Here's a fan-fic i wrote a few months ago when i was still against using Mystic Force as the title. Enjoy!
In the city of Cigam, North Carolina, the local high school lets out classes for the day. As several students come rushing out the front door, one of them is 17 year old Christian Rodriguez. As Christian rushes down the street carrying his black and red backpack, he suddenly stops when he gets to the end of the block.
Christian: What is that smell?
Christian looks up at the window on the second floor and notices smoke coming from the window.
Christian: That house is on fire.
Christian pulls out his cell phone but suddenly hesitates.
Christian: I don’t have time.
Christian throws his backpack on the grass and makes his way to the front door. Without thinking, he enters the house and yells out.
Christian: Is anyone in here?
Christian notices the flames coming from the second floor. He covers his mouth from the smoke and quickly rushes upstairs.
Christian: Hello?
He then hears a woman cry out for help.
Woman: I’m over here! Help me!
Christian looks around but the room begins to fill up with smoke.
Christian: Where are you? I can’t see anything!
Christian begins to cough and choke on the smoke.
Woman: Please! Help me!
Christian continues to look for the woman. He holds his hand out in search of the woman.
Christian: Here! Grab my hand!
As Christian reaches out for the woman, he finally finds her and she grabs his hand.
Christian: Got you!
Meanwhile, deep beneath the ground, in the fallen shadows of the depths of the earth, there is a winged creature that flies lower and lower towards the ground. As she arrives at her destination, she arrives among several creatures that have just awoken from hundreds of years of sleep. The winged creature’s named is Vampyra. She is half vampire, half demon. As she looks up at all her fellow comrades, she begins to speak.
Vampyra: Ah, I see you all have finally awoken! Isn’t it good to be back?
As Vampyra speaks, another creature who is sitting on a throne behind her opens his one good eye, which is glowing bright red. He is the acting general of the underground clan known as the Infersha. His name is Brachion.
Brachion: Vampyra, you don’t waste any time, do you?
Vampyra: You know me so well, Brachion. I feel the need for revenge. We of the underground Infersha have been punished with a five hundred year sleep. Now, that is over and we are awakened! And the time has come for us to return to the surface!
Brachion: Huh? The surface? Ah, yes.
Brachion jumps up from his chair and approaches the crowds of underground beasts hovering in the shadows.
Brachion: Listen you fools! The time is now! Let us return to the surface and show them what true terror and fear are!
Everyone yells out in victory. Brachion yells out in celebration.
Vampyra: Yes.
Suddenly, a mighty warrior that has been watching from the shadows steps out and reveals himself to the others. He is the mighty warrior known as Wolzard.
MAGIC! It is a sacred power!
MAGIC! It is a journey into the unknown!
MAGIC! It is the proof of courage!

In the suburbs of Cigam, at the house of the Rodriguez family, the oldest son, Malakai is sitting at the table in the kitchen eating a large salad. As he eats, his sister, Andrea walks in. Andrea is the family’s oldest daughter just under Malakai.
Malakai: Hey, what’s the matter?
Andrea sits down and throws her head down on the table.
Malakai: Andrea, what’s wrong?
Andrea: I hate college! All of my teacher’s gave me homework today.
Malakai: So?
Andrea: It’s only the second day of classes.
As the two of them continue to talk, the third oldest sibling walks in.
Andrea: Gina?
Gina: Wassup?
Andrea: Can you help me later on? I have homework in all my classes.
Gina: I wish I could but I have homework too.
The fourth oldest child walks in and throws his backpack on the table.
Iden: We both do. And I only had half of my classes today.
Andrea: I wish I was a senior again. Being in college sucks.
Malakai: I wish I could say it gets better, but being a junior in college isn’t much fun either.
Andrea: The only good thing that happened today was that I got this really cute guy’s phone number in my history class.
Just then, their mother walks in.
Maria: And while you were getting this really cute guy’s phone number, did you bother to pay attention to the lecture?
Andrea: Ma, hey. Where did you come from?
The other three children laugh.
Maria: I’m a mother of five. Trust me, I’m always around. Iden?
Iden: Yes ma’am?
Maria: Where is your brother?
Suddenly a look of nervousness comes over Iden’s face.
Iden: Uh, you know how Christian is. You can never keep up with him.
Maria: Oh, Christian. I told him to come home right after school. He never listens.
Gina: We waited for him after school but he never showed up.
As the family tries to figure out where their youngest brother is, the phone rings. Maria leaves the table and picks it up.
Maria: Hello? Yes, this is Maria Rodriguez. Yes he is.
Suddenly, a look of panic comes over Maria’s face.
Maria: He did what?! Oh my god!
Malakai: Mom, what is it?
Maria: It’s your brother.
A few minutes later, a white mini-van pulls up in front of a house surrounded by fire trucks, police, and an ambulance. Maria and her four children jump out and rush onto the lawn.
Officer: Are you Mrs. Rodriguez?
Maria: Yes. Yes, I am. Where is my son? Is he ok?
Officer: He’s fine. He’s over there.
The police officer takes the family over to the back of the ambulance where Christian is sitting. A paramedic is putting a bandage on his arm where he was burned in the house fire.
Maria: Christian!
Maria runs over and hugs her son.
Christian: Ma! I’m…..I’m fine!
Maria: What in the world were you thinking? Running into a burning house?
Christian: I had to. The house was on fire and there was this lady that was screaming. She needed my help.
Iden: You could’ve just called 911.
Christian: Hey, who was talkin’ to you? At least I’m not all talk! I did what
I had to do!
Iden: That was a stupid thing to do.
Christian: Who you callin’ stupid?
Maria: Christian, Christian. Please, don’t do this now.
Christian: Well, Iden started it!
Maria: You still should have called the fire department. You could’ve gotten hurt.
Christian: Look, I’m fine. Really.
Maria: Ok. I just don’t want anything to happen to you. You’re my baby. My little boy.
Christian: Mom, I’m not a baby anymore.
A tear falls from Maria’s eye.
Maria: I know you aren’t. None of are anymore. Come on, let’s walk home.
As the family leaves, they heads towards there house just a few miles away.
Gina: So where is that woman at now?
Christian: Who?
Andrea: The one you saved.
Christian: Oh, they took her to the emergency room. I was lucky to get out when I did.
Malakai: So you never even met her?
Christian: Nope. But it doesn’t matter anyway. Just knowing I helped saved her life is enough for me.
Iden: I still would’ve at least called someone before I went rushing in.
Christian stops and turns towards Iden.
Christian: You just don’t get it, Iden. At first, that’s what I was gonna do. But every second counted. And to be honest, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Not because I wanted to be a hero, but because I know it’s what daddy would’ve done.
Andrea, Malakai, and Gina all smile.
Maria: Oh.
Suddenly, the family hears a strange voice utter a statement in a strange language as a bright purple light surrounds the family.
Voice: Uza Zazare!
Gina: What’s this?!
Maria grabs her kids and runs.
Maria: Quick! Run!
The six of them runs in the opposite direction as a large creature emerges from the purple light. It is an underground beast troll sent to wreak havoc on the area.
Malakai: Whoa! What is that thing?!
The beast troll begins to move towards the family.
Andrea: It’s getting closer!
As the family makes his way towards the local library, the troll smashes the side of the wall with his fist, causing several rocks and bricks to fall near the Rodriguez family.
Christian: Look out!
The siblings and their mother move out of the way just in time.
Maria: Hurry! Up the stairs!
Maria tries her best to get her kids up the stairs to the library and to safety. As the kids rush up the stairs, Maria stops at the bottom.
Maria: So, this day has finally come.
Gina: Mom, what are you doing?
Maria: Malakai, get your brothers and sisters and get them to safety.
Malakai: What? What about you?
Maria: Just do it.
The five siblings rush to the top of the stairs and hide behind a wall. As they watch their mother runs towards the beast troll, they look on with panic and worry. As Maria stops just right in front of the troll, she takes out a golden cell phone and cradles it in the palm of her hands.
Maria: Mystic Warriors, grant me the power of magic.
Maria opens the golden phone and enters the numbers “106”.
Maria: There’s a time for talk…..and a time for action. MAHOU HENSHIN! Maagi Magi Magiro!
Mystic Warrior: MAAGI MAGI MAGIRO!
As she presses ENTER on her phone, a bright white light surrounds her and she instantly transforms into a mighty warrior dressed in white.
Malakai: Mom!
Her kids are stunned to see their mother dressed as a Power Ranger.
Maria: Magician of Ice: MAGIC WHITE!
As beast troll begins to run towards the White Ranger, she quickly takes out her Ice Staff and points it at the troll.
Maria: Jiruma Majuna!
Using her Ice Staff, Maria freezes the troll and seconds later, it explodes. The White Ranger towards her children and snaps her fingers.
Maria: Checkmate!
Her five children quickly come running towards her.
Malakai: Mom, that was amazing!
Iden: How did you?
Gina: You were incredible!
Maria: Power down!
As Maria’s ranger suit disappears, she tries to calm her children down.
Maria: Calm down. I’ll try to explain. Come on.
Back at the house, Maria uses her golden phone once again.
Maria: Magika!
Using her golden cell phone, Maria shuts the door and closes the windows in the house.
Andrea: Oh, whoa! Mom, it’s like you’re some kind of magician or something.
Maria: But I am a magician.
Gina: What do you mean you’re a magician? There’s no such thing.
Maria: Oh, you know very little about our family.
Iden: What are you talking about?
Maria: What I just fought was a beast troll from the underground devil clan known as the Infersha. Or, in simple terms, a monster from deep under the earth. Years ago, I was given magical powers by the Mystic Warriors of the skies to fight creatures like that and to preserve the peace here on earth.
Malakai: Mystic Warriors?
Maria: Great and powerful magicians of the skies in charge of the peace of this planet. There was a mighty battle here on earth almost five hundred years ago. During this war, the Mystic Warriors defeated the Underground Infersha and banished them to a five hundred year sleep. But within that time, there were other creatures below that awakened and threatened the peace of Earth. Through my courage and bravery, I was one of few selected by the Mystic Warriors to harness their power and fight the Infersha.
Andrea: So where are the others?
Maria: As far as I know, I’m the only one left. And now that the rest of the Infersha have awakened, I alone will be no match for their army. I knew this day would come, but it’s come a lot sooner than I had hoped.
Malakai: Mom, what are you saying?
Maria opens her golden cell phone and points it at her four oldest children.
Maria: Magiro!
At her command, four bright lights surround the children and they are suddenly clothed in matching outfits, each coordinated by a different color. Malakai in green, wielding the symbol of a bull. Andrea has the color pink and wields the symbol of a butterfly. Iden has the color yellow and an eagle as his animal and Gina is given the color blue with the symbol of a dolphin.
Malakai: Whoa!
On their neck is a golden necklace which holds their specific color jewel.
Andrea: Mom, what is-
Before they can ask any more questions, their clothes are suddenly covered with long black robes that have a golden “M” embroidered on the front. In their hands appears a golden cell phone much like the one their mother has.
Malakai: Mom, what are these?
Maria: Those are your Magic Phones. With them, they will allow you to access the mythical world of Magitopia.
Iden: What for?
Maria: Ever since you were infants, I knew that someday the fight against the Infersha would arise again, and I would need help. I’ve been grooming you since you were young to fulfill your destiny as powerful magicians. With those phones, you will be given magic from the Mystic Warriors living in the skies. You will be known as the “Magic Force Power Rangers”.
Iden and Gina: Magic Force??
Malakai and Andrea: Power Rangers??
Christian suddenly steps in and yells at his mother.
Christian: Mom! What about me?
Meanwhile, deep in the forest, several creatures emerge on the surface from deep underground. These creatures are known as the Raptoids, evil footmen of the Infersha. As the Raptoids appear on the surface they begin to make their way towards the city.
Back at the Rodriguez home, Maria’s Magic Phone begins to beep. She opens it up and realizes that there is trouble.
Maria: Oh no. They’re coming!
Maria runs over to her four children.
Maria: Malakai, Andrea, Gina, Iden. Now is the time. You must go. You must fight.
Gina: Mom, you aren’t coming with us?
Maria: I can sense an extremely powerful evil magic at work. I must stay here and build up my magical energy so that I may be ready for when it arrives. So, right now, you four must go and fight.
Andrea shakes her head in disagreement.
Andrea: No! We can’t do this by ourselves! We need you there with us!
Maria: It’ll be ok.
Maria grabs their hands and hugs them.
Maria: You are my children. And as long as you have your family around you, you can face anything.
Malakai nods with understanding.
Malakai: Mom, we’ll do our best.
Maria: By chanting the phrase “Mahou Henshin” and then reciting the spell “Maagi Magi Magiro” it will allow you power from the Mystic Warriors. From there, you will know what to do.
Andrea: We can do this!
Iden: Whoa, whoa. Don’t speak for all of us. I don’t know if we can do this.
Gina: I guess we’re about to find out!
Gina pulls Iden by the arm and the four of them rush out the house and head for the woods. Christian turns towards his mother in anger.
Christian: Mom, why am I the only one left out?
Maria: Because, you are the youngest. You need to be here. Where it’s safe.
Christian: But I should be out there. With my brothers and sisters.
Maria looks at her son who begins to get tears in his eyes.
Maria: Chris, I know you feel that’s where you belong but after today, I’m not sure. You were so reckless today just rushing into that house fire. You could have easily been hurt. If you act like that in battle, it could be worse. One mistake and you might endanger yourself or the others. And that would scare me greatly.
Christian: But that’s just it! I’m not scared of anything!
Maria: There is a big difference between being scared and being reckless. One who has no fear, does not know true courage. And if you don’t have true courage, the magic will never work.
Christian: Forget it! I’ll help them somehow!
Christian turns and rushes out of the house. Meanwhile in the forest, the Raptoids begin to leave the forest. As the four siblings arrive, they are shocked by what they see.
Andrea: Gross! What are those things? They’re disgusting!
Iden: There’s too many of them!
Malakai: We have to stop them here! If they reach the city, innocent people could get hurt!
Iden: I still don’t know about this!
Malakai: Mom was right. There’s a time for talk and a time for action. Let’s do it!
Iden, Gina, and Andrea: Right!!!
The four of them throw their black magician robes into the air and take out their Magic Phones.
Malakai, Andrea, Gina, and Iden: Mystic Warriors, grant us the power of magic!!!!
On their phones, they enter the numbers “106”.
Malakai, Andrea, Gina, and Iden: MAHOU HENSHIN! Maagi Magi Magiro!!!!
Mystic Warrior: MAAGI MAGI MAGIRO!
As they press enter on their Magic Phones, a huge white light covers the siblings and the clouds above open up. Suddenly, a green, pink, blue, and yellow light shines down on them and they are infused with magic powers from above. As their ranger uniforms appear, they throw their capes into the wind.
All: MAGIC FORCE!!!!
As they each twirl their capes around, they announce their element and their ranger color.
Malakai: The Power of Earth shakes beneath me! Magician of Earth: MAGIC GREEN!
Andrea: The Power of Wind soars above me! Magician of Wind:
MAGIC PINK!
Gina: The Power of Water flows around me! Magician of Water: MAGIC BLUE!
Iden: The Power of Thunder roars before me! Magician of Thunder: MAGIC YELLOW!
Christian arrives just in time to see his siblings transform into Power Rangers.
Christian: They did it.
Malakai: Let’s go!
Iden: Right!
Gina: Right!
Andrea: Right!
The four of them rush towards the Raptoids and begin to fight.
Malakai: Time to get to work!
Malakai picks up a stick and tosses it into the air. He takes out his Magic Wand and casts a spell that causes the stick to wrap around the Raptoids.
Malakai: Gi Magika!
As the stick wraps around them, Malakai transforms his Magic Wand into a new powerful weapon.
Malakai: Magic Wand Axe!
Malakai uses his Magic Axe and slams it into the ground.
Malakai: Green Ground!
The force of the axe causes the Raptoids to explode on contact.
Malakai: Oh yea! That’s how we do it Green Ranger style! Checkmate!
Next up is Gina, who is standing in the center of the lake just beyond the forest. As she stands on the water, the Raptoids begin to enter the water.
Gina: Hope you all can swim!
Gina takes out her Magic Wand and thrusts it in the air.
Gina: Gi Magika! Blue Splash!
At her command, the water immediately explodes and the Raptoids go flying onto the ground.
Gina: Told ya! Hyah!
Gina begins to run full speed on the water then does a flying kick towards the last Raptoid. As she kicks him in the chest, he makes a huge splash into the water.
Gina: Checkmate! Andrea?
Andrea pulls out her Magic Wand and suddenly casts a spell.
Andrea: I guess that’s my cue.
Andrea uses her Wand to create a powerful tornado which strikes down around the Raptoids and swoops them up into the tornado.
Andrea: Pink Storm!
As the tornado carries the Raptoids up into the air, it suddenly disappears and they go falling into the ground. As they hit the ground, they explode on impact. Andrea blows them a kiss and waves goodbye.
Andrea: Checkmate.
Finally, Iden uses his quick thinking and raises his Magic Wand to the skies. As he casts a spell, his Magic Wand suddenly transforms.
Iden: Gi Gigiru! Magic Wand Crossbow!
As he points his crossbow towards the Raptoids, they begin to back up slowly.
Iden: Oh no you don’t! Yellow Thunder!
On Iden’s command, several streaks of lightning erupt from the sky and blasts the Raptoids into pieces. As Iden turns in the opposite direction, the last of the Raptoids explode.
Iden: Checkmate!
As Christian watches from behind a nearby tree, he is amazed.
Christian: Whoa! I can’t believe they actually did it!
Before the four newest Power Rangers can come together to celebrate, the sky suddenly turns black. Once again, they hear a voice utter a strange incantation.
Voice: Uza Zazare!
Christian watches as the ground near him opens up and a warrior wearing purple, black, and silver armor emerges from the ground. On each shoulder is a silver wolf. Christian suddenly ducks down in fear.
Christian: Who is that?
Back at the Rodriguez home, Maria sits in a dark room surrounded by a white light. She has on a long black magician’s robe and she is holding her Magic Phone in the palm of her hand. As she sits in darkness meditating, her concentration is suddenly broken. She opens her eyes quick with fear.
Maria: (gasps) He’s back. I can feel his evil presence once again! I just need a little more time. Rangers, do your best.
Back in the forest, the mighty warrior confronts the four Magic Rangers.
Iden: Who is that?
Malakai: Something tells me he’s not on our side!
Gina: Is that the evil mom was talking about?
The warrior suddenly raises his hand in front of him and mutters a spell.
Warrior: Gu Zazare!
In the blink of an eye, a metal shield and sword appears in his hand. The rangers are shocked.
Andrea: Did you see that? He’s like some kind of magician like us!
Warrior: Born of the shadows, created by evil! Magician of Darkness: I am Wolzard!
Iden: Magician of Darkness?
Gina: Wolzard?
As Christian watches, he suddenly begins to sweat.
Christian: Brothers, sisters, be careful!
Wolzard points his shield at the rangers and recites yet another spell.
Wolzard: Touza Wu Zazare!
At his command, the ground around the rangers explodes and they are thrown off their feet.
Christian: No.
As the rangers struggle to get up, Wolzard begins to walk towards them.
Malakai: Come on ya’ll, get it together.
Wolzard: There need only be one magician on earth. And that is me.
Christian watches with fear as Wolzard points his sword directly in front of Malakai.
Malakai: You won’t get away with this.
Wolzard: I already have.
As Wolzard raises his sword and prepares to strike down on Malakai, Christian picks up a rock and without thinking, he throws it at Wolzard.
Christian: Noooo!
Wolzard stops and looks in Christian’s direction.
Christian: Get away from them!
Christian runs over and stands between Malakai and Wolzard.
Christian: Leave my family alone!
Iden: Chris?
Back in her magic room, Maria opens her eyes and smiles.
Maria: Overcoming your fear to protect those you love. That is true courage.
Christian holds his arms out to cover his brothers and sisters.
Wolzard: You fool. What makes you think you can stop me? I’ll kill you right along with them!
Wolzard raises his sword and strikes down on Christian.
Wolzard: Ha!
Suddenly, a bright red light surrounds Christian and blinds Wolzard. As he is blinded by the red light, he misses and is thrown off his feet. As Christian lowers his arms and the red light disappears, he is now wearing a black magicians robe and has a golden Magic Phone is his hands.
Christian: Huh?
Maria smiles with pride as he sits in her magic room.
Maria: The moment one displays true courage, the magic will respond.
Christian throws his black robe into the air and prepares to transform.
Christian: My turn! Mystic Warriors, grant me the power of magic.
Christian opens his Magic Phone and dials the numbers “106”.
Christian: MAHOU HENSHIN! Maagi Magi Magiro!
Mystic Warrior: MAAGI MAGI MAGIRO!
As Christian presses ENTER on his phone, a bright red light surrounds him and his ranger suit appears on him. His brothers and sisters are amazed.
Malakai: Christian?
Gina: He did it!
Christian twirls his cape around and announces his element and color.
Christian: The Power of Fire burns within me! Magician of Fire: MAGIC RED!
Wolzard looks at Christian and laughs.
Wolzard: Magician of Fire? Ha. What a joke! Raptoids!
At his command, several Raptoids appear and begin to attack Christian.
Christian: Don’t worry. I got it from here!
Christian begins to uses quick punches and kicks against the Raptoids. He then takes out his Magic Wand and quickly transforms it.
Christian: Magic Wand Sword Mode!
Christian’s sword instantly changes into a long and powerful sword.
Christian: Hyah!
Using his sword he dashes past the Raptoids and knocks them one by one to the ground. As he turns around, he holds his sword into the air.
Christian: Red Fire!
A long flame ignites from Christian’s sword and he throws it directly at the Raptoids, destroying them on impact.
Christian: Checkmate!
As Christian yells out in victory, his siblings run over to him.
Christian: This magic is amazing!
Malakai: Christian that was incredible! Good job little brother.
Gina: You came just in time.
Christian: Yeah, I was pretty good, wasn’t I?
Iden smacks Christian in the back of his helmet.
Iden: Uh, you’re such a show off.
Christian: Hey, don’t hit me!
Wolzard: Not bad, Magic Rangers.
The rangers turn around to see Wolzard standing on a cliff above them.
Wolzard: But you magicians are no match for my power.
Christian: Oh yea? Well, you’re next Wolzard!
Wolzard: Come forth, Dark Horse, Drankoraus!
At Wolzard’s command, a large mechanical horse arrives and towers over the rangers. Wolzard jumps into the air and chants a spell.
Wolzard: Uza Touza Zazare!
With the spell cast, Wolzard combines with the Dark Horse, Drankoraus to form a new creation. Wolzard merges with the dark horse to become a centaur-like creature: half-horse, half-man.
Wolzard: Drankoraus BattleZord!
The rangers are suddenly frightened as the creature known as the Drankoraus BattleZord towers miles above them.
Christian: Oh!
Iden: Oh!
Gina: No!
Andrea: Ah!
Malakai: Whoa!
The BattleZord raises its hind legs and prepares to trample the rangers.
Christian: This can’t be happening!

Mandoro: Welcome to the Magic Force spell casting course. Today’s spell is the Transformation Spell, “Maagi Magi Magiro”. Using the Magic Phone’s, the Mystic Warriors of the skies will grant you the use of their magic and you will become the Magic Force Power Rangers! So who am I? You’ll find out soon enough! It’s still a secret!

In the city of Cigam, North Carolina, the local high school lets out classes for the day. As several students come rushing out the front door, one of them is 17 year old Christian Rodriguez. As Christian rushes down the street carrying his black and red backpack, he suddenly stops when he gets to the end of the block.
Christian: What is that smell?
Christian looks up at the window on the second floor and notices smoke coming from the window.
Christian: That house is on fire.
Christian pulls out his cell phone but suddenly hesitates.
Christian: I don’t have time.
Christian throws his backpack on the grass and makes his way to the front door. Without thinking, he enters the house and yells out.
Christian: Is anyone in here?
Christian notices the flames coming from the second floor. He covers his mouth from the smoke and quickly rushes upstairs.
Christian: Hello?
He then hears a woman cry out for help.
Woman: I’m over here! Help me!
Christian looks around but the room begins to fill up with smoke.
Christian: Where are you? I can’t see anything!
Christian begins to cough and choke on the smoke.
Woman: Please! Help me!
Christian continues to look for the woman. He holds his hand out in search of the woman.
Christian: Here! Grab my hand!
As Christian reaches out for the woman, he finally finds her and she grabs his hand.
Christian: Got you!
Meanwhile, deep beneath the ground, in the fallen shadows of the depths of the earth, there is a winged creature that flies lower and lower towards the ground. As she arrives at her destination, she arrives among several creatures that have just awoken from hundreds of years of sleep. The winged creature’s named is Vampyra. She is half vampire, half demon. As she looks up at all her fellow comrades, she begins to speak.
Vampyra: Ah, I see you all have finally awoken! Isn’t it good to be back?
As Vampyra speaks, another creature who is sitting on a throne behind her opens his one good eye, which is glowing bright red. He is the acting general of the underground clan known as the Infersha. His name is Brachion.
Brachion: Vampyra, you don’t waste any time, do you?
Vampyra: You know me so well, Brachion. I feel the need for revenge. We of the underground Infersha have been punished with a five hundred year sleep. Now, that is over and we are awakened! And the time has come for us to return to the surface!
Brachion: Huh? The surface? Ah, yes.
Brachion jumps up from his chair and approaches the crowds of underground beasts hovering in the shadows.
Brachion: Listen you fools! The time is now! Let us return to the surface and show them what true terror and fear are!
Everyone yells out in victory. Brachion yells out in celebration.
Vampyra: Yes.
Suddenly, a mighty warrior that has been watching from the shadows steps out and reveals himself to the others. He is the mighty warrior known as Wolzard.
MAGIC! It is a sacred power!

In the suburbs of Cigam, at the house of the Rodriguez family, the oldest son, Malakai is sitting at the table in the kitchen eating a large salad. As he eats, his sister, Andrea walks in. Andrea is the family’s oldest daughter just under Malakai.
Malakai: Hey, what’s the matter?
Andrea sits down and throws her head down on the table.
Malakai: Andrea, what’s wrong?
Andrea: I hate college! All of my teacher’s gave me homework today.
Malakai: So?
Andrea: It’s only the second day of classes.
As the two of them continue to talk, the third oldest sibling walks in.
Andrea: Gina?
Gina: Wassup?
Andrea: Can you help me later on? I have homework in all my classes.
Gina: I wish I could but I have homework too.
The fourth oldest child walks in and throws his backpack on the table.
Iden: We both do. And I only had half of my classes today.
Andrea: I wish I was a senior again. Being in college sucks.
Malakai: I wish I could say it gets better, but being a junior in college isn’t much fun either.
Andrea: The only good thing that happened today was that I got this really cute guy’s phone number in my history class.
Just then, their mother walks in.
Maria: And while you were getting this really cute guy’s phone number, did you bother to pay attention to the lecture?
Andrea: Ma, hey. Where did you come from?
The other three children laugh.
Maria: I’m a mother of five. Trust me, I’m always around. Iden?
Iden: Yes ma’am?
Maria: Where is your brother?
Suddenly a look of nervousness comes over Iden’s face.
Iden: Uh, you know how Christian is. You can never keep up with him.
Maria: Oh, Christian. I told him to come home right after school. He never listens.
Gina: We waited for him after school but he never showed up.
As the family tries to figure out where their youngest brother is, the phone rings. Maria leaves the table and picks it up.
Maria: Hello? Yes, this is Maria Rodriguez. Yes he is.
Suddenly, a look of panic comes over Maria’s face.
Maria: He did what?! Oh my god!
Malakai: Mom, what is it?
Maria: It’s your brother.
A few minutes later, a white mini-van pulls up in front of a house surrounded by fire trucks, police, and an ambulance. Maria and her four children jump out and rush onto the lawn.
Officer: Are you Mrs. Rodriguez?
Maria: Yes. Yes, I am. Where is my son? Is he ok?
Officer: He’s fine. He’s over there.
The police officer takes the family over to the back of the ambulance where Christian is sitting. A paramedic is putting a bandage on his arm where he was burned in the house fire.
Maria: Christian!
Maria runs over and hugs her son.
Christian: Ma! I’m…..I’m fine!
Maria: What in the world were you thinking? Running into a burning house?
Christian: I had to. The house was on fire and there was this lady that was screaming. She needed my help.
Iden: You could’ve just called 911.
Christian: Hey, who was talkin’ to you? At least I’m not all talk! I did what
I had to do!
Iden: That was a stupid thing to do.
Christian: Who you callin’ stupid?
Maria: Christian, Christian. Please, don’t do this now.
Christian: Well, Iden started it!
Maria: You still should have called the fire department. You could’ve gotten hurt.
Christian: Look, I’m fine. Really.
Maria: Ok. I just don’t want anything to happen to you. You’re my baby. My little boy.
Christian: Mom, I’m not a baby anymore.
A tear falls from Maria’s eye.
Maria: I know you aren’t. None of are anymore. Come on, let’s walk home.
As the family leaves, they heads towards there house just a few miles away.
Gina: So where is that woman at now?
Christian: Who?
Andrea: The one you saved.
Christian: Oh, they took her to the emergency room. I was lucky to get out when I did.
Malakai: So you never even met her?
Christian: Nope. But it doesn’t matter anyway. Just knowing I helped saved her life is enough for me.
Iden: I still would’ve at least called someone before I went rushing in.
Christian stops and turns towards Iden.
Christian: You just don’t get it, Iden. At first, that’s what I was gonna do. But every second counted. And to be honest, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Not because I wanted to be a hero, but because I know it’s what daddy would’ve done.
Andrea, Malakai, and Gina all smile.
Maria: Oh.
Suddenly, the family hears a strange voice utter a statement in a strange language as a bright purple light surrounds the family.
Voice: Uza Zazare!
Gina: What’s this?!
Maria grabs her kids and runs.
Maria: Quick! Run!
The six of them runs in the opposite direction as a large creature emerges from the purple light. It is an underground beast troll sent to wreak havoc on the area.
Malakai: Whoa! What is that thing?!
The beast troll begins to move towards the family.
Andrea: It’s getting closer!
As the family makes his way towards the local library, the troll smashes the side of the wall with his fist, causing several rocks and bricks to fall near the Rodriguez family.
Christian: Look out!
The siblings and their mother move out of the way just in time.
Maria: Hurry! Up the stairs!
Maria tries her best to get her kids up the stairs to the library and to safety. As the kids rush up the stairs, Maria stops at the bottom.
Maria: So, this day has finally come.
Gina: Mom, what are you doing?
Maria: Malakai, get your brothers and sisters and get them to safety.
Malakai: What? What about you?
Maria: Just do it.
The five siblings rush to the top of the stairs and hide behind a wall. As they watch their mother runs towards the beast troll, they look on with panic and worry. As Maria stops just right in front of the troll, she takes out a golden cell phone and cradles it in the palm of her hands.
Maria: Mystic Warriors, grant me the power of magic.
Maria opens the golden phone and enters the numbers “106”.
Maria: There’s a time for talk…..and a time for action. MAHOU HENSHIN! Maagi Magi Magiro!
Mystic Warrior: MAAGI MAGI MAGIRO!
As she presses ENTER on her phone, a bright white light surrounds her and she instantly transforms into a mighty warrior dressed in white.
Malakai: Mom!
Her kids are stunned to see their mother dressed as a Power Ranger.
Maria: Magician of Ice: MAGIC WHITE!
As beast troll begins to run towards the White Ranger, she quickly takes out her Ice Staff and points it at the troll.
Maria: Jiruma Majuna!
Using her Ice Staff, Maria freezes the troll and seconds later, it explodes. The White Ranger towards her children and snaps her fingers.
Maria: Checkmate!
Her five children quickly come running towards her.
Malakai: Mom, that was amazing!
Iden: How did you?
Gina: You were incredible!
Maria: Power down!
As Maria’s ranger suit disappears, she tries to calm her children down.
Maria: Calm down. I’ll try to explain. Come on.
Back at the house, Maria uses her golden phone once again.
Maria: Magika!
Using her golden cell phone, Maria shuts the door and closes the windows in the house.
Andrea: Oh, whoa! Mom, it’s like you’re some kind of magician or something.
Maria: But I am a magician.
Gina: What do you mean you’re a magician? There’s no such thing.
Maria: Oh, you know very little about our family.
Iden: What are you talking about?
Maria: What I just fought was a beast troll from the underground devil clan known as the Infersha. Or, in simple terms, a monster from deep under the earth. Years ago, I was given magical powers by the Mystic Warriors of the skies to fight creatures like that and to preserve the peace here on earth.
Malakai: Mystic Warriors?
Maria: Great and powerful magicians of the skies in charge of the peace of this planet. There was a mighty battle here on earth almost five hundred years ago. During this war, the Mystic Warriors defeated the Underground Infersha and banished them to a five hundred year sleep. But within that time, there were other creatures below that awakened and threatened the peace of Earth. Through my courage and bravery, I was one of few selected by the Mystic Warriors to harness their power and fight the Infersha.
Andrea: So where are the others?
Maria: As far as I know, I’m the only one left. And now that the rest of the Infersha have awakened, I alone will be no match for their army. I knew this day would come, but it’s come a lot sooner than I had hoped.
Malakai: Mom, what are you saying?
Maria opens her golden cell phone and points it at her four oldest children.
Maria: Magiro!
At her command, four bright lights surround the children and they are suddenly clothed in matching outfits, each coordinated by a different color. Malakai in green, wielding the symbol of a bull. Andrea has the color pink and wields the symbol of a butterfly. Iden has the color yellow and an eagle as his animal and Gina is given the color blue with the symbol of a dolphin.
Malakai: Whoa!
On their neck is a golden necklace which holds their specific color jewel.
Andrea: Mom, what is-
Before they can ask any more questions, their clothes are suddenly covered with long black robes that have a golden “M” embroidered on the front. In their hands appears a golden cell phone much like the one their mother has.
Malakai: Mom, what are these?
Maria: Those are your Magic Phones. With them, they will allow you to access the mythical world of Magitopia.
Iden: What for?
Maria: Ever since you were infants, I knew that someday the fight against the Infersha would arise again, and I would need help. I’ve been grooming you since you were young to fulfill your destiny as powerful magicians. With those phones, you will be given magic from the Mystic Warriors living in the skies. You will be known as the “Magic Force Power Rangers”.
Iden and Gina: Magic Force??
Malakai and Andrea: Power Rangers??
Christian suddenly steps in and yells at his mother.
Christian: Mom! What about me?
Meanwhile, deep in the forest, several creatures emerge on the surface from deep underground. These creatures are known as the Raptoids, evil footmen of the Infersha. As the Raptoids appear on the surface they begin to make their way towards the city.
Back at the Rodriguez home, Maria’s Magic Phone begins to beep. She opens it up and realizes that there is trouble.
Maria: Oh no. They’re coming!
Maria runs over to her four children.
Maria: Malakai, Andrea, Gina, Iden. Now is the time. You must go. You must fight.
Gina: Mom, you aren’t coming with us?
Maria: I can sense an extremely powerful evil magic at work. I must stay here and build up my magical energy so that I may be ready for when it arrives. So, right now, you four must go and fight.
Andrea shakes her head in disagreement.
Andrea: No! We can’t do this by ourselves! We need you there with us!
Maria: It’ll be ok.
Maria grabs their hands and hugs them.
Maria: You are my children. And as long as you have your family around you, you can face anything.
Malakai nods with understanding.
Malakai: Mom, we’ll do our best.
Maria: By chanting the phrase “Mahou Henshin” and then reciting the spell “Maagi Magi Magiro” it will allow you power from the Mystic Warriors. From there, you will know what to do.
Andrea: We can do this!
Iden: Whoa, whoa. Don’t speak for all of us. I don’t know if we can do this.
Gina: I guess we’re about to find out!
Gina pulls Iden by the arm and the four of them rush out the house and head for the woods. Christian turns towards his mother in anger.
Christian: Mom, why am I the only one left out?
Maria: Because, you are the youngest. You need to be here. Where it’s safe.
Christian: But I should be out there. With my brothers and sisters.
Maria looks at her son who begins to get tears in his eyes.
Maria: Chris, I know you feel that’s where you belong but after today, I’m not sure. You were so reckless today just rushing into that house fire. You could have easily been hurt. If you act like that in battle, it could be worse. One mistake and you might endanger yourself or the others. And that would scare me greatly.
Christian: But that’s just it! I’m not scared of anything!
Maria: There is a big difference between being scared and being reckless. One who has no fear, does not know true courage. And if you don’t have true courage, the magic will never work.
Christian: Forget it! I’ll help them somehow!
Christian turns and rushes out of the house. Meanwhile in the forest, the Raptoids begin to leave the forest. As the four siblings arrive, they are shocked by what they see.
Andrea: Gross! What are those things? They’re disgusting!
Iden: There’s too many of them!
Malakai: We have to stop them here! If they reach the city, innocent people could get hurt!
Iden: I still don’t know about this!
Malakai: Mom was right. There’s a time for talk and a time for action. Let’s do it!
Iden, Gina, and Andrea: Right!!!
The four of them throw their black magician robes into the air and take out their Magic Phones.
Malakai, Andrea, Gina, and Iden: Mystic Warriors, grant us the power of magic!!!!
On their phones, they enter the numbers “106”.
Malakai, Andrea, Gina, and Iden: MAHOU HENSHIN! Maagi Magi Magiro!!!!
Mystic Warrior: MAAGI MAGI MAGIRO!
As they press enter on their Magic Phones, a huge white light covers the siblings and the clouds above open up. Suddenly, a green, pink, blue, and yellow light shines down on them and they are infused with magic powers from above. As their ranger uniforms appear, they throw their capes into the wind.
All: MAGIC FORCE!!!!
As they each twirl their capes around, they announce their element and their ranger color.
Malakai: The Power of Earth shakes beneath me! Magician of Earth: MAGIC GREEN!
Andrea: The Power of Wind soars above me! Magician of Wind:
MAGIC PINK!
Gina: The Power of Water flows around me! Magician of Water: MAGIC BLUE!
Iden: The Power of Thunder roars before me! Magician of Thunder: MAGIC YELLOW!
Christian arrives just in time to see his siblings transform into Power Rangers.
Christian: They did it.
Malakai: Let’s go!
Iden: Right!
Gina: Right!
Andrea: Right!
The four of them rush towards the Raptoids and begin to fight.
Malakai: Time to get to work!
Malakai picks up a stick and tosses it into the air. He takes out his Magic Wand and casts a spell that causes the stick to wrap around the Raptoids.
Malakai: Gi Magika!
As the stick wraps around them, Malakai transforms his Magic Wand into a new powerful weapon.
Malakai: Magic Wand Axe!
Malakai uses his Magic Axe and slams it into the ground.
Malakai: Green Ground!
The force of the axe causes the Raptoids to explode on contact.
Malakai: Oh yea! That’s how we do it Green Ranger style! Checkmate!
Next up is Gina, who is standing in the center of the lake just beyond the forest. As she stands on the water, the Raptoids begin to enter the water.
Gina: Hope you all can swim!
Gina takes out her Magic Wand and thrusts it in the air.
Gina: Gi Magika! Blue Splash!
At her command, the water immediately explodes and the Raptoids go flying onto the ground.
Gina: Told ya! Hyah!
Gina begins to run full speed on the water then does a flying kick towards the last Raptoid. As she kicks him in the chest, he makes a huge splash into the water.
Gina: Checkmate! Andrea?
Andrea pulls out her Magic Wand and suddenly casts a spell.
Andrea: I guess that’s my cue.
Andrea uses her Wand to create a powerful tornado which strikes down around the Raptoids and swoops them up into the tornado.
Andrea: Pink Storm!
As the tornado carries the Raptoids up into the air, it suddenly disappears and they go falling into the ground. As they hit the ground, they explode on impact. Andrea blows them a kiss and waves goodbye.
Andrea: Checkmate.
Finally, Iden uses his quick thinking and raises his Magic Wand to the skies. As he casts a spell, his Magic Wand suddenly transforms.
Iden: Gi Gigiru! Magic Wand Crossbow!
As he points his crossbow towards the Raptoids, they begin to back up slowly.
Iden: Oh no you don’t! Yellow Thunder!
On Iden’s command, several streaks of lightning erupt from the sky and blasts the Raptoids into pieces. As Iden turns in the opposite direction, the last of the Raptoids explode.
Iden: Checkmate!
As Christian watches from behind a nearby tree, he is amazed.
Christian: Whoa! I can’t believe they actually did it!
Before the four newest Power Rangers can come together to celebrate, the sky suddenly turns black. Once again, they hear a voice utter a strange incantation.
Voice: Uza Zazare!
Christian watches as the ground near him opens up and a warrior wearing purple, black, and silver armor emerges from the ground. On each shoulder is a silver wolf. Christian suddenly ducks down in fear.
Christian: Who is that?
Back at the Rodriguez home, Maria sits in a dark room surrounded by a white light. She has on a long black magician’s robe and she is holding her Magic Phone in the palm of her hand. As she sits in darkness meditating, her concentration is suddenly broken. She opens her eyes quick with fear.
Maria: (gasps) He’s back. I can feel his evil presence once again! I just need a little more time. Rangers, do your best.
Back in the forest, the mighty warrior confronts the four Magic Rangers.
Iden: Who is that?
Malakai: Something tells me he’s not on our side!
Gina: Is that the evil mom was talking about?
The warrior suddenly raises his hand in front of him and mutters a spell.
Warrior: Gu Zazare!
In the blink of an eye, a metal shield and sword appears in his hand. The rangers are shocked.
Andrea: Did you see that? He’s like some kind of magician like us!
Warrior: Born of the shadows, created by evil! Magician of Darkness: I am Wolzard!
Iden: Magician of Darkness?
Gina: Wolzard?
As Christian watches, he suddenly begins to sweat.
Christian: Brothers, sisters, be careful!
Wolzard points his shield at the rangers and recites yet another spell.
Wolzard: Touza Wu Zazare!
At his command, the ground around the rangers explodes and they are thrown off their feet.
Christian: No.
As the rangers struggle to get up, Wolzard begins to walk towards them.
Malakai: Come on ya’ll, get it together.
Wolzard: There need only be one magician on earth. And that is me.
Christian watches with fear as Wolzard points his sword directly in front of Malakai.
Malakai: You won’t get away with this.
Wolzard: I already have.
As Wolzard raises his sword and prepares to strike down on Malakai, Christian picks up a rock and without thinking, he throws it at Wolzard.
Christian: Noooo!
Wolzard stops and looks in Christian’s direction.
Christian: Get away from them!
Christian runs over and stands between Malakai and Wolzard.
Christian: Leave my family alone!
Iden: Chris?
Back in her magic room, Maria opens her eyes and smiles.
Maria: Overcoming your fear to protect those you love. That is true courage.
Christian holds his arms out to cover his brothers and sisters.
Wolzard: You fool. What makes you think you can stop me? I’ll kill you right along with them!
Wolzard raises his sword and strikes down on Christian.
Wolzard: Ha!
Suddenly, a bright red light surrounds Christian and blinds Wolzard. As he is blinded by the red light, he misses and is thrown off his feet. As Christian lowers his arms and the red light disappears, he is now wearing a black magicians robe and has a golden Magic Phone is his hands.
Christian: Huh?
Maria smiles with pride as he sits in her magic room.
Maria: The moment one displays true courage, the magic will respond.
Christian throws his black robe into the air and prepares to transform.
Christian: My turn! Mystic Warriors, grant me the power of magic.
Christian opens his Magic Phone and dials the numbers “106”.
Christian: MAHOU HENSHIN! Maagi Magi Magiro!
Mystic Warrior: MAAGI MAGI MAGIRO!
As Christian presses ENTER on his phone, a bright red light surrounds him and his ranger suit appears on him. His brothers and sisters are amazed.
Malakai: Christian?
Gina: He did it!
Christian twirls his cape around and announces his element and color.
Christian: The Power of Fire burns within me! Magician of Fire: MAGIC RED!
Wolzard looks at Christian and laughs.
Wolzard: Magician of Fire? Ha. What a joke! Raptoids!
At his command, several Raptoids appear and begin to attack Christian.
Christian: Don’t worry. I got it from here!
Christian begins to uses quick punches and kicks against the Raptoids. He then takes out his Magic Wand and quickly transforms it.
Christian: Magic Wand Sword Mode!
Christian’s sword instantly changes into a long and powerful sword.
Christian: Hyah!
Using his sword he dashes past the Raptoids and knocks them one by one to the ground. As he turns around, he holds his sword into the air.
Christian: Red Fire!
A long flame ignites from Christian’s sword and he throws it directly at the Raptoids, destroying them on impact.
Christian: Checkmate!
As Christian yells out in victory, his siblings run over to him.
Christian: This magic is amazing!
Malakai: Christian that was incredible! Good job little brother.
Gina: You came just in time.
Christian: Yeah, I was pretty good, wasn’t I?
Iden smacks Christian in the back of his helmet.
Iden: Uh, you’re such a show off.
Christian: Hey, don’t hit me!
Wolzard: Not bad, Magic Rangers.
The rangers turn around to see Wolzard standing on a cliff above them.
Wolzard: But you magicians are no match for my power.
Christian: Oh yea? Well, you’re next Wolzard!
Wolzard: Come forth, Dark Horse, Drankoraus!
At Wolzard’s command, a large mechanical horse arrives and towers over the rangers. Wolzard jumps into the air and chants a spell.
Wolzard: Uza Touza Zazare!
With the spell cast, Wolzard combines with the Dark Horse, Drankoraus to form a new creation. Wolzard merges with the dark horse to become a centaur-like creature: half-horse, half-man.
Wolzard: Drankoraus BattleZord!
The rangers are suddenly frightened as the creature known as the Drankoraus BattleZord towers miles above them.
Christian: Oh!
Iden: Oh!
Gina: No!
Andrea: Ah!
Malakai: Whoa!
The BattleZord raises its hind legs and prepares to trample the rangers.
Christian: This can’t be happening!

Using the Magic Phone’s, the Mystic Warriors of the skies will grant you the use of their magic and you will become the Magic Force Power Rangers! So who am I? You’ll find out soon enough!
