Here it is, my 2003 Bandai perfect reproduction Abare Black jacket for sale! If you've got the Dinoguts, read on :023:

Before going on, I wish Zenoff64 well in his quest for the Abaranger jackets he's looking for and hope he can get them soon, so whatever assistance you can give I know he'll appreciate. Wish I could help further, but I only buy what fits me which limits what colors I'll get :)

Now to the skinny...

This is the Abaranger jacket [from 2003] with the brachiosaurus silkscreen front in size "LL" which roughly translates to an American size "Large." Or to put it another way, I'm about six feet and about 200 pounds, and while it's a little tight in places, LL can be worn by me, so it should give you some idea on whether you can fit it.

The double-breasted design allows you to zip it up with either the brachio or the Dinoguts logo visible!

I would like at least $375 for it. I know there's a lot of interest in this, so whoever can come up with the best offer please do so in PM.

I also have one of Bandai's first reproduction jackets which is incredibly rare: the all leather "Super GUTS" team jacket from Ultraman Dyna! Made like a motorcycle jacket with extra shoulder and chest padding and a "mil-spec" label, it [by coincidence] has got "ASUKA" emblazoned on the back [also in leather] with the Super GUTS patch on the right sleeve; and while it says it's size "L," it is in reality a "M" at the most -- it's really small.

As an example, the current Team DASH jacket from Ultraman Max retails for some 66,000[?] yen from Bandai/Lalabit [approx. $600 US]; so I'm going to want at least that. I've only seen one other jacket like this and none on Yahoo Japan, so in reality it's practically unique!

Shipping is extra, as I don't know how the ultimate buyer[s] will want to have them shipped. And unless you're local to me in Southern California, you'll need to buy full insurance.

On either one, it's highly doubtful I'll get them in the mail for receipt before Christmas unless you're willing to pay extra for overnight FedEx shipping...

Good luck!

Bob

I don't suppose you do payment plans? if you saw my other thread I spent 600 this month alone... so adding another 375 would just about be the end of me... but I'm extremely interested in Abareblack's jacket.

I'm an L, and 6' ft, 145 lbs, so I'm guessing it would fit. Have you ever had it washed before? I assume dry cleaned right?

To answer: I would prefer all at once to avoid possible problems mid-transaction.

I was your weight once, many years ago. For some reason, my old costumes no longer fit ;)

It will likely be loose on you, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I've been careful and haven't worn it much, but it has never been cleaned. I presume it should be dry cleaned [based on the label], both for the silkscreening and for the leather panels. It it's a possible issue, I'll have it cleaned before sending it out.

$375 is alot for it being used and with the actual retail price of $289 (At the time of the exchange rate when the jacket was released). Going by todays exchange rate it's $257. Then again it's just business.
