Story: It is the year 2011. In the town of Angel Grove, strange things are happening. 5 teens get strange e-mails telling them to go to a house that has been empty for 5 years. When they get there, they find strange suits and a video diary that tells the teens about experiments involving virtualization and computers. The experiments were conducted by a Billy Cranston and an Ethan James. They find a strange room, and somehow gets transported to an even stranger place. They find out that they are in the internet. With the help of a few computer programs created by Ethan, the teens learn more about the internet, and a team of viruses who plan to take all the information of the world and destroy the Earth. They have also captured Ethan and Billy. The teens get their ranger powers, which will transform them into the Micro Tech Rangers. They must save Billy and Ethan, and defeat the viruses that threaten the world...

Episode 1: Origins pt.1

2006:
Ethan and Billy are working on some sort of experiment.

“All right, let’s test this thing out.” Billy said.

“Do you think I’ll work?” Ethan replied.

“Only one way to find out.”

Billy put on a suit and entered a room.

“Ready when you are.”

“Good luck.”

The door closed, and there was big flash.

“Virtualization, complete. Billy, can you hear me?”

“Loud and clear, Ethan.”

“Yes! It worked!”

“Now it’s time for Phase 2.”

While Ethan was putting his suit on, he saw something on the computer. Two monsters were right behind Billy.

“Billy, look out!”
Before Billy could realize what happened, one of the monsters blasted him.

“Billy! I gotta help him!”

Ethan went inside the virtualization room. Neither of them were heard from for years.

5 years later…
“Jessica! Ellen! Time for the first day at your new school!”

But Ellen didn’t want to go. “Uhhhhhhh. Five more minutes,” said Ellen, in a cheerlessly.

“Come on! Get up! How can you not be excited for school?”

“Do I have to answer?”

“Come on, I know that we’re going to a new school, but we’ll get to make new friends!”

“That’s what you said last year.”

“Just think of school as one big adventure.”

“Yeah, one boring mission that I’m probably going to fail…”

“Another school year, another swirling vortex of doom.”

Miles away, Rick Carrington was getting ready for the first day of school.

“It’s only 9 months. It’s only 9 months.”

“Ah, another great year of learning. I hope that Modern Computer is even better this year,” Johnny Long said excitedly.

“Do you hear that, world? IT’S TIME FOR SCHOOL!”

“Shut up!” his sister shouted.

“Well, good bye, summer vacation, “said Tim McManus.

“At least there’s sports everyday now.”

“We’ve been here for 5 mintures, and I already don’t like this.” said Ellen.

“Just relax. It’s only school. It’s not like the sky is falling.“

Meanwhile…

“Hey, Rick.”

“Johnny, great to see you again.”

“Hey guys.”

“Hey Tim. How was summer?” Johnny asked.

“Summer vacation OWNS ALL!”

“Too bad it’s over. You guys ready for the first day of school?” said Johnny.

‘No,” Rick said in a gloomy way.

“That’s the spirit!”

“All right, let’s just get this over with,” said Tim.

Before Rick entered, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

“Is it over yet?”

“We just got inside.”

“YES!!! IT’S OVER! “ Rick screamed with glee. The first day of school was over. When Rick exited the building, he started to dance.

“Rick, do you still take medications?” Tim asked.

“THAT WAS THE WORST DAY OF SCHOOL EVER!” Jessica screamed at the top of her lungs.

“That was actually better than I expected.” Ellen said.

“Maybe for you, it was. I was the center of all of the pranks, I had to eat in the phone booth, and I was blamed for the Science Skunk incident.”

“It was only the first day of school. Maybe I’ll get better over time.”

Rick was in his room, on the computer.
“Whoever invented Study Hall is a genius. But why is it called Study Hall? You study, but not in a hall. Then again, why do you park in a driveway, and drive on a parkway? And did really Lincoln have a secretary named Kennedy, and Kennedy have a secretary named Lincoln? Why am I talking to myself again? Why am I on the computer? Better just do random things.” Rick checked his e-mail.
“One new message.”

“Homework’s done, dinner’s over, and the trash has been taken out. IT’S COMPUTER TIME!” said Johnny.

“Shut up!” his sister shouted.

“Why don’t you just get some earplugs?! Hmm, one new message.”

“Are you online sports players ready to get owned by me?” Tim said.

“Hey, I have a new message.”

“Okay, homework starts… NOW!” Jessica and Ellen always have a contest on who finishes their homework first. Loser does the dishes. They both had to write a paragraph for homework.

“Hey, I have a new message. You were checking your e-mail while doing your homework! +2 seconds!” they both said in unison.

8 Lancaster Lane. For 5 years, no one has gotten in, no one has came out. The strange e-mail that the 5 teens got told them to come here.

“Johnny? Rick? What are you guys doing here?”

“I got an e-mail telling me to come here.”

“Ditto.”

Then, Jessica and Ellen came.

“What are you three doing here?” Ellen asked.

“I think the better question is, what are YOU doing here?” Rick said.

“We got an e-mail telling us to come to this address,” Jessica replied.

“Same with us,” Tim said.

“Hey, aren’t you the new students here?” Johnny asked.

“Yes. Aren’t you the one who got the last chocolate pudding at lunch?” asked Jessica.

“Yeah, sorry about that.”

“Well, we’re here. Now what?” said Ellen.
Suddenly, the door opened.

“Okay… Weird.”

The 5 teens entered the house, unaware that their lives would be changed forever.

I wasn't able to finish chapter 2 today, but I'll post what I have so far.

Episode 1: Origins pt.2

“Hello? Echo? Yo, yo, yo! Anyone home?” Rick shouted.

“Dude, there’s no one here. Cut it out,” said Tim.

“I don’t get it. Why would someone send us an e-mail to go to an empty house?” Jessica asked.

“I don’t know. Let’s just keep looking around, maybe there’s something that can help us,” said Ellen.

“Guys, look at this!” Tim said.

On the desk, there were many pictures of the Power Rangers, from the original to the Crystal Rangers. But two of the pictures had the Power Rangers unmasked.

“This dude must be totally obsessed with the Power Rangers,” said Rick.

“I think that the person who lives here is a Power Ranger. How can anyone else get pictures of the Power Rangers unmasked?” Jessica said.

“Whoa, look at this computer. It must be from like, 5 years ago,” said Johnny, who was turning the computer on.

“Dude, I don’t think that that’s a very good idea. I saw this in a TV show. They turned on a strange computer, and a pack of alien wolves came out and sucked their brains out with their retainers of doom!”

Everyone stared at Rick for a while.

“Okay then…” said Ellen, who was weirded out.

“Hey guys, look at the computer screen!” said Johnny.

On the screen, there were two people.

“Hey, those guys are from two of those pictures of the Power Rangers unmasked!” exclaimed Tim.

“Day 1. We’ve begun the virtualization project. We are beginning the research.” Chhhhhhhhhhh

“Day 57. Research and blueprints are complete.” Chhhhhhhhhhh

“Day 94. We are about halfway through the construction.” Chhhhhhhhhh

“Day 183. We almost completed construction, until a virus attacked and destroyed it. We were able to delete it, but the machine was destroyed. Chhhhhhhhhh

“Day 328. Construction is complete. We will begin tests now.” Chhhhhhhhhhh

“ ‘Day 331. We are ready to begin.’
‘All right, let’s test this thing out.’

‘Do you think I’ll work?’

‘Only one way to find out.’

‘Ready when you are.’

‘Good luck.’

‘Virtualization, complete. Billy, can you hear me?’

‘Loud and clear, Ethan.’

‘Yes! It worked!’

‘Now it’s time for Phase 2.’

‘Billy, look out! I gotta help him!’ ”
The transmission ended.

“Dude, that was an awesome movie.” Rick said.

“So, you think that this place is some movie set?” said Tim.

“Maybe.”

“Where did that guy go? I remember that they said something about virtualization and a virus, but I don’t think it’s possible to travel into the internet.” said Jessica.

“Hey guys, did you ever notice that door, right there?” Ellen said, pointing at a door.

“No, I didn’t. It’s like it appeared out of nowhere,” said Johnny.

“What is it with this place and doors?” said Tim.
Rick opened the door. The room was very small. There were 5 suits and another door.

“Dude, look at these suits! Totally sci-fi!”

“Hey, weren’t those the suits that those two guys in the video were wearing?” Ellen said.

“I think so,” said Tim, as Johnny was putting one of them on.

“Johnny, what are you doing?” Tim asked.

“Think about it. We get an e-mail telling us to come here, and then we find a computer with a weird video. Maybe whoever sent the e-mail wanted us to come here.”

“Yeah, but who could’ve sent the e-mail? That video ends with one of those ranger guys getting captured by some…thing. Maybe it’s a trap.”

“Or maybe… we’ll become Power Ranger dudes ourselves!”

“Rick, I highly doubt that will happen,” said Tim.

“Well, we’re not going to find out by just standing here,” said Johnny, who was about to enter the other room.

“Fine. Let’s just get it over with, “ said Tim, while putting a suit on.

“I have a feeling that this adventure will completely change our lives,” said Ellen.

“I just hope that this adventure won’t end our lives,” replied Jessica.

“Well, we put on the suits and we’re in the room. Now what?”

“Maybe we have to press this red button. Don’t you think that red is an awesome color? I mean, it’s the color of-“

“I’ll press it,” Ellen said, annoyed by Rick.

There was a very bright light. Then for two seconds, nothing.

“Dude, are we dead?”

“Would you stop saying dude?” Jessica said.

“Fine, dudette. Where are we?” Nobody could see anything.

“Look, another conveniently placed door,” Tim said. He opened it, and what they saw was like nothing they have ever seen before. Almost everything was white. They were in a futuristic room with bookcases. They looked out the window and saw what looked like flying cars zooming around.

“Incredible.” Johnny said, amazed.

“Welcome, we’ve been expecting you,” said a voice.

“They are here. Send the Love Bugs to destroy them. The day of destruction is coming soon. And you two! I want you to finish this by next week, or else.”
The two people were Billy and Ethan, who had collars around their necks.

“Yes, they did it. Now we’ll be able to get out of here,” whispered Ethan.

“If they survive,” Billy replied.

The 5 teens turned around. They saw a woman, one boy who was about their age, and two girls. But there was something different about them. Their skin was as white as a cloud, and they were wearing suits that were similar to the ones that they were wearing.

“Who are you?” Tim asked.

“I am Link. They are E, kIM and MAX. We are computer programs created by Billy Cranston and Ethan James. Welcome to the Internet.” the woman said.

“Wait, the Internet? The Information Super Highway?” said Johnny said, confused.

“I guess you really can go into the Internet,” said Jessica.

“Why are we here?” asked Ellen.

“6 years ago, Billy Cranston and Ethan James found out about a virus named Killer APP, who threatened the world. Billy and Ethan created a virtualization machine, to help delete the virus. When they got here, Killer APP’s soldiers captured them. We couldn’t do anything. Days before they were captured, they told us that if anything happened to them, we would go into the computers of Angel Grove, and search for teenagers who are worthy enough for the ranger powers that they created. Then, we would send e-mails to them to come here.”

“But why us? Why now? It was five years ago! Why… wait, did you say, ranger powers?” Jessica asked.

“Yes. You will become the new power rangers.”

The five teens looked at each other. They all felt confusion, and even fear.

“We can’t be rangers. We all have lives, and we definitely can’t defend the world. I don’t think that we’re ready for anything like this.” Tim said.

“That’s what a lot of past rangers said.” E said.

“We need you to help us.” said kIM.

“The world needs you.” said MAX.

It was very quiet for a while.

“I don’t know about you guys, but I’m in.” Ellen said.

“Me too.” Jessica said.

“I’m in.” Johnny said.

“Same here.” Rick said.

Everyone looked at Tim.

“I’m in.”

The four computer programs smiled.

“MAX, the morphers,” said Link. MAX handed her a box.

“These are your morphers. Ellen, you are the Pink Ranger. Johnny, you are the Green Ranger. Jessica, you are the Yellow Ranger. Rick, you are the Blue Ranger. And Tim, you are the Red Ranger. Together, you are the Micro Tech Rangers. To morph, you simply said, ‘Micro Tech, Activate.’”
Link gave the five teens their morphers. Suddenly, there was an alarm.

“Rangers, it’s time for your first battle.”

“Right! Micro Tech, Activate!”

They were transformed into the Micro Tech Rangers.

“Dude, this is totally awesome!”

“One of Killer APP’s generals, Hacker has appeared. Apparently, he knows you’re here. I’m teleporting you there.”
