling.

Koragg: Fight me, ranger. Less talk.

Nick: Alright! Legendary Source, Mystic Force!

A bright light covered Nick, powered him.

Nick: Code one, Fire Storm!

A blaze of fire blast Koragg on the chest, but he resisted it, absorbing as much magic as he could from Nick.

Nick: What the?!

Koragg: Is that all you got? Utre Magi Darkio!

A shield appears above Koragg, Dark Magic flewing through Koragg.

Koragg: Are you ready for real Dark Magic? Dark Wolf Attack!

Nick: No!

Hundreds of Wolf flew out of Koragg's shield, heading towards Nick, doing great damage to Nick, which fell to the ground.

Nick: Dark Magic will only destroy you... I will destroy you, Koragg, for Udonna!

Nick stood up, still weak.

Nick: Argh!!! Mystic Flying Kick!!

A leap up to the sky and came down with a powerful kick, he targeted at Koragg but he missed, Udonna appear infront of Koragg and taking the hit for Koragg.

Koragg: Udonna!

Nick: What the?

Udonna looked at Koragg, filled with sadness. Koragg lay her on his knees and offered her a hand to hold.

Koragg: Why do you take that blow for me?

Udonna: Because I need you.. I love you..

Koragg: Leanbow is dead, Udonna. He exist as a memory.

Udonna: No, he's not dead! Please, I waited for you for so long, don't make me wait for years...

Koragg: I told you, he's dead!

Nick interfered, which hurts Udonna.

Nick: Get lost! You Mystic traitor! You were idols to those who know you, but to me, you are nothing more then a slug!

Udonna: Enough, Nick!

Nick: But Ud..

Udonna: Enough!

Udonna turned to Koragg once more, she cried...

Udonna: Leanbow, please, come back to me, I'm begging you...

Koragg: I... can't, I serve the Master, I'll never betray him.

Koragg take away Udonna's hand from his palm, ready to leave, but Udonna wouldn't let go.

Udonna: Please...

I want to say yes to you, Udonna, my love but I can't... I'm sorry...

Koragg: No! I can't.

Koragg retracted his hand back and leave Udonna, he turned his head around, for a final message.

Koragg: Take a good rest, Udonna.

He walked away, entering the depths of the earth, back to the shadows. Walking back to his pit in the Underworld.

Why must my luck be this way? Why? Why can't I get the saber out of my heart, I really want to accept Udonna and love her, the temptation of it, but I just have to resist it... I'm Sorry, Udonna... I really mean it...

Chapter 2: The Great War

Another day... a day of Darkness...

Koragg opened his eyes and stood up. He walked out of his pit, passed a group of Hidiacs and stopped infront of Imperious.

Koragg: I'm off. Do not disturb me if there's nothing.

Imperious: Let me guess, you're off to see your family?

Koragg ran up to Imperious furiously, draw his sword and pointed at Imperious's head.

Koragg: Leave me to my business and don't you dare talk to me about my past, Imperious.

Koragg withdraw his sword and leave, walking out of the Underworld and to the surface. He took a stroll up the mountains and found a big rock, suitable for him to sit and clear his mind. A held his sword and stab it on the ground, and sat. He looked at the ocean.

I miss the feeling of looking at colours, my life has been a shadow path that led me through death. I see black and white, over and over again, I'm sick of it. This wouldn't have happened if Morticon and his forces did not appear. Because of them, I lost everything except for this armor. The Great Battle changed everything, I made Udonna, my beloved wife a widow, I lost 4 of my friends, failed to destroy the Darkness but I also failed to defend myself... because of the war, my foe, Koragg rosed up...

A white cloud covered Koragg's sight, then, he saw a memory of the war...

(Many of years ago... Rootcore)

Leanbow stood infront the mouth of a cave, with his four friends by his side, Ben (Mystic Yellow), Victor (Mystic Green), Jeff (Mystic Blue), Peyton (Mystic Pink).

Leanbow: My friends, for our Magical World and peace!

Mystic Wiz and Witches: Let's do it!

They ran out of the cave, later, they were joined by Daggeron. Leanbow turned to Daggeron.

Leanbow: Use all of your knowledge on the art of a knight, my apprentice. Go, defend yourself.

Daggeron: Alright Leanbow. Take care.

Daggeron leave the group and went attack Hidiacs with his Solaris Morpher while the others cover Leanbow's back.

Ben: Lean, go for Morticon, we got the Hidiacs.

Leanbow: Thanks. Good luck.

Ben: We will.

Leanbow charged towards a tall figure with a horn, Morticon.

Leanbow: Morticon! You're finished!

Morticon: Never!

Leanbow: Utre Magi Blazer!

Blast of fire flew right out of Leanbow's wand and covered Morticon, weakened him but Morticon managed to duck the attack and ran towards Leanbow, they exchanged hits, punching and kicking, Morticon decided to end the Exchange Hits, so he used his sword and tried to slash Leanbow on the neck, Leanbow ducked and summersoult to the back.

Leanbow: Ancient Mystic Mode!

With the call, Leanbow transformed.

Morticon: That doesn't scare me!

Leanbow: Oh? Maybe this will! Detrio Muthra Vedios!

Gates coated with fire captured Morticon, trapping Morticon.

Morticon: What?!

Leanbow: Firio Exio!

The heat increases, burning Morticon for a few seconds, then, with the help of his dark Magic, he's free and weak. Quickly, he ran away, towards a cave. Its the time where Leanbow is waiting for, he ran after Morticon to the cave.

Leanbow: My friends, the cave! Niella, get ready!

Niella, the gatekeeper nodded and followed the team. With one last look at his beautiful wife, Leanbow turned around, towards the cave for the final combat with Morticon. The cave is dark and huge, a terrible place to be stuck at, which Morticon is not planning to experience. Leanbow and the others reached the cave and was greeted by millions of Hidiacs.

Leanbow: Daggeron, back me up, I need to get near to Morticon. Ben, Victor, Jeff, Pey, take care of these goons.

Jeff: We will. Good luck, bring glory to our world.

While looking at this battle, tears filled Koragg's eyes, he missed his old friends so much.

Leanbow: We will. Daggeron, lets go.

Daggeron: Yes Leanbow.

Niella followed close by them, she help the other four in fighting Hidiacs, looking at Daggeron and Leanbow who managed to find Morticon.

Leanbow: It's over, Morticon. I declare a war with you, once and for all!

Morticon: I accept! Ha!!

Leanbow and Morticon charged and exchange blows once more, fighting with their full strength, not willing to give up. All Daggeron can do now is to destroy Hidiacs around them. Leanbow kicked Morticon to the mouth of the cave who lost because of the previous battle which weakened him. He turned to Daggeron.

Leanbow: Daggeron, leave, now!

Daggeron: He lost, master! You achieved what you wanted, can't you seal him alone and not risking your life with a dark beast?!

Leanbow: I have to do it! Just go Daggeron! Protect Bowen, take him to safety! Go!

Daggeron felt sad for his mentor but respect his decision, he left, going away from the cave.

Leanbow: Esa Lockon!

A shield of Red appears on Morticon, trapping his feet.

Morticon: No!!

Leanbow: Now for Necrolai! Mysta Vampio!

A blast knocked Necrolai directly on her head, she fell to the ground and flew into the cave, as if an invisible giant hand grabbed her and tossed her to her death. Leanbow turned to Niella.

Leanbow: Seal this cave and bring it down!

Niella: What about you?!

Leanbow: They will still surface if I go! Just do it! Its the only way!

Niella: But

Leanbow: Just do it! For peace!

Niella: Alright.

With a swiff on her staff, the gate appears and sealed it. With all her powers, she brought the cave down.

(In the cave)

Leanbow: For victory!

Leanbow destroy Morticon's forces, but they never seem to vanish, he ran deeper into the cave, blasting Hidiacs who blocked his way, then, he was stopped and pulled. A vein that looked like an octopus leg grabbed Leanbow's feet and he fell, he was suprised to see an Octopus leg coming out from a pit.

Octomus: I sense great courage in you. Why don't you fight for me?

Leanbow: I'm not going to work for Dark Magic, I never will.

Octomus: You won't but you have to!

A strike of enery came from the vein, surging through Leanbow's vein, taking his memory away. An armor covered knight tooked over Leanbow's through self.

Leanbow: Who... Who.. Who am I?!

Octomus: Koragg, knight wolf...

Leanbow/Koragg: Ko... Koragg...

Octomus: Yes...

(Now)

The clouds begin to fade, and Koragg gained his sight and focused. He crunched his knuckles hardly and stood up. He grabbed his sword and begin attacking the air.

Because of the war, I lost the freedom to love, to experience life, my son... Bowen and my apprentice! Octomus tooked everything from me... I felt like I lost my soul to him... Udonna...
