Here's the stuff for "The Hunters". This is a crossover series that asks, "What if the Power Rangers existed in the DC Comics universe?"

The Rangers

*Grant Emerson is the Black Wolf Ranger. A veteran member of two teams of Teen Titans, the JSA and the Freedom Fighters, Grant has made the jump to yet another team. He has energy powers and has begun to manifest the powers of JLA and JSA members who donated DNA to him. He has begun to date Marissa.

*Marissa Bernstein is the Pink Falcon Ranger. The stepsister of Kim Hart, Marissa has extreme flexibility and the ability to always land on her feet. She is currently dating Grant and counts Wonder Girl, Supergirl and Stargirl as her best friends.

*Johnny Yu is the Blue Bear Ranger. Born to the Japanese hero Rising Sun, Johnny's cranial implants allow him to record and broadcast images through his eyes. He can also fire optic blasts for a limited period of time. Johnny's robotic brain is important in controlling the Zord formations.

*Alex McKay is the Yellow Cheetah Ranger. The cousin of Vixen, Alex is a speedster with the unusual ability to link with the Speed Force at will--a feat the the Flashes and Kid Flash aren't capable of. She is currently enamored of Kid Flash.

*Tony da Costa is the Red Tiger Ranger. As the nephew of Brasil's heroine Fire, Tony can create and project fire from his hands. He is Marissa's ex-boyfriend and is currently dating Supergirl thanks to Superboy's help.

*Psyche is the White Lion Ranger. She is an Amazon hidden away from the other Amazons for unknown reasons. With enhanced strength, speed and endurance, she is the equal of Wonder Woman, Troia and Wonder Girl.

*Kyle Rayner is the Green Dragon Ranger. After spending some time as Earth's sole Green Lantern, the simultaneous resurrections of Hal Jordan and Donna Troy allowed Kyle to take some time off and reunite with the love of his life. This new team was given to him by surprise, but he has grown used to his role as leader. His ring is merged with the classic Dragon Power Coin, allowing him to use both his Green Lantern powers (the ability to construct anything out of willpower energy) and the abilities of a reformatted Dragonzord.

(Note: during this story, Kyle and Grant will probably be the only DC characters that will appear in any main capacity.)

Weapons and Zords

The Hunter Ranger powers are the oldest known powers, and thus have some odd features. The Rangers do not have individual weapons; instead, they each have a dagger that slides into their left gauntlet. This dagger can be enlarged into a sword, and then converted into a variety of other weapons. Each Ranger's right gauntlet unfolds into a laser blaster. Kyle, Tony, Alex and Brian prefer to use their metahuman powers, while Psyche, Marissa and Johnny frequently use their weapons.

There are no battilizers yet, nor are there any vehicles.

The Zords are... complex. The Tigerzord, Lionzord and Dragonzord each become either a chest or a cannon. For example, in the Hunter Megazord Formation, the Tigerzord becomes the chest and the Lionzord and Dragonzord become cannons. The cannons can also be united into a battle staff for special attacks. The Falconzord becomes the top of the head and the upper arms. The Cheetahzord becomes the bottom of the head and the lower arms. The Bearzord becomes the waist and left leg; the Wolfzord becomes the right leg. If you need any help with the Zords, tell me and I can clear things up.

Johnny is very important in the Zord formation process. When he's in his Zord, he links up with a mainframe that converts him into a processor that analyzes the battle and decides what the best Zord combination would be. During battle, he monitors the formation's vital signs and suggests moves and finishers.

The Story So Far

Chronologically, "The Hunters" takes place right after Identity Crisis.

To be honest, the story of the Hunter Rangers is just beginning, as only the first four or five stories have been written. So I'll use this opportunity to delve into this version of the DCU. The original team of Rangers premiered right after Zero Hour, with the Zeo Rangers appearing during the death and return of Superman. Obviously, SPD has not happened in this timeline (it will happen, just not yet), so the Hunter Rangers are coming in right after the Dino Thunder Rangers.

Teams play a large part in this universe, and currently, there are six teams. The first is, of course, the JLA, which is the current League. The JSA, which is the current Society, comes next. Then we have the Teen Titans and the Outsiders, which are, again, just like they are now. The fifth team is Infinity Inc., which was formed just before the first story of "The Hunters". This team consists of Atom Smasher, Dr. Fate, Fury, Obsidian, Brainwave, Jade, Firestorm, Huntress and Connor Hawke in his new identity as Arrowsmith. The final team is the United Ranger Organization (commonly called "the United), which represents all ten Ranger teams--Original, Zeo, Turbo, Space, Galaxy, Lightspeed, Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder and Hunter. Two team leaders represent the team at a monthly council that is held by Superman.

There has always been bad blood between the Rangers and the other superheroes, especially the Justice League. Batman and Tommy Oliver have long had a feud; Batman considers the tactics of the Rangers to be juvenile, while Tommy has criticized Batman for his irresponsible and nearly treacherous actions in the "Tower of Babel" affair. The revelation that Dr. Light was mindwiped and retarded by a Justice League faction has not eased this gap. Things came to a head when Tommy Oliver and Kim Hart were removed as council representatives for the United and replaced by Kyle and Psyche after Superman changed the rules.

Now, on to the whole story so far.

Tommy and Superman squabbled at the yearly team organizing meeting and Tony set them straight. The Hunter Rangers got their powers and went to a party at Titans Tower, where relationships were begun. However, the party was interrupted by an orbital bombardment that signified the arrival of the intergalactic villain called Mantrexor. The Hunter Rangers fought him and his forces and earned his enmity. When Kyle went to survey the Zords the day after, he learned from Damon that Batman was constructing his own Rangers, called OMACs. After another climactic battle with Mantrexor that featured numerous Zord combinations, the Hunter Rangers returned to Earth to await their next mission.

Story: The year 3003 Jennifer Scott "Time Force Pink Ranger" decided to leave the Future and Start her own Future with Wes. She Decided to leave time force and Alex behind so she traveled back in time to the year 2004 (our Present Time). She said good bye to her friends Katie, Lucas and Trip and they said their good byes to Jen. Jen left in the time ship. Present Time 2004. The Story It is the year 2004 Wes Collins and Jennifer Scott Decided to live a happy life and start a family with each other and they eventually got married. Eric Myers and Taylor Earheart decided to become a couple all four lived in Silver Hills. Mr. Collins gave full Owner Ship of Bio-Lab and Silver Guardians to Wes. So Wes decided to holt on being Rangers for a while so he could run the Silver Guardians and Bio-Lab they found Replacements to help defend Silver Hills. Wes Collins Replacement is Bernard-Michael Hicks he is the New Time Force Red Ranger and New Leader of the Silver Guardians and Eric Myers Replacement is Christian Hall he is the New Quantum Ranger and is the new Commander of the Silver Guardians but a new threat is about to strike in the form of a Half-Mutant and Half-Cyborg. Vanessa Hicks and Kevin Douglas Mr.Collins former bussiness partner created the City Police Task Force. The Task Force were like the Police but with more weapons. The Task Force had their own Ranger. Patrick Cody Reed was the Leader of the Task force and Magnum Star Ranger. Cybrex rebuilt Frax and killed his Brother Ransik. Time Force created Three new Morphers. Alex kept one and gave the other two to Wes and Eric. Christian was cloned by Cybrex. His cloned Named Xavier was the Bio-Ranger. In the Final battle with Cybrex, Patrick was Killed by Cybrex. Christian killed Xavier. Alex, Katie, Lucas and Trip helped the Rangers. Nadira also helped. Frax & Cybrex are now in Time Force Custody. Bio-Lab has the Magnum Star Morpher. The City Police Task Force Joined the Silver Guardians. Vanessa Hicks brought back the Nick of Time Odd Jobs for Kids. She is also the Founder of Tomorrow Research Company. Now is the Year 2005 and the City of Silver Hills is Normal.

Story: Bernard is a very nice kid. Bernard did landscaping for a job. Bernard then moved out himself. He moved to Silver Hills with a Relative splitting with his Mother on bad terms. Bernard is very different from his Mother – He always had an attitude. Bernard was very religious. He was a Christian and he was being out of trouble.; whereas Mrs. Vanessa Christine Hicks cares about is the almighty dollar and things of that nature. Years ago During End of Time part two Bernard was saved by Wes from a group of Cyclobots. After this Bernard idolized Wes from that day. Bernard Joined the Silver Guardians. Later when Jen came back into Wes’s life and they both wanted to start a family and Wes’s Father Mr. Collins gave him full ownership of Bio-Lab and Silver Guardians. Wes needed someone to help protect the city. Wes told Bio-Lab Researchers to Reprogram the Chrono Morpher. Wes picked Bernard to be the Co- leader of the Silver Guardians and The New Red Ranger. The Chrono Morpher locked Bernard’s DNA. Bernard Become the third Red Time Force Ranger. Bernard helps defend the city of Silver Hills aganist evil. Bernard is a great fighter. Bernard is serious when in battle. Bernard does keep his team together. He's A really nice kid but he is some times very laidback. He lives in the city of Silver Hills.

Eric and Taylor decided to become a couple and he picked Christian to become the Quantum Ranger and Co-Leader of The Silver Guardians. Christian is the Second Quantum Ranger.

Story: She was a cheerleader in high school. Then she wanted to do something more with her life. After High School she joined the Silver Guardians and she became third in command. Jen admired her determination and heart. Since Jen was now having a baby she picked Carmen to be the new Time Force Pink Ranger. It was given to her out of respect by Jen. Carmen is now The Second Time Force Pink Ranger.

Story: The Legend Wesley Collins is the head of Bio-Lab and Silver Guardians. Wes was a spoiled rich kid from Silver Hills. He had it all - his father owns the corporate conglomerate known as BioLab, he lived in a posh mansion with a chauffer who drove him anywhere, and a had servants who would attend to his every need. A chance encounter with Time Force changed his life. Soon after arriving in 2001, the Time Force team got into a fight, and Jen was in trouble. Only with the aid of Wes, who came to her rescue on his motorcycle, was Jen able to make it out alive. It just so happened that to unlock their Chrono Morphers, Time Force needed the Red Morpher activated, but this could only be done by someone with a genetic resemblence to Alex, its original owner. Luckily, Wes fit the bill, but he declined to help when Jen first asked him, not believing any of it. Time Force went after Ransik without any powers, and was losing. Wes appeared just in time, and decided to help them out after all. He morphed into the Red Ranger, and the others soon followed, and Power Rangers Time Force was born. Three years ago During End of Time part two Wes saved Bernard from Cyclobots. Wes and The Rangers defeated Ransik three years ago. Wes and Jen fell in love with each other, but neither would admit it. It was at their final goodbye that they finally revealed their feelings for each other. Wes continued to fight crime in Silver Hills as the Red Ranger, and co-leader of the Silver Guardians, alongside his friend Eric. When Jen Came back into his life they got together and eventually got married. Wes’s father Mr. Collins gave him full ownership of both companies. Wes decided to give Bernard the Chrono Morpher and Become the New Red Ranger and Silver Guardians Co-Leader. Wes helps the city anyway that he can. Alex came back to the past to give Wes another Chrono Morpher. He became the Strata Time Force Ranger for a Brief Period of Time. Now he has a Son and a Daughter with Jen.

Position: Bio-Lab executive.

Story: Years ago, the underpriveleged Eric attended a posh private school with Wes, his only friend at the time. Fed up with being shunned for not coming from a wealthy background, Eric dropped out, leaving Wes behind. Since then, Eric has joined Mr. Collins' elite defense unit, the Silver Guardians, and has had run-ins with the Rangers on several occasions, once even discovering Wes' identity as the Red Ranger. The ambitious Eric was not content with merely being a soldier on the team. He wanted to be leader. He achieved his goal after obtaining the Quantum Morpher and becoming the Quantum Ranger, as well as gaining control of his own Zord - the Q-Rex. Mr. Collins had little choice but to appoint him leader. Eric dishes out his own brand of justice in Silver Hills, clashing with the Rangers each time. Eric lives a lonely life with no friends or family, making him a very bitter and distant person, but when push comes to shove, Eric always does the right thing. After being injured taking a blast meant for Wes and his father, Eric passed on the Quantum Morpher to Wes, so he could use it to control of the Q-Rex and summon the Quantum Defender. With peace restored in Silver Hills, and Eric back in good health, he regained the Quantum Morpher, and teamed up with Wes to co-lead the Silver Guardians. The good friend of Wes. Eric finally got together with Taylor EarHeart. Eric picked Christian to be the Quantum Ranger. He was given the Vector Morpher by Alex. He was the Vector Ranger for a brief period of time to Stop Cybrex. He is married to Taylor Earheart.

Special Police Dekaranger (Singapore) was formed in November 2004, as a specialist line unit under the direction of the Singapore Police Force, with funding from Interpol and the Space Police.

The reason for forming the unit was due to the rising surge of alien-related crimes on Earth, and there came a need to have a Force dedicated to stopping them and preserving the prosperous economy of the Earth. This in turn, produced a surge of new Dekaranger units covering various areas of the Earth, to minimise workload on each department.

Since July 2005, all the operating Dekaranger units on Earth came under an "Earth Division", which made it easier to facilitate command of the various units.

Lionzord
Nick, the Red Ranger controls the Lionzord. The Lionzord has sharp steel claws and a red barbwire mane. Lionzord can shoot a ring of fire from its mouth and runs at 450 miles per hour. It forms the head and left leg of the Jungle Megazord.

Gorillazord
Ariel, the Yellow Ranger controlls the Gorillazord. It can leap over 320 yards into the air and is one of the most powerful creatures in the galaxy. Gorillazord can send earthquake waves through the ground at its enemies. It forms the right leg and torso of the Jungle Megazord.

Pantherzord
Jeff, the Black Ranger controls the mighty Pantherzord. It can race at 700 miles per hour and can transform into a shield and a gun. It can shoot various beams out of its mouth and eyes. The Pantherzord breaks in half to form the arms of the Jungle Megazord.

Hawkzord
Stephanie, the Gem Ranger controls the Hawkzord. Winston, the Gold Ranger sometimes travels along with her in the Hawkzord, since he doesn't have a Zord of his own. It travels at 700 miles per hour and can withstand over 13,000 degrees in farhenheit. Hawkzord has the ability to create Invisi-Portals and wormholes. It also has heatseeking vision and a unique battle mode, where it gains a humanoid robot form.

So basically, the plot is this.


-Toxx steals Magnum Star Morpher from the Bio Lab in attempt to gain enough power to destroy any Ranger threats in the area. He can't afford them getting in the way of rebuilding the Machine Empire.

-Rangers are introduced

-Toxx and Cogs are attempting to rebuild King Mondo. However, King Mondo is too powerful and scares Toxx off.

-The new and improved Machine Empire set their sights on taking over the galaxy and seeking revenge on the Power Rangers.

-Rangers are called into battle.
