Custom A-Squad Morpher License

I am going to be making a custom A-Squad morpher soon but just wanted to show a little comp i did of the designs im thinkin about. Im going to be using the US Delta morpher (since theres no sense messing up a perfectly fine SP License) and the modified shape and size go well with the A-Squad design and the fact that its different from B-Squads. The color strips would be changed for each different ranger color. Anyway, heres the composits i did, hopefully ill get started on the real thing in a day or so.

although i don't like the A-Squad, i think the 3rd design works best. its easier on the eye than the other two.

To be honest I don't like any of those 3 designs. But, I think the 3rd one looks best - but what do I know? (Don't answer that).

I like the lettering on the first one, but the second ones "A-Squad" and 3 lines.

Out of those three, I like the first one the best. I don't like "A Squad" being on the front of any of them, though. I like the design of 1, but with a solid colored stripe continued where "A Squad" is now.

yea i agree with Stevie H first one for sure, it would be cool tho if they had a design of the dog badge but replaced the Dog with the letter "A"

i second that i would do the same with my patrol morpher my techniques are crap in that area, and plus the fact that i sanded down the front lol

i think the best way to do their morphers would be get shadow mrophers and change the lettering to ranger specific colors.....bsquad never had "b squad" on their morpher, so why would asquad?

because A squad are the first and highest. you would wanna show of A, but would you wanna show off B? It also goes along the same lines as Fire Squad from Dekaranger which was on a morpher as F.S, and everything about A Squads costumes was elaborate and overdone random squares and shapes on their armor, which is why i designed it like that. I mean, they even had giant "A"s on their shoulders and chest.

Got started on it, took the thing apart (lotsa friggn springs in there) and painted the white areas a metal-flec metallic gunmetal black. Still deciding what label i like...the ones shown were just black and white prints colored with marker quick to get the general idea and placed on top.

looking nice cant wait to see it complete, i wish there was a way the lettering could be made to stand out like on the morpher itself where the SPD is protruding out i guess you would have to check out custom lettering makers to do that i bet

Alright, did some more redesigning and i think this is what im gonna go with, it flows more with the shapes between the sirens on the morpher. Might still make it just "A-S" but for now this is it. The gray backgrounds on the others just wasnt gonna look good on print, and i cant print in silver so, black looks best to me. the 3 sections on top are silver. And it made sense to me to leave it only having 2 modes, with the idea that back then they didnt really need a phone mode, thats more of a luxery, they just needed the basics, change and judge.

I like this design the best. It flows better with the design of their A-Squad Morphed suits.

uhm...its mostly a conversion, ill need to see what more is needed done to the faceplate, will prolly have to grind it down flat,but otherwise its really just stuff anyone can do themselves, its just the graphic that you need...but last time i shared graphics they ended up on ebay so...

by the way, i found a set of the old motocross armor they used for A-Squad's chest protectors, shoulder, back, and upperarm armor :D

Say Kylash is the lettering on the morpher going to be a sticker or are you going to paint it on?

a sticker, otherwise id have to grind it all flat, get it mirror smooth, then hand paint letters... much easier and cleaner to just grind it down and slap on a computer generated measured and precise sticker.

im thinking of using thin card like a styrene sheet cutting it and then painting and pasting onto the front thats what i meant to say in the previous post lol, it would make it look alot more better and stand out nicelly i reckon if done right, ive used a computer print cut out and it turned out crap the Black print out turns out light black/grey

Looks awesome man. I'm thinking I may modify one of my Delta Morphers to replace the "phone" plate with an ID plate, and try and add a green LED that'll flash during change mode.

yes i made, it i didnt just FIND it... you have to MAKE things to have them, and I dont share anymore, not since my graphics end up on ebay (check out the Dragon Buckler someone here is selling) dunno about doing other peoples...still messing with mine. Let me finish my SPD shirt run first and Ill think about it...but i like having something no one else does :D

one question, does anyone know how to put a photo on the blank scan of a profile card? on the green matrix. Just the persons head, nothing else.

Simple, you get a blank profile card and a digital photo with the head you want on it. Then you cut the head out of the photo with an image editing program like photoshop and put the cut-out head on the profile image.

I managed to do that within about 15 minutes.

I did. Photoshop has a nice thing called a backgroung eraser. It makes cutting out heads a little easier.

You trace the eraser around the head it should remove everything except the head.

I like the SPD on the first morpher and the A-Squad Line on it aw well, but I don't line the black lines. I think there should be Change and Judge on it just like the others.
