it's not even Wolzard Fire, it's a repainted Wolzard. I could do that for $7 and some paint.

Are you positive?? I do belive that bandai japan would put out an authentic. Hence why the heck would it be that expensive?

The package it is in matches the original wolzard. If it were an actual figure, it would have a different packaging. It might EXIST, but that doesn't look like it at all.

For some reason I dislike the Bandai America figures, i find the japanese versions much better, they may not be as poseable, but hell they look way better.

I stopped buying action figures when they stopped making 4-inchers (the last ones were for TimeRanger), no matter how nice the newer 5-inchers may be they don't fit in with my figures from the previous series.

As for the auction, I'm pretty sure it's authentic. Special limited repaints of figures seldom get their own boxes, but rather just a sticker indicating that it's a special re-painted edition (like this one has). They do it all the time in the Transformers line (in Japan that is).

TF in Japan? How's that, after as many black reprints made that have black and white boxes? (And in the case of the clear red Hot Rodimus/Hot Rod, a red and white box...) Not to mention all the previous entries of Sentai DX mecha that get their own boxes for recolors (Gao Hunter Blue Moon Version and the Another Versions of Abaren'ou and Killer'ou immediately come to mind here)...

Hasn't "Knight Wolf Fury" already been more or less confirmed? Probably with the Goddam Semitruck, at any rate.

Let's hope that they DON'T stick it there, and stick that other guy that looks like a machine there instead. If BA pops Wolzard Fire in the box with the (seemingly annual requirement) truck, it just won't make it into my ranks...(them trucks are NEVER worth the price of admission for the figures...much like how that hideous Animarium playset wasn't worth that somewhat ugly Princess Shayla figure...) And whose idea was it for the trucks, anyway?! As if the bikes don't suck enough, heh...

I dunno. I think BA's version will come by itself...and MAYBE we'll get Magi Mother as well. (It's a stretch, but hell, a brother can dream...) OR, in an even fatter stretch of imagination, maybe BA will get a bit desperate and pull a Hasbro: have both Wolzard Fire and either Magi Shine or Magi Mother in a nice little two-pack value set.
