Millenia ago, deep in the jungle a crystal was created from the powers of light. Five protecter beasts were also made to watch over the crystal and make sure the crystal didn't fall into the hands of darkness. For a few thousand years, nobody knew about the crystal. But now the Darkside Army led by the evil King Balthazor, intend for the powers of the crystal to be theirs.
But during a trek through the jungle, 3 teens: Rick Thomas, Lance Masters and Andrea Matthews stumble across three of the five shards of the crystal. They become the Power Ranger Beast Force.
