This seems to coincide with the info found on www.sentaitoys.com. The Bouken Driver seems like it will be some kind of DVD/CD game thing.

It might just be the way they edited together the picture. But, i don't know for sure. We'll see when it gets released.

If that can hold the Accellular I'm getting it.

End of Story.

It's a cool little gadget regardless, I think.

Ohhhh, so that's what the thing is on the side there, lol. To hold the accellular. Though, i wonder if it's just there for show or if it does stuff. Probably there for show since I dont see how the accellcular can hook up to the game at all.

Myst

Yeah, in the show they clip the Accellular there to call extra little Mecha if they need 'em and gattai them on.

And no, there's like no way. I mean, if the Accellular had ports or something but it doesn't and anyway, it'd be hella expensive @.@.

Yea, i've seen that in the show. Kinda like how they did the SP Licenses in Deka. I love how they do that, in both series.

I just didn't realize that's what that thing was in the pic.

Sadly, I am guessing this won't be playable without a region free dvd player.

Still a cool toy though.

reminds me of a toy I use to have in downtown china town. It was a interactive racing game and you'd turn the steering left and right to avoid others than use the acclerator on your right to speed up

cool accessory though now people who buy it will want to act along side the boukengers when they form a mech and daibouken haha

wow, i'm glad i early bird it. the bottom of that better look like the one in the show as well.. i just love the pop up steering wheel, and how it can turn into a carrying case.

also glad that is isn't a cockpit like mentioned earlier..

......I want that pleasure

Anyways, I'm not so sure on the scale of it, so I dunno if I'd actually go for it.....maybe if it wasn't Japanese I'd get it for my cousin, and then play with it when I go to visit him on vacations :005:

As cool as it would be, I doubt it. And if it was, it would probably fit the crappy american Accelullar, and not the Sentai changer.

WOW, that things worth a staggering 58 bouken points. Thats...a visit to your door by the boukengers and then some!

Anyways, it looks like the usual refinments. Accelular holder, control stricks, interestingly shaped sterring wheel :005:

So...who else is planning on buying this?:023:

i'm getting more and more annoyed with bandai japan these past year. it seems that its best to not buy anything until summer time to see a full selection of the same toys that they are releasing. i mean ppl who want that 2nd dvd will have to get superdaibouken? no thanks

Who said it came with Super Daibouken. It comes by itself, it cost about $16 for it. What I meant was in the first DVD you can only drive as mechas 1-5 and form DaiBouken. The second disk you drive as mechas 6-9 and form Super DaiBouken. I was going to get this but since they are only a selection of DVD players you can set up BoukenDriver on.

It doesn't connect by wires, you take the DVD remote and point it at the censor on the Bouken Driver and then it gets set up like a DVD remote. Then you use the Bouken Driver like it's like a game controller. On Bandai's site it list different DVD players it will work with. I don't know if it will work with a region free DVD player though. On Japanese website it states if it doesn't work with your DVD player you can still use like a toy.

ChungieBoy
05-27-2006, 12:19 AM
use like a toy, that's not very reassuring for such an expensive role play item.

btw, some computers nowadays support dvd remote controls. Chungie, if your comp issomewhat new (2003/2004-NOW) , and the remote HAPPENS to work with Bouken driver on your computer, then your all set...

my pc was made in during the summer of 03.. so i guess that works right? but where would i get a remote control from?

Dragon Ranger
05-27-2006, 12:29 AM
I went thorugh Bandai's list again. They just have a list of ones they know that works with it and a list of ones that don't work with it. I don't know if you can use it on a computer, they just list DVD players.

Abaranger

Yeah, I guess Bouken Driver supports mainly dvd players...

I'de try and contact Bandai customer supp...EXCUSE ME

*Bandai JAPAN customer technical support* and see what they say about computers with dvd drives that support remotes....

If Sony or some other company is listed, and chungie has a dvd drive and his comp supports a remote, then theres a way. BTW, the comp has to come with a remote, otherwise I dont think it supports it....ask BestBuy

But you know what, this sounds like TOO much trouble :005: If its meant for a dvd player, then put Bouken Driver on your lap/table like you would with a GF, secure it, and have fun!

Dragon Ranger
05-27-2006, 12:42 AM
I think its for DVD players. We will have to wait and see if it works with somebody else who is getting it.

Well, BA is giving us the bull that they are always expanding their PR line, soo this might be their take on a plug n play Relic Hunters game.

To keep the missing details issue consistent, we might see a few levels missing, maybe a level in black in white....

its out now in Japan, I've seen it on Rinkya going for 4,500 and 4,800 yen

FirePhoenix
05-28-2006, 03:42 AM
It would be nice though if BA did not make any changes to except the language of course. If they did that and sold it for either $49.99 or $59.99 I would buy it and play with it. But anyone played the japanese version yet?

Alright! First person megazord battles!

Great. I can just see it now -- the world's in danger, and I'll drive the DaiBouken straight into the nearest building. Probably a hospital or children's orphenage or something.

Okay, so, this is interesting.

There's the Go Go Gattai 05 Go Go Jet --

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN939839

(the price would indicate that it was a deluxe version)

There's the Go Go Gattai DX Siren Builder --

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN939865

And there's also the Go Go gattai DX Super Dai Bouken, which I guess is all nine of the zords released together --

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN941733

So... the jet would be the jet, and I guess Siren Builder is the Sixth Ranger's zord? I need to go check the Boukenger thread ....

The BoukenDriver can be used with newer Apple computers that make use of the Apple Remote. I'm pretty sure it can be programed for most DVD players. Just push a button on the bottom and it can adjust to the frequency that your DVD Player's Remote uses.

ChungieBoy
06-04-2006, 02:41 AM
