i think both these fics are real good, but for different reasons. both are regarded as among the best rewrites in this forum right now, it seems.

i thought it would be cool to have a thread talking about comparisons of the two? which is stronger in what areas? that type of thing.

so what are your thoughts? :confused:

By Power Rangers new Interpretation, am I to understand we're taling about my story? That's cool (if I'm not misunderstanding things- Crimson Tide is doing an "ANI" of Turbo). Ryu's a great writer so it's a compliment in no uncertain ways for you to see similarities in the stories and the quality with which their told, and not just the fact that we've got some of the same characters. I do think that there' enough differences that allow for these stories to make a clear stand separate of each other's.

I haven't read much of Ultimate Power Rangers, but I think TSoldier is going the right route with retelling the story from the beginning. In that respect and that the man is a hell of an author, I'm going with A New Interpretation.

ryu retold the story from the beginning, and hes already up to season 7. this includes a retelling of zeo, turbo, galaxy, time, dairanger, kakuranger instead of ninjaranger, space, including a kick-ass countdown to counstruction, and this second countdown to destruction, all linked together. and he has all the metal heroes and kamen riders.
