Kits were avalible for a while, but it was made off a white ranger costume mask. It still looked pretty decent though, but still not as close at a pull from an original, which I've never seen in my days of helmet collecting. You may want to shoot for another helmet as they're much easier to find.

And since your new here I'll let you know this: Helmets are expensive. Expect to pay anwhere from $250-$400 for a kit that needs sanded, filled, and painted or $500-$900 for a completed helmet.

there is someone around here that has a white movie helmet, but is up to him to cast it and pop up, so probably just a matter of time.

The thing with this seller's helmets going for so low is, I believe, because he ripped off some people here including me. Last year, I paid or a loot of items and he never sent jack-squat. He also stopped replying E-mails. I filed a complaint with Paypal, but he didn't even reply to that. He has done this to other heavy-weight bidders; therefore, we are staying away from his auctions, making his winning bids minimum. Fool me once, shame on him. Fool me twise, shame on me. It's a shame, for I bought craploads of props off him in the past.

I saw that you and kylash bought stuff off him before, I was checking this guys past feedback...

Now you are saying he has gone bad?

What kind of props did he used to offer?

Same stuff he has now. Armor parts, boots, spare pieces, etc. He went Awol on me. I e-mailed him last week. He said he will send me what he owes me and asked me for a list of items. I haven't heard back from him after I replied. I doubt I will ever see my stuff or my money back. I will keep bugging him and keep you all posted.

When i got my items from him the first time he showed up, it took a while and they explained to me it was because they found out the guy who was running the accoutn was doing some bad stuff, so they had to get the stuff out he didnt do and get someone else to take care of the account, and now theyre selling again, so who knows.

Up in the FAQ
while it doesn't flat out say "DON'T" still

2) Find something cool on eBay?
-Is it a GOOD DEAL? Is it a RARE ITEM? Unless you're the seller, it's probably best to keep it to yourself. You never know if a fellow board member is already bidding on it, and posting an auction might increase competition... and promote a bidding war. eBay lists their auctions on their own site... There's no real need to re-advertise them here, unless you are the seller.
If you still feel that you need to shed some light on an auction, perhaps it's best if you:
-Don't post direct links to the auction itself
-Wait until the auction is over
Also...
-Interesting/humorous finds are great, but try not to swamp the board with them

And well, if a seller has one? perhaps he sells other simular items. I know I try to sell several simular items at once...

That would be recasting.

hmmm im getting mixed messages from this thread so the seller props256 is trust worthy ?

also being that the items are rare as hell aka the movie helmets is recasting bad tho even tho there cast from the originals ? i mean its funny subject if there actually from the stunt and movie suits but, the look of those on the ebay auctions are recasts from them. either way hope people get what they want

Well said!!! All these "announcements" do is make us all pay more, whoever wins it.
