[Mythical Master]

I have finally decided it is time to post the newest fanfic that I have written. I wrote this back in the fall and it ended before the S.P.D. finale so the ending isn't incorporated into the story. But anyway that don't really matter. The next time I come to Rangerboard.com I will post the first couple of chapters.

Okay now the plot.

The main villian has my name sake (Mythical Master). In several fanfics of the past both those that have been posted and those that never made it past the first chapter have different versions of this character but this fanfic has him the way I want it. Okay, basically this story is comprised of several stories from all 13 seasons of Power Rangers. Mystic Force is not included basically because this story was written before we had anything more than a title which was basically up until the premiere. Anyway each season has four stories that are interlink and in some cases one season begins with a link to another story.

This started out as a "TV season" with each title of each episode being a two-or-more-parter. But for the benifit of those who will read and comment on the story I will simply post all the parts as one chapter to make them longer. But I will still divide them up in parts. The parts of each chapter for Lightspeed Rescue (which by the way has one of the best subplots in the entire story) has it's own title.

Basically what happens is Rita summons the Mythical Master to distroy the Power Rangers by sacrificing monsters but when he is defeated, he is not destroyed and launches a plot to destroy the Power Rangers himself without the Villians or Rangers aware of it. The last chapter is basically him versus the Power Rangers of all 13 seasons. With each season getting four episodes that makes it a total of 52 chapters plus one for all seasons equals a total of 53 episodes and that is that. I hope whoever reads this will enjoy it. Posts will occur whenever I come to the library to a computer but only if I have it typed up.

The title of the story is typed based on memory. It may not be that accurate. Please enjoy.

Well I was hoping today but I got caught up yesterday straighting out my table of contents because I am seperating each chapter into parts I had to list them that way so I haven't even started typing the story yet. So, really I don't know. Hopefully, Monday or Tuesday but that is no gurantee.

Okay before I post Parts 1 and 2 of the first chapter I wanted to explain about the flow of the story first. Part 1 will be in the next post. Okay, The first 26 chapters are telling interrelated stories of each season at random. This means that each time you see a story from Season one the last picks up where the first leave off are occurs after it. The next 13 chapters go first season, last season and so on until you get to the middle season (Lost Galaxy). Then the next 13 chapters are in order followed by the last chapter which includes all 13 seasons. Mystic Force will still not be added because this was written when all we had was a title. My the time chapter 40 gets here some seasons' chapters take place in another season. Ex.: The In Space chapter may take place during the Wild Force Season. That was just an example it may not be what actually happens. Okay, the next post will be Chapter One: The Summons Pt. 1

Chapter One: The Summons Pt. 1
(From Season 1)

Angel Grove, one of the most beautiful cities in California, also the home of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and the most monster attacks in the last year. Rita Repulsa is responsible for those attacks. But the Power Rangers destroyed every monster she sent.

These Rangers, six teenagers with attitude: Jason, the Red Ranger; Kimberly, the Pink Ranger; Trini, the Yellow Ranger; Zack, the Black Ranger; Billy, the Blue Ranger; and Tommy, the Green Ranger, all fought against Rita and her monsters.

One day after Tommy returns as the Green Ranger, Rita announced her frustration.

"I am so frustrated."

"Do you want me to attack people in the park my Empress?" asked Goldar.

"No, you fool. That never works!" she cried.

There was silence then Rita had an idea.

"I've got it!"

"What is it my Empress?" asked Goldar.

"There is one being who might be able to stop the Power Rangers."

"Who?"

"The Mythical Master"

"Who?"

"He is a being so evil that he is only allowed to be called upon in extreme emergencies."

"So you are going to summon him?"

"Yes, I am but to do so I need to bring back 6 of my most powerful monsters. Each will be given a new special ability. When defeated they will send out a signal. When 6 are sent out Mythical Master will come."

"What six monsters are you going to use?"

"That is a good question."

At the Angel Grove Juice Bar, Tommy and Jason were working out.

"You know," said Tommy, "Things have been quiet around here."

"Too quiet," agreed Jason.

Kimberly was doing gymnastics. Trini and Billy were doing homework and Zack was entertaining some kids with some new dance moves. At that time, a musical chime went off.

The six heroes gathered in a secluded corner and made contact.

"Yes, Zordon?" asked Jason who opened up communications with him.

"Rangers. Rita has send down a monster. It is already in giant form. Morph and call your zords. Defeating it should be very easy."
"Okay," said Jason, "It's Morphin Time!"

"Dragonzord!"

"Mastodon!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Triceratops!"

"Saber Tooth Tiger!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

"We need Dinozord power now!"

The zords came and combined together to form the Mighty Megazord. In no time they defeated the monster and returned to the Command Center.

"Good work Power Rangers," said Zordon.

"Thank-you Zordon," said Tommy, who morphed but didn't call his zord due to limited power supply.

"But the trouble has yet to begin Rangers," warned Zordon.

"What do you mean Zordon?" asked Billy.

"That monster when destroyed let out a signal. I fear if this happens five more times then a being more powerful that Rita will appear," answered Zordon.

"Rita want like that," said Zack.

"Actually Zack, she's the one who wants him here."

"What?!"

"Why would she want someone more powerful than herself?" asked Jason.

"Because she's desperate."

"Who is this being Zordon?"

"There is only one being that can be summon this way. His name is the Mythical Master."

"Mythical Master? How can we stop him?"

"There is no sure fire way. Your zords are however strong enough to defeat him in battle."

"But you don't know if he will really be defeated?" asked Trini.

"Yes, I don't know I need time to examined the monsters that Rita sends so the signal devise can be pinpointed and destroyed."

"What should we do until the next monster attack?" asked Tommy.

"Go about your regular activities. I will contact you if there is another monster attack."

"Yes, sir," said the Rangers.

They teleport out. Minutes later they were in battle against monster #2. Zordon couldn't find the signal device.

"Alpha, either Rita has hidden the device real well or."

"The monster is the signal Zordon?" interrupted Alpha.

"Yes, Alpha. This puts the Rangers in a dilemma. If they don't defeat the monster then it will destroy Angel Grove but if they do, it will be another step closer to releasing Mythical Master."

"They have no choice. Rangers, defeat the monster. It is the signal device but we have no choice, it has to be done."

"We understand Zordon."

They destroyed the monster and released the second signal.

"It won't be long now," said Rita with glee from her moon base.

By the end of the day, three monsters had been destroyed and three signals released. The Rangers rested peacefully.

The next day resulted in two defeated monsters and two released signals.

The time was coming closer and Rita could hardly wait.

"Soon. Soon. Rangers, you will be no more. Real soon."

She sends down monster number six. They destroy it with ease. A portal opens and out walks Mythical Master. The Rangers grab their pistols fired at him. But the shots did nothing.

"There is nothing you can do to stop me Rangers! Nothing!"

"He disappears. He appears at Rita's palace.

"Rita Repulsa. I should of known you would be the one to summon me."

"Yes, Great Mythical Master. I need your help with a little P. R. problem."

"I'm sorry but I majored in criminology."

Rita gives him a look.

"Oh that P. R. problem. Don't worry I have a plan that will put chaos in the Rangers' lives for years to come."

"Do you need my help master?"

"First off, no I don't. And don't let your real boss hear you say that."

I don't really know what to take from that last quote but I realize that the quote used was kind of funny. But nevertheless here comes the conclusion of Chapter one.

Chapter One: The Summons Pt. 2
(From Season One)

"Don't worry."

Back at the park, the Rangers made contact with Zordon.

"Rangers, there is nothing more you can do but wait. Mythical Master will make his move eventually."

"Yes, Zordon, " said Jason, "should we power down?"

"Yes, I will contact you when the next sign of trouble occurs."

"Got ya."

"Power Down!"

The rest of the day went smoothly. The rest of the week went smoothly. One week after the first monster attack, Mythical Master made his first move. It was a monster attacking the downtown area. Zordon sent in the Rangers. The Rangers fought hard and began to win the battle. With the Mythical Master's permission, Rita made the monster grow.

"We need Dinozord Power now!"

The Dinozords came and for the Mighty Megazord. It took a while but they destroyed the monster. This did not make the Mythical Master happy. He sent down another monster. It was already in giant form. The Rangers were about to defeat it when he sent down a third monster. The two monsters began to really damage the Megazord.

"Tommy!" cried Jason, "We have no choice. Call the Dragonzord!"

"You got it Jason!"

He calls forth the Dragonzord. With its help the two monsters were destroyed. But this didn't stop Mythical Master. He sent down a fourth monster.

"Mega-Dragonzord Power Up!"

The two zords combined. The monster was destroyed.

"Can nothing beat these Rangers?" asked Mythical Master.

"That is why I summon you. I know if anyone can you are the one."

"Of course I am Rita. It is actually part of my plan for those four monsters to be destroyed. Now I will send a fifth monster. After this, those Rangers should be confident enough to beat any monster. That is when I hit them big with a monster that can't be beat."

He gives out an evil laugh.

Back at the Command Center, a debate was going on about what Mythical Master's next move would be.

"I'm telling you guys, the next monster we will fight will be Mythical Master himself," insisted Billy.

"But why when he was almost successful with his last three?" asked Tommy.

"Billy is right," said Zordon, "Your first battle against Mythical Master is next."

Just then the alarm went off. They looked toward the viewing globe. It was indeed a monster but not Mythical Master.

"Looks like you were wrong Billy."

"Yeah, looks that way."

"It's Morphin Time!" cried Jason.

"Dragonzord!"

"Mastodon!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Triceratops!"

"Saber Tooth Tiger!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

They morphed into action and the battle against this monster began. It was a tough fight. It became even tougher when Rita made the monster grow. They call the zords and they cause the monster to explode but in its place was another monster.

"No way!" shouted the Rangers.

They then combined with the Dragonzord and Titanus to form the Ultrazord. This was enough to cause another explosion but not the monster's destruction.

"You'll never beat me Rangers!" shouted the monster, "I have many layers! Far too many for you to count! You will have to destroy everyone of them to actually defeat me!"

"And destroy them we will!" shouted Jason.

"Right!" agreed the other Rangers, "Ultrazord Power Up!"

With the Ultrazord, this layer of the Monster was destroyed. But it wasn't the last layer before the Monster's core.

"I told you I can't be defeated. By the time you get down to my core, Angel Grove will be no more!"

"Zordon, we've got past three layers. Any idea on how many there really are?"

"Not that many Jason. Don't let the monster deceive you. Pretty soon you should come to his last layer and then you can defeat him."

Fortunately, the fourth layer was his last and with its destruction revealed the monster's true identity, Mythical Master himself.

"Oh so you finally destroyed all my layers. Guess you're smarter than I gave you credit for. Well you won't defeat me Rangers!"

But they did and this time with the explosion Mythical Master was gone. All it did was allow him to return to his true form. In his true form he could return to his laboratory in a dimension beyond time and space where he can cause true havoc. Rita did not know this and thought he was gone and this gave her a headache.

"Let the games begin," said Mythical Master form his lab.

He turns on a monitor and it showed Angel Grove four years later.

Author's note: okay this ends chapter one and season one for now. Chapter two takes place in the Turbo era and centers on Tommy which is why it is entitled Tommy's Dream

At his current writing ability, he should stop. But that doesn't mean he should never write again ... there's no description here, no action, nothing but words on a page.

I really appreciate the feedback and I know I have some problems with description in my stories but I have been doing this for over 20 yrs. and decription is not the only element in a good story. Plot is also needed and I believe that is what this story contains. Now due to some unfortunate circumstances, chapter two pt 1 won't be posted today because of the computer I was assigned in the library. If I am assigned a computer tomorrow that allows me to use a disk then I can post my next installment. I can't guarantee that the story will improve with descriptions but there may be some chapters that have descriptions than others. I try to focus more on plot than anything else.

You need to work on your writing skills man, ya need to work on description. That would help your story here, and I'm not saying you can't write... I'm just saying you need to learn how to write a little better.

Oh I am definitely not going to stop writing. I may stop PR fanfics eventually but not all together. I didn't go to school and majored in journalism for nothing, and He did give me talent. Some of my stuff in the past has been good and after giving it some thought there is a great deal of description in my story I just haven't got to it yet. I will try when I type these stories for posting to add description when it is needed but I am not going to give up writing. Not having description in my stories doesn't mean I don't have talent. And if you want proof that I can write, look up in this forum He-man Meets the Power Rangers. It is a five or six parter that got great reviews here. You may have to go back to the beginning to actually find it.

Despite the begging not too, I am going to post chapter one pt. 1. There is no action in this chapter because it is basically a set-up story for one of the main plots in the over all story.

Chapter Two: Tommy's Dream Pt. 1
(From Turbo)

Sometime after the Millennium Message, Tommy received a disturbing dream. He was tossing and turning all night in bed.

"Tommy!" shouted a voice.

"Who goes there?" asked Tommy in a shout.

"Prepare yourself Tommy for the end of an era!" came a voice.

"Whose era?" he asked.

"You'll find out soon enough!" came the voice.

An evil laugh followed then Tommy woke up in a sweat.

"Man, I better get to the Power Chamber quickly."

Minutes later he was in the Power Chamber.

"Dimetria, I had a dream. A really weird dream."

"What was the dream about?" she asked.

"A voice told me that an era was about to come to an end."

"Did it say whose era?"

"No, it said I would find that out soon. But I was wondering. Could it have something to do with the Millennium Message?"

"Is it possible since we don't know the entire message, someone could be trying to communicate to you the rest of it."

"But it also had an evil laugh."

"Could that be just a ploy to throw us off track?"

"You raise a good point. Thank-you, Dimetria. I'm gone."

He teleports out.

But as soon as he lay back down to sleep the voice returns.

"Tommy! Tommy! Don't you want to know whose era is about to end?"

"Of course I do," said Tommy.

"Then you know what has to come soon."

"No, I don't."

"Oh but you do. What do you have plan for tomorrow Tommy?"

"A camp out with my friends."

"But will you make it to the camp out?"

"Are you saying my era is over?"

"I don't know am I?"

"My era will never end. Whoever I at the end of tomorrow will carry on my legacy."

"But is it your legacy that needs to be carried on?"

"Whose then if not mind?"

"I'm not the one to tell you this Tommy!"

And evil laugh follows. Tommy then began having dreams of his past adventures. Every one with a celebration at the Command Center and Power Chamber. He then wakes up.

"The Power Chamber!" It must be in danger of being destroyed."

"That's only partly right," said Mythical Master, "The Power Chamber is vulnerable to an attack. But when it will occur is the question."

The next day he calls Adam and tells him about the dream.

"Are you skipping out on us Tommy?"

"No, Adam, I'm just concern about our Power Chamber."

"Oh, the Power Chamber is find."

"Adam it has been destroyed before, remember."

"Yes, I do. Well are you coming are not?'

"Yes, I'll pick up Kat and meet you at the sight."

They hang up.

Author's note: Again this is just a set up for a plotline so there was not real action in it. Again I will try to install action descriptions when I start typing Chapter three when I get around to it. I have talent. I know I do. I really don't spend as much time writing stories like I did before I graduated High School in 1997. It may be because I don't have time. I don't know but I do know I have talent and I do know writing is something I enjoy doing and no amount of harsh critism is going to stop or discourge me from doing so. I appreciate all comments for my story but don't think I'm going to stop posting my chapters because of a few "You can't write" posts because I know that I can. I'll at least wait until I get further along in the story before I stop because the story does get interesting, I promise you that or at least it did when I was writing it or I would have lost interest in it a long time ago and never finished it. And I wouldn't have stop period I would have gone on to another idea all together.

Yes, I should do have a degree in journalism. I most certainly am not lying. I graduated with a BA degree in journalism at Union University in Jackson, TN in 2004. And there is nothing you can do to keep me from posting the rest of my story. It is not crap. It doesn't appeal to you and that is just find but I am not a bad writer. Okay so maybe it is not the best story out there but crap definitely does not describe it. And I have the nerve to look up what you have written and see if it is really any better. I've been writing for 20 years but I started as an 8 year old because I am now 28.

Look it is okay with me to point out parts that are wrong with this story and I can try to improve the remaining chapters of it but to utterly insult my education background and call me a liar is just plain wrong. But I am going to forgive you because so far only three people have stated hatred for this story. And I have written good stuff in the past. I am not going to dwell on just one person's opinion on my story.

Okay, after much consideration, I have decided to not post anymore of this story at this time. I am probably going to have to go back to the previous posts and do some serious editing on my computer at home and try to make it better although with as tough as the critics are it probably won't work. I know I am a good writer and I know I have a lot of potential to improve despite the few who don't think so. But I am going to try to improve the story even if it has to be rewritten. I can't disappoint the fans of fanfiction by continueing to post stories they don't like because they don't have enough description and that is what I will try to change with my story.

havemercy, I want to apologize to you for the attitude of my reaction to your comments. You were only being honest and stating your opinion and I have to respect that. I hope that you will give me this chance to try to improve my story, and when I feel I have done that and repost the first chapter that you will be just as honest as you are now and please forgive me for my attitudes that I have sincerely apologize for. I promise you I do have a degree in journalism. If you are ever in the Corinth, Mississippi area and you see me I will be glad to show it to you. Professors in the Communication Arts department at Union University in Jackson, TN will vouch that I was a student there for four years and indeed did graduate. If you choose not to do as I ask then I will accept that too.
