View Full Version : Fanfic of the Month Nominations: November

Well, it's almost the end of the month, so I decided to put up the nominations thread since no one else has yet just so the poll doesn't run too much into December. I'll still let Kali or y3k or whomever still make the poll.

You guys know the rules, but if you don't:

1. Fanfics nominated must have been updated this month.
2. Two nominations are required to make it to the polls.
3. At least one nomination for each fic must have a link to the said fanfic. Also, include the author's name. This is just to make it easyer to see if the first rule is true, and so we can post the correct author in the poll.
4. The poll is useually up a week after the nominations are opened, so I'm guessing this will be no different.
5. You cannot nominate your own fic.
6. You can nominate more than one fic.

Just a reminder that the nominations for last month were almost closed, so if you have complaints, please leave it out of the thread. If you want you can PM or IM me or other ppl who have run FFotM about suggestions to make it better.

I thinks it's wonderful that me and BattleRanger have been working hard to put together the 2006 Fanfic Awards and no one seems to give a crap, I thought a lot of people wanted them, but I guess not. Maybe multiple categories is too tough of a concept for some of you to grasp. But you all can sure as hell nominate for this damn trouble causing contest. Whatever.

Agreed. That's why I we'll probably just pull the voting out the hands of the fans and just build a comitte to vote. We decide who's eligible and we'll post the winners in an awards thread. But whatever, if you want your fav fic to win, you better go vote. Make this something big, something Rangerboard deserves. With or without you, we'll have our contest.

I sense the tension in you both, Battle Ranger and arctic-fury. lol. Seriously. It's just a poll in the end. Over the year, it'd be hard to recall characters or plots that would apply to the said category anyway. Maybe the month-to-month poll would be best, just for memory purposes.

10-4. That's why we'll nominate a comittee to select the fanfics. People dedicated enough to search through the fanfics nominated, picking the best of the best. Then you'll all get to vote in the end on who takes home the titles.
