Why I hate new seasons (updated display)

The top shelf always looks so bare compaired to the others. At least last year magi had 6 figures and 2 mechas. This year its gonna be like that for a bit as we have a bunch of aux mechas for now.

actually, i enjoy it.. since i only use one shelf to display the current series. and its fun seeing how it gets altered as the year goes by, and i buy too much from the series

Nice collection man, I especially love the cookiejar mecha from Abaranger. :023: :005: Anyhow what kills a season for me is that it takes so long for the plot to get moving, Boku's cool and all but I miss the suspence of the latter Magi episodes.

I don't really get why you hate it. Boukenger is just starting. By this time next year, the Boukenger shelf will look like the Magi shelf.

Well last year it wasnt a problem. I didnt have these shelves and was using a much smaller shelved bookcase. Plus last year at this time I was still buying power rangers suff and wasnt importing very much till magi. Therefore no swat figures. But I did have dekabase robo. Each shelf had the 5 or 6 rangers plus 2 to 3 mechas. But now that each season has like 13 figures it makes the rest of the shelves seem empty.


Plus now I have to figure out what to do with the display that was retired. Ninja Storm just moved to the bottom and has taking the spot that was being used for Wild Force. So now Wild Force sits in a crate till I figure something out.

Umm its used to symbolize the barrels that abarekiller caught Dimenokodon and Parasarokkiru in. Ya thats it :rolleyes:

Hey threefeet - could you manage a close-up of your Bouken/Magi stuff? Would love to see how the SH fig's look when displayed with the mech (since it seems this year I'll have to get the SH figs to get a complete set of rangers).

BA. Magi and Bouken as SH. Only thing SPD that I have from Japan is Dekabase Robo. Only thing on magi shelf that is america is Saint Kaiser.

i'd think part of the fun of being a collector would be to NOT have everything at some point. i mean i understand that it is your ultimate goal to have X amount of items.. but its kind of like a project you work on... half of the fun is actually WORKING on the project... at least that's how it is for me in regards to my prop projects

Youre very right. Up until a month ago I had season 1 threw zeo complete and had been working backwards to finish the rest of the series. But I right now Im just going threw a phase that makes me want to sell alot of my stuff so I sold all my auto morphs from seasons 1 and 2, the alien rangers, megazord,dragonzord, astro megazord, and ninja megazord.Maybe because I already had the stuff I stopped caring about it. Also buying from HLJ just doesnt have the same thrill of the hunt.

Im not paying 120 bucks for a mecha I dont like. Its can transform itself, big deal. Thats not worth an extra 50 bucks.

In Japan. If it wasnt needed to make a combination shown on the show I didnt buy it. Like Pachy, that I bought for 70 bucks when BA didnt release it because I needed it for the arm. Another question is where is Samurai Star. Well I havent got around to buying him yet.

Yeah, Magilegend for a DX figure does look kinda like crap. Maybe if they would have made it without trying to include the fire effects they could've made it better.
