A couple things to note before reading part 3. The main focus of this installment's going to be Alex and his self discovery. There's going to be a few scenes with everyone else, but the main part of it is Alex.
And another thing to note is that later in the story, there are going to be special appearances by other Rangers (I won't spoil and say who), so keep reading to find out. As always, let me know what you think about the direction the story's taking.
Devious.

Year 3002...
The long corridors of the Time Force headquarters on Earth always served Alex as a second home. A home away from home. He always liked the walk down the corridors, it gave him a sense of familiarity that he never got once he left these walls. Now, as he was escorted by two Time Force officers more stringent on the laws and regulations than he now was, Alex only wished to be away from here so he could begin to start his life.
To live it for the first time.
But before he could get that started, he had to deal with General Teague and the mystery behind what happened to those officers and Captain Logan. The two officers stopped at a set of closed steel doors. The officer who stood up to him, Officer Maxwell Green, punched in a series of keys and the doors opened. He motioned for Alex to enter. Alex needed no words, he walked through the doors into a hallway of about twenty feet, then they came to another set of double steel slide doors.
Alex knew what these doors were. On the other side was the General's office. And they opened just as the three of them came to a stop. Alex took a few steps inside the door and he waited. He saw General Teague immediately. The older officer had his back to him, was facing the long window opposite Alex that was fitted into the spacious office to act as the wall. A perfect view of the Silver Hills city was seeable from this office.
"General Teague, sir," Officer Green said, "Alex Drake as requested."
Without turning around, General Teague responded. "Thank you Green, that will be all."
General Teague's voice was deep toned and carried a British accent that Alex knew well. He'd heard it many times in the past. The two officers turned and walked out of the large spacious office, leaving the General and Alex alone, for the time being.
Alex didn't speak, he knew proper Time Force protocol. He had to wait for the General to speak first. That's what he would and did do. For several long moments, there was nothing but silence in the top level office. General Teague stayed facing the window, his hands linked together behind his back. And for several seconds, it stayed that way. Then, the General spoke. "Commander Drake," his British toned voice carried over, "is it or is it not true that you broke Time Force protocol today?"
Alex stared at the General's black leather jacketed back as he answered. "I used my judgement to make the decision, sir."
At this, General Teague did turn around and Alex could feel the aura of authority that virtually surrounded the man. General Teague was a man in his upper forties, with a head full of gray hair and a gray beard and mustache. He was broad shouldered and some upper muscles, but not many. He wore the typical golden Time Force uniform that most upper officers of Time Force wore. Over it, he wore a long leather jacket that went from his shoulders to his knees. General Albert Teague's deep brown eyes gleamed. "Your judgment?" his voice rang back, "Don't you think that after today, your judgment is a bit clouded?"
Alex took a moment before he answered. "Sir, I have always kept my personal life separate from my professional duties."
The General walked around his desk, towards Alex. "And yet, you allowed the Time Force Rangers to escape custody."
Alex didn't answer, he just stayed quiet.
"Alex, you are a trained Time Force officer, what's more, you are a Commander.....how could you be so stupid and let this happen!"
"General, I have known Lucas, Trip, Katie, and Jen since they graduated the Academy. More than that, I know them. I know them. They are not capable of the atrocity of what happened that night. General, it was never even perceived that they could have been innocent. The Tribunal wanted someone convenient to blame to satisfy Central Headquarters and those Rangers were perfect to fit that bill. We never even bothered to question any other alternative other than that they were guilty."
"They are guilty!" General Teague's voice boomed.
"Their guilt is in question, sir!" Alex thundered.
"Only by you," General Teague walked back to his desk, "the Time Force Rangers are the main suspects into the assault at headquarters and the possible homicide of Captain Logan and now, you are guilty of aiding in their escape. Not only that, but in so doing, you have enabled them to have control of powerful Time Force technology and arsenal, the Time Fliers Commander. You have broken serious Time Force laws and regulations and you will be held responsible for those actions."
This, Alex was prepared for. "Sir, I do not dispute my actions. I take full responsibility for them. That is why I am asking you, sir, to let me take the Time Shadow through the time portal and bring them back in."
General Teague laced his fingers together. "No. Commandant McAllister at Central Headquarters on Eltare is dispatching his own team to travel through the time portal from here. They were recapture the Time Force Rangers and bring them back in to face their crimes."
"And me?" Alex's voice held the question.
General McAllister studied Alex for several seconds. "You will be arrested and taken to Dr. Raymond's for criminal evaluation immediately. What you have done is an act of treason and it will not be tolerated."
Alex's eyebrows shot way up. "Treason! General, I have never acted against Time Force and this was not against Time Force. I am not a traitor!"
General Teague smiled. "Thank you, Alex."
Confusion swept through Alex. "What?"
"Thank you," the older officer repeated, "I needed a way to prove without question in the eyes of Time Force that the Rangers were guilty and you have done that. An act of escape is the ultimate statement of guilt and there is no question now. And you have played into it perfectly."
No. Alex's mind thought. "You mean...."
"Yes. I'm not going to go into detail as to the true events of what happened, but I will say this. An experiment was being conducted when your ex girlfriend returned to headquarters. The experiment was a success, but Captain Logan's interference was unexpected. When it was over, I knew there had to be someone to take the fall for it. The Rangers presence at headquarters was exactly what I needed."
Alex stepped backward, too stunned to even breathe. He felt a sudden prick at the side of his neck and he turned, his vision immediately beginning to blur. His foggy vision could just barely make out Dr. Raymond's face as he stumbled to the ground, unconscious.
"What do you want done with him, sir?" the dark haired doctor asked.
General Teague looked down at Alex. "Get a gurney down here and take him to your labs. I want his memory altered. He is not to remember anything past the Tribunal's ruling of the Rangers. Understand?"
"Yes sir."
"I'm going to have four Time Force officers escort you and him to the labs. Conduct the memory altering immediately and notify me when it is finished." General Teague ordered.
"As you wish, General." the doctor obeyed.
As the General stared down at Alex's fallen body, he wondered what he was dreaming about. Was it a nice dream or was it visions of this meeting playing through his mind? In the end, the General knew it didn't matter. Soon, Alex Drake, the great Commanding officer of Time Force, wouldn't remember any of it at all.
And that's just what General Teague wanted.
*****
Fifteen Minutes Later...
Doctor Kelton Raymond now had Alex on a gurney and he, with an assistant, were wheeling the guryney down the long corridors, trying to get the Time Force Commander to the laboratories on the lower levels so Raymond could carry out the General's orders. TF Officer Green and three other officers were on both sides of the gurneys, wheeling it down the corridors. Dr. Raymond knew it would be too long before the man on the gurney would begin to regain conciousness, so he tried to hurry them.
"We must hurry, the drug will wear off soon." the doctor said in a flourish.
"Relax doctor, we'll take care of him, even if he does wake up." Officer Green said.
Raymond gave him a look, but didn't speak any further. He knew that, for whatever reasons, Green had the General's favor and to speak against Green wouldn't be wise for the doctor. They continued through the corridors, getting closer to the labs.
Alex's eyelids began to slowly and very weakly, open. His vision was extremely blurred and his foggy recognition could barely make out any figures, but he felt the weakness in his body, the way his strength was vastly dissipating, how he seemed to pass out instantly after feeling the prick at his neck and he knew what had happened. He had been given a strong dose of a drug designed by the Time Force science division. He wasn't sure what drug was used, but his cloudy mind weakly identified Ritinexogen as a possible choice.
Foggily, he could make out some sounds around him. The sound of wheels on the ground, of a little air rushing across the skin of his face, vague voices that seemed to be close, yet far away and as he forced his eyes to open wider, he saw the doctor, Raymond, with Time Force officers. Alex didn't know what was going on, but he wasn't going to wait to find out. He felt something long and solid against his back, so he figured to himself that he was on a gurney and he had vague recollections of the meeting with the General, so he knew he didn't have that much time left.
Summoning up all the strength he could muster, he took a deep breath and his body acted. His hands gripped the rails that ran along the gurney, and his lower body elevated upwards, his legs extending out with savage precision and curved out, striking both the doctor and his assistant, who was on the other side of the gurney, along the sides of their heads. The two medical professionals gasped as they fell to the walls, holding their heads.
Alex threw his body off the gurney and he managed to land on his feet. Though his vision was blurred, he could make out the figures in white heading at him. He reacted, throwing his right leg out and catching the officer heading at him in the chin with the tip of his boot, knocking the officer down with a crunch at impact. Alex turned around to his right side, spotting another figure coming at him. He whipped his leg out, catching the officer along the side of his head. Then he stepped forward, grabbing the officer's arm and throwing him over his shoulder to the ground hard.
Then another officer was at him and Alex threw out a right hand, catching the officer in the face with a vicious fist to the side of the head. It staggered the officer, but didn't stop him. He turned his body to his left, then, stepped forward, slamming his elbow in the face of the officer. He heard a crunch and figured he'd broken the officer's nose and came close to it. But the officer was now on the ground and Alex looked down the corridor, seeing nothing there, so he started to head down it. Then, he heard a yell and he turned around.
His vision cleared somewhat and then he felt a searing pain tear through his right shoulder. He screamed out and fell against the wall of the corridor, his left hand immediately going to where the pain was. He pulled his hand away and felt blood. He looked up. Officer Green was standing there, his weapon pulled and Alex knew that he'd shot him with the laser weapon that was standard for all Time Force officers.
There was a sinister smile on Green's face. "Your not going nowhere, Commander."
Alex leaned against the wall and judged his options. Green was on the opposite wall, the gurney was the only thing in his way and Alex used it as an advantage. He kicked upwards with tremendous strength and the gurney slammed against Green, knocking the wind out of the officer and the weapon fell to the ground. Alex didn't wait any longer, he turned and ran down the corridors. He had better vision now and he headed down the familiar corridors he knew so well.
He stopped after several turns later when he was in front of a sliding steel door. At the keypad, he punched at a keypad a series of codes. The sliding door opened obediently. Alex walked through the doorway. Through the doorway was a long corridor with sliding concrete doors on each side.
It was the Time Force Vault System. The vaults were used to house old artifacts that Time Force discovered over the years of their inhabitance on Earth. Many of the items locked in these vaults Alex himself was a part of discovering all over the Earth. He hurried down the corridor until he came to one of the vault doors on the left side of the corridor. He pressed in a code on the keypad and the door obliged, opening instantly.
Alex walked in the vault. It was a small room with a single podium in the center and a small box on top of it. Alex walked to the podium and he opened the small black box. Inside the box, a soft blue cushion rested there with seven objects nestled on top of it. Five were rectangular shaped and had three letters on top of it. The other object was the one Alex was after. It had a black grip mechanism similar to that of the handlebar grips of a regular bicycle. Alex grabbed it and strapped it to his wrist. Then, he turned and he ran out of the vault and out of the vault systems.
Now, back in the corridors, he headed down the corridors that lead towards the docking bay.
It was another ten minutes before Alex found a shaft in the walls, where a ladder was extending downward that he took. His shoulder was killing him and the pain was stretching out all over his chest and up to his neck and he knew it wouldn't be too much longer before he'd completely pass out from it, but he forced himself to ignore that pain as he climbed down the step ladder in the shaft.
Finally, though, he made it to the docking bay and as he ran towards the Time Shadow, he heard the footsteps behind him. He turned his head and he spotted a group of Time Force officers, led by Officer Green, with their weapons drawn. And the next thing he knew, he saw blasts hit the ground in front of him and to the sides of him. Alex didn't stop though, he kept going, determined not to stop. He collided with the Time Shadow, then he ducked under it and stopped at the entrance to it. He pressed his thumb to a touchpad and spoke into the speaker. "Alex Drake." he managed to keep his voice calm.
The doors to the zord obediently opened and Alex hurried inside it. Alex got through the long corridor inside the zord and found his way to the cockpit of the massive zord. He put on his head a headset with a speakerphone. "Time Shadow, activate.......recognize voice command Alex Drake." he managed to say through the pain that was spreading through his body.
The Time Shadow lifted off the ground and Alex took command of the controls and he steered the Time Shadow out of the docking bay. Just as the zord cleared the docking bay and headed into the air, he heard a familiar voice come into his ear from the headset.
"Alex! Don't be stupid! Land the Time Shadow immediately!"
"I don't think so, General." Alex replied before he turned the radio off completely. Alex turned to a computer terminal and punched in four series of buttons, which effectively disabled Time Force's ability to shut the time portal down, and he activated the time portal for him. He punched in the year and location he wanted to go to. Then, as the Time Shadow passed through the Time Portal, Alex felt the pain intensify and he screamed.
He came close to passing out and he wished nothing more for it to end. But it didn't. It wouldn't.
Not for while yet.

Okay, here's the first update to Part 3. Remember to post responses. Thanks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Turtle Point Mountain, Outside Turtle Cove, Year 2002...
The Turtle Point Mountain was a mountain outside the city of Turtle Cove. It served as a barrier between cities along the upper boundaries of California and the location where Turtle Cove was located. It was also a great hiking and camping location. Thousands of Turtle Cove's citizens used the many hiking trails along the mountain as well as driving up the roads that were spaced throughout the entire mountain.
Along one of these mountain roads, there were thick trees and grass all over one side of the left and there was miles and miles of high grassy strains along the other side. The air was thin and clear, barely a gust of wind blowing at all. That all changed suddenly, as the air charged thickly and energy warped the clearness of the air over the high grass, at least two miles away from the road.
A circular hole appeared in the sky above and the Time Shadow zoomed through the hole, accelerating downwards quickly. Inside the cockpit of the zord, Alex's entire face and hands was slick with sweat, much of his uniform covered in dried blood stains and he gripped the steering controls with his good hand and used as much strength as he could with his weak one. As the zord moved downward rapidly, he managed to steer the Time Shadow until it became level with the ground as it landed, crushing stalks of the high grass, but otherwise not making that much of a change in the scenery around.
From inside the cockpit, Alex used his good arm to shut down the main controls, so to save power when the Time Shadow would really be needed. Alex had no doubt the zord would likely be needed in due time. Breathing rapidly and very heavily, Alex got out of the cockpit and made his way to the exit hatch and managed to get out of the Time Shadow. He stopped just outside it and he took a quick look around.
There was no one around, not that there would be because this was a location Alex had chosen precisely because it's mostly vacant during the years of this time period. Alex looked down at his chest. Using his left hand, he carefully lifted his yellow undershirt and white uniform away from his chest. He knew it had been serious when he'd first been blasted by Green, but he had no idea how bad it was until now.
There was a huge gash in the skin of his shoulder at least the size of a baseball and the way it looked, with the nasty purple and yellow lines all around it, Alex knew it was already infected. He was already almost out of strength to do anything and the pain that was constantly throbbing through him kept him close to passing out several times, but he managed to hold on. He wasn't sure how much longer he could stay awake.
He reached down to his belt and he pulled out a small black device about the size of his palm. He aimed it at the Time Shadow and pressed the only button on it. The Time Shadow began to fade from sight until it looked as if it was no longer there. He put the device back in his pocket and walked away from the Time Shadow.
He gasped out suddenly as his injury spasmed violently. His face showed the tremendous pain he now felt and he stumbled, almost falling to the ground, but he managed to keep his footing. He fell against a nearby tree, but he forged on. He didn't know exactly how far he'd gone, his vision was again starting to go, but he knew this was because of the injury, and not the drug wearing off.
He could vaguely make out the form of a road just ahead, then the pain seemed to be everywhere as the darkness swarmed all over him and he collapsed, falling onto his side before rolling over to his back. And the last thing he could remember seeing before the darkness completely took him was two headlights coming up the road and the sounds that came with an automobile approaching.
Then, he completely fell pray to the darkness as consciousness left him.

Year 3002...
General Albert Teague sat in his leather chair, at his desk in his office, studying a holographic screen that he'd called up. To say that General Teague was angry was a huge understatement. Everything that he'd been involved in setting into motion was now in danger. He knew Alex Drake and knew him well. Alex was the type of Time Force officer who believed in the laws, believed in the truth of the justice that is Time Force.
Alex was a man that went by the books at all times. And that was why it was so surprising to the General that he simply turned the other cheek when the Time Force Rangers attempted their escape. General Teague had been thinking about it all afternoon since they first escaped. Had Alex simply let personal feelings get in the way or had he believed in their innocence? It didn't make any sense.
But then, the General knew he'd made the mistake when he unveiled a few facts about what happened that night to Alex. True, he perhaps shouldn't have done that. Because, it gave Alex fuel to back up his decisions. But it was too late to do anything about it now. Alex had made his decisions and it was time to do damage control now.
The holographic screen the General was studying was showing Alex travel inside the vault corridor, then exit it quickly. There was only one camera inside the vault system and that was at the main hallway. There were no cameras inside any of the vaults. The screen showed Alex in the corridor where doors to the vaults were lined up on both sides. It showed Alex going into one of the doors, then reappearing a few moments later, strapping something to his wrist.
The problem was that General Teague couldn't make out what that object now on Alex's wrist was. And General Teague hated, absolutely hated, not being in the know in any situation. He studied the screen again, then looked down at the surface of his screen as there was a beep. He pressed a button. "What?" he barked into it.
"General," a male voice came through, "Dr. Raymond is here."
"Send him in." General Teague ordered.
A few seconds later, the doors to his office slid open and Doctor Raymond walked in, coming to a stop before his desk and standing still. Dr. Raymond was one of the General's aides, a man who appeared to be a by the books agent of Time Force, but was in fact, behind closed doors, a man who broke any rule and law he had to in order to achieve that which he or his superior, General Teague, needed. Dr. Raymond wasn't shy about hurting someone, or even killing someone, to get it.
And that's what made him a perfect disciple for General Teague. General Teague froze the holographic screen in front of him. "Raymond, get over here and tell me what exactly Alex took from the vaults."
Raymond looked puzzled. "The vaults?"
"The vaults, Raymond! Alex Drake was out of time, he was injured, yet he took time to stop at the vaults! I want to know why." General Teague stated.
Dr. Raymond studied the screen, letting it roll completely. Then, he looked at the General. "He went into Vault 11."
"What's in Vault 11?" the General asked, impatient.
Dr. Raymond exhaled. He knew it wouldn't be good when he disclosed the answer to the General. "Vault 11 houses the remnants of one of the early policing organizations on Earth. Back then, it was called S.P.D.. Alex, I believe, took one of the morphers."
The General closed his eyes. "Are you telling me that Alex not only has the Time Shadow, but he also possesses a Ranger morpher?"
"Yes sir." the doctor replied.
The General turned his back on the doctor and faced the window wall. He had a lot to consider now that Alex had complicated the situation with the Time Force Rangers. "Report back to your labs, Doctor."
Dr. Raymond nodded and he left the office.
General Teague continued to stare out of his window wall, watching the vehicles zoom on by through the air and watching the skies. He considered the consequences of Alex having that morpher and being in the past. He knew it could be devastating in the long run if the Rangers got the information that Alex now had. And Alex would by now, be more determined than ever to not only prove their innocence, but to make sure everything became public, make sure Central Headquarters on Eltare learned of what he was involved with.
General Teague wouldn't let that happen.
The beep on his desk came again and General Teague turned, pressing the same button. "What is it?"
"Sir, I have an incoming holocommunicate signal coming from Commandant McAllister's office at Central Headquarters." the voice came back.
General Teague exhaled, figuring the timing was right. He had superiors to answer to as well. "Patch it through."
"Yes sir."
General Teague sat down again and straightened himself up. Then, he pressed the button on his desk. A holographic image of a Time Force officer appeared. This officer wore the same style and color uniform that Teague himself wore, only there were more distinguishing medals and patches that showed him to have higher ranking than the General. The man had white hair, bald at the front and top, that curved around the sides and back of his head. He had a thick white mustache under his nose and he had dark eyes.
Eyes that General Teague himself was sometimes afraid to face. But face them he would. "Commandant McAllister, I have been expecting your communicate."
The Commandant's voice was thick and had a tinge of a Russian accent to it. "Albert, tell me this report I am hearing about is wrong. Commander Drake has not taken valuable Time Force technology and become a suspect like the Rangers."
"Handling it?" the Commandant's voice took on a darker and menacing edge, "You are handling it? General, I placed you in charge of our operations on Earth! I put you there to monitor things because I had faith in your ability! Is my faith misplaced!"
"No sir, it is not. Sir," the General replied, "it is unfortunate that the Time Force Rangers were firstly forced involved....and it is also unfortunate of Alex's decisions regarding them, but it all plays out to advantage. The experiment was a success. The Creator is in the past, securing what we have sought for centuries!"
"All right," the Commandant said, "tell me, how much does Drake know?"
"He knows that there was an experiment underway at Time Force when the Rangers reported in that night. He knows I am involved somewhat, but he had no details on any of it." the General answered.
"Alex Drake cannot be permitted to relay what he knows to the Time Force Rangers. If he does, then they become stronger enemies than they are now. We must send someone to take him out before he can make contact with the Rangers." the high ranking officer stated.
The General agreed. "I have someone in mind, but Commandant, there is one other thing."
"What is it?"
"Alex got into our vaults and he has procured for himself an S.P.D. morpher."
The Commandant shook his head. "This is quite a turn of events you have allowed to happen, General. Very well, the person we send to take Alex out must have the same if not stronger powers."
"Commandant, I have the perfect person in mind. It's someone who hates Alex and would do whatever it takes to destroy him."
"Who?" the Commandant asked.
The General smiled. "Nathan Striker."
The Commandant seemed surprised. "That is a surprising name, Albert. Are you sure he'll do it?"
"We give him back his old morpher and the chance for revenge, he'll do whatever we ask." the General leaned back in his chair.
The Commandant nodded. "Alright, I will arrange his transport from the Prisoning mines on Eltare Moon 1 straight to Earth. But make perfectly sure he understands what he has to do."
"It will be done, Commandant." the General promised.
McAllister nodded, and ended the translink. General Teague sat back in his chair, laced his fingers. The problem that was Alex Drake was about to be solved.
By a face from his past.

Don't worry, the next update will be up in the next day or so, so keep checking back. But I did want to announce that the Org Domination is going to be renamed because it no longer fits the direction I'm taking the story. And it's no longer going to be one story, but one long saga.
Here's how the titling of this saga is now going to go:
Power Rangers: The Org Wars
Book 1: Rise of the Creator
Book 2: Survival
Book 3: The Darkest of Days
Let me know if you think this new title is better.

Downtown Turtle Cove, Year 2002...
The battle in downtown Turtle Cove was now in full swing. The two massive creatures the Creator called Xyfocons were attacking the city and the four Wild Force Rangers had finished the Wraiths. Now they stood, ready to face down these massive creatures. The massive creatures wreaked havoc on the large skyscrapers that covered most of downtown Turtle Cove by crushing them with their bodies and breathing powerful flames of fire that made the buildings explode rapidly.
On the ground, the Time Force Rangers readied themselves. Red Lion Ranger turned to his comrades. "You guys ready for this?" he asked them.
"Let's take care of business, Cole." Yellow Eagle answered.
"Right." White Tiger agreed. She turned to Blue Shark. "Just follow our lead and you'll do fine."
Blue Shark Ranger just shook his head. "I sure hope so."
The four Rangers pulled out their Crystal Sabers and held them high above them. They nodded to each other. "Wild Zords Descend!"
The familiar whistling sound erupted through the air, bringing forth the Wild Zords. The Red Lion, Yellow Eagle, Blue Shark, White Tiger, and Black Bison charged from the Animariam to the city, obeying the call of the Rangers. Though the Black Ranger was not present, the Black Bison came anyway, ready to do it's part in defending the Earth. The four Rangers, with White Tiger showing Blue Shark, stood in their familiar circle, the points of their Crystal Sabers touching. Red Ranger used his left hand to hold the Bison orb over the centerpoint of their blades and he called out. "Wild Zords, combine!"
The five Wild Zords charged forward, with the Red Lion taking the form of the chest, the Tiger and Shark forming the left and right arms, the Bison forming the waist and torso region and legs, then the Yellow Eagle bonding with the neck region. The Wild Force Megazord shined brightly as it faced off with the two massive creatures sent to destroy the city.
"Wild Force Megazord, Power Up!" the four Rangers called from within the Soul Bird cockpit of the Megazord.
The two creatures wasted no time in their attacks. The two headed Xyfocon jumped off the ground, twisting it's body around and whipping it's strong razor sharp tail at the Megazord, catching it in the chest. The Megazord fell back a few steps. The other Xyfocon stalked forward and with it's massively strengthened arms, it delivered a flurry of rapid punches that got inside the Rangers' guards for the Megazord and the Megazord staggered backwards more.
"Come on guys! We've got to stop them!!" Red Ranger said from inside the Soul Bird cockpit.
The two legged Xyfocon nodded to the two headed Xyfocon and the two creatures unleashed rapid flames of powerful fire at the Megazord. The Rangers were unable to maneuver the Mergazord away in time and the blasts hit head on at the Megazord. Sparks and small explosions erupted at and around the Megazord. The Wild Force Megazord fell to the ground.
Inside the cockpit, the Rangers were having difficulty getting the zord back to it's feet. "What are these things hitting us with?!" White Ranger asked.
"Whatever it is.....it's weakening them unlike anything I've ever seen. I can feel the pain Yellow Eagle's in." Yellow Eagle said.
"I can feel Red Lion as well." Red Ranger stated. "Come on guys, let's get back on our feet."
Together, they were able to get the Wild Force Megazord back to it's feet, ready to confront the creatures once again. As the Megazord took a step forward, the Xyfocon with one head seemed to move like lightning because in an instant, it was behind them, holding the Megazord by the arms. It hissed two times and then the Rangers had to turn their attention to the other creature as it suddenly struck.
Both mouths of the two heads opened up and powerful surges of power blasted the Megazord and that was when the other creature let the Megazord go. The powerful blasts took the Megazord airborne and the massive zord flew through the air over fifty feet before it crashed through one of the buildings, tons of debris falling over it and the Rangers inside the cockpit, falling to their backs as they continued to try to mount some kind of offense against these powerfully hideous creatures.
As the two Xyfocon creatures stalked forward, their intent on finishing the Wild Force Rangers off, somewhere in Turtle Cove, the Creator smiled.

Turtle Cove, Year 2002...
The black SUV drove through the Turtle Cove streets, it being the only vehicle on the streets. In the distance the vehicle was traveling towards, the outlines of two massive creatures could be seen. There was smoke billowing up into the sky far off where those creatures seemed to be and there wasn't a single person to be seen in the buildings or on the streets.
The two occupants of the vehicles looked around carefully with caution and trying to see if they could locate anyone that might need any help from them. Wes and Eric watched the streets carefully as they maneuvered the SUV along the streets. Eric drove the SUV around another turn in the highway and it went straight ahead until he turned to the left again and this road they now were on lead straight to where the battle was taking place. After a minute, Eric slowed the SUV down as they saw their progress on the highway.
It was completely blocked by a swarm of Night Wraiths. Eric looked at Wes. "Guess this is where we stop." Eric stated.
"Yeah," Wes agreed, "and this is where we get to work."
Eric nodded as they unbuckled themselves from their seats and opened their doors, each getting out of the SUV as the Wraiths spotted them and began to close in on them. "Wes, can you handle these things?"
Wes looked at him. "Why? Where are you going?"
"I thought I'd take the Q-Rex and help the other Rangers with those creatures." Eric answered him quickly.
"I'll take care of 'em." Wes promised.
Eric nodded. "I believe you will."
The two Rangers took their familiar stances.
"Ready!" Wes voiced out.
"Ready." Eric replied.
"Time for Time Force!"
"Quantum Power!"
Fully encased in their Ranger armor, the two prepared to execute their goals. The Red Time Force Ranger went about meeting the Night Wraiths as they charged in against him and the Quantum Ranger went behind two buildings, easily getting away and around the Wraiths, so he could get himself into a position to summon his Q-Rex and help the other Rangers.
Help they desperately needed right now.

Mountain Range between Turtle Cove, Silver Hills, & Mariner Bay, Year 2002...
A devastating kick to the face sent Merrick crashing to the ground on his back, the impact forcing his lower body to roll him over until he was laying on his stomach and his face crushing into the grass and rocks. The Putrids, following Mandilok's orders, reacted immediately. Two of them raced over and grabbed Merrick, pulling him up until he was on one knee, holding the former Silver Ranger by the arms.
Merrick had a bloody lip and he was bruised just below his right eye. The battle he'd endured had been a difficult and lengthy one with him trying his best to fend off Putrid after Putrid while Mandilok fired blasts at him every time he got the upper hand. And Zen-Aku hadn't appeared, not that Merrick had expected him to. To be truthful, Merrick wasn't sure what to expect from Zen-Aku. Zen-Aku was on a quest all his own, to find his own identity separate from that which was his Org heritage.
But Merrick felt him near. He felt Zen-Aku, and he'd felt the Org's presence since before the attack even started. Merrick was just unsure of what, if any, action Zen-Aku would take. Merrick looked up, his lower lip covered in blood, as Mandilok walked over to him.
"Finally, the mysterious Merrick will die. Your time is over." Mandilok said.
"I don't know where you came from," Merrick said, "but you won't win. Someone will stop you.....even if it's not me."
"Oh, it won't be you." Mandilok laughed heartily. "And soon, your friends will fall at the hands of my master. Then, this planet will once again belong to us!"
Merrick struggled against his captors, but the Putrids held fast and he wasn't strong enough to break their grip. Most of his energy had been taken during the early stages of this battle. Now, Merrick had no choice but wait for the final blow to happen. Then, Mandilok did something that Merrick wasn't expecting. It caught him offguard.
"Zen-Aku," Mandilok called out, "I know your here. Come on out here."
There was a rustle in the bushes on the upside of the hill where they all were and then, Zen-Aku was there, walking out from behind a tree and walking towards them. The wolf like Org walked until he stood right in front of Merrick, and standing next to Mandilok. Mandilok spoke again. "Zen-Aku, you are an Org, a servant of our master, the Creator. And you must obey your heritage. Destroy this weak human and return with me to greet our master!"
Zen-Aku didn't say anything, he just took a full step towards Merrick and he extended his right hand. He summoned his Crescent Blade and it magically appeared in his hand. Zen-Aku, his eyed trained on Merrick, extended the blade out, the tip of it coming close to Merrick's face. Mandilok laughed, glad to have Zen-Aku doing something he hadn't done in a long time.
Following orders.
Then, Mandilok was forced to stop laughing as he watched the impossible transpire. Zen-Aku brought his Crescent Blade back, the entire length of the blade extending back over his left shoulder, then he moved, his body twisting around quickly and with rapid precision, the blade already moving in a perfect arc. It struck Mandilok in the chest, the power of the impact sending Mandilok off his feet, through the air, and crashing against a tree trunk. Then, Zen-Aku was in the air, twisting his body around and super kicking the Putrid that held Merrick's right side. As he landed on the ground, he struck out, striking the other Putrid across the chest, effectively freeing the weakened Merrick.
Merrick fell to his hands and knees and Zen-Aku walked over, looking down at Merrick. Merrick looked up. "Grab my arm." Zen-Aku said, extending his left hand down.
Merrick reached up and grabbed the arm, hoisting himself up somewhat, just as Mandilok recovered from his crash against the tree. He stared at Zen-Aku, anger and shock reverberating his entire being. "You have turned against your own kind!" he snarled.
Zen-Aku extended his blade out, the point facing Mandilok. "The Orgs were never my kind. I hold no allegiances to anyone anymore. Make sure he understands that."
"You will pay for this treachery, Zen-Aku! I promise you!!" Mandilok roared.
Zen-Aku said nothing, he just brought his arm back over his chest, the Crescent blade against his chest and shoulder. Then, he and Merrick were gone, vanishing in Zen-Aku's familiar black and purple energy flash.
And Mandilok's anger and rage grew. He would make Zen-Aku pay. One way or the other.

Downtown Turtle Cove, Year 2002...
On the ground level, in the street, of Turtle Cove, a battle was taking place. Several of the Creator's Night Wraiths, their blades already unsheathed, were doing battle with the Red Time Force Ranger. The Red TF Ranger had his Chrono Sabers in both of his hands as he engaged the Night Wraiths. He ducked under an overhead strike thrown by a Wraith and he combined his two Sabers to form one long Chrono Saber. Holding it in his two hands, he engaged his enemy.
There were at least twenty Night Wraiths attacking the Red Ranger and he went at them in a flurry of strikes, striking one Night Wraith after another, sending each and every one down. Each Wraith, however, got right back to it's feet just moments after being knocked down. Red Ranger struck out again, striking one Night Wraith across the chest, forcing it down again.
Then, a Night Wraith came at him from the right side, using it's sword and swing down, catching the Ranger at the chest, his Chrono Saber hitting the ground and clattering away from where he fell to his back. Red Ranger rolled back to his feet, bringing forth his Chrono blaster. He took aim and opened fire, sending a fresh spraying of blasts at his enemy. He reholstered his blaster, and stepped back. The Night Wraiths were already back to their feet and they were beginning to advance.
"Alright," Red Ranger nodded to himself, "it's time to take this to the next level! Red Battle Warrior!"
The powerful flames of the Battle Fire surged through the Red Ranger's body, transforming him from a Red Time Force Ranger into a Ranger with the powerful armor of the Battle Fire. Now fully encased in the powerful armor of the Battle Fire, Red Ranger stepped forward. "Battle Fire Saber!" he called.
He pointed the long golden sword charging with energy out towards the oncoming Night Wraiths. He nodded to himself again. "Ignite!"
His sword erupted with one long flame covering the entire blade. Using his arm, he created a ring of fire completely in front of himself. Then, he brought his fire ignited Sabre up over his shoulder, prepared for the final strike against the Night Wraiths. "Yahh!" he cried out as he swung his Battle Fire Saber at them.
A fiery, explosive eruption rocketed through the streets they were battling on, sending sprays of fire in all directions. The Red Battle Warrior stood victorious, his sword strong and true as, when the smoke cleared, the Night Wraiths were on the ground, but this time they were not getting up.
Nodding to himself, he powered himself back down to his regular Ranger form and he started running, heading towards the location of the city where the Zord battle was still going on.

Great chapter. And good to see Zen-Aku on the good side for once. Looks like the rangers are starting to come together. What will Taylor say when she sees that Eric is here to help. And even more so, what will Wes and Jen say when they see each other again.

Part 3 is only about four to six scenes until it's over and Part 4 will start. Hope you've enjoyed the epic so far. Things are starting to heat up and pretty soon, the guest appearances will start. And please, let me know what you think of the Alex subplot. Is it a good direction? Bad? I'm curious.
Here's the update:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Downtown Turtle Cove, Year 2002...
The two massive creatures stalked the Wild Force Megazord. The Rangers had been able to get the Megazord back on it's feet, but after several more blasts coming from the creatures, the Megazord was falling backwards again. The standing creature jumped into the air, striking at the Megazord with both it's feet.
The impact sent the Megazord kareening backward, but it stayed on it's feet. Inside the Megazord, the Rangers readied themselves. "Alright guys," Red Lion Ranger nodded to the others, "let's get to it. Fin Blade!"
The Fin Blade appeared on the Megazord, and they used it against the creature with two legs, but it had little to no effect on the creature. It responded by sending a blast of fire against the Megazord, causing sparks to erupt from the Megazord as it moved backward.
The Megazord stepped forward, delivering the Tiger Fury and Shark Surge power shots that were successful in destroying so many Orgs in the past. This time, the two creatures absorbed the shots and dodged away, getting themselves in position for the next attack. The creature with four legs struck suddenly and with savage precision, attacking the Megazord with a flurry of strikes from it's massive claws that took the Megazord off of it's feet again.
This time, though, the Megazord crashed harder than ever before, completely dislodging the Rangers from the Megazord and forcing the Megazord to split back up into it's five components: the Lion, the Tiger, the Bison, the Eagle, and the Shark.
When they hit the ground, their powers completely overloaded from the usage in the Megazord and they were demorphed instantly, falling the ground, back in their street clothes. Taylor, Cole, Alyssa, and Blain struggled to get back to their feet, their Wild Zords weak and injured, trying to recover themselves as the creatures closed in on all of them.
"What do we do now?" Blain asked them, studying their faces.
"I-I don't know." Cole answered, obviously disconcerted at the recent change of events.
The creatures loomed closer, snarling and hissing as they moved in for the final strikes.
Then, a series of blasts came out of nowhere, striking both creatures. The creatures snarled and hissed in outrage and they turned in the direction that the fiery blasts came from. The Wild Force Rangers on the ground trained their eyes in the same direction.
There was a skyscraper several buildings away and the creatures zeroed in on the single figure that stood on the rooftop of it. They charged for that building. On the ground, Cole, Taylor, Alyssa, and Blain looked at the rooftop of the building intently.
"Who is that?" Blain asked, the building was too far away from him to make anyone out.
"I can't....tell. Building's too far away." Taylor responded.
The creatures closed in on the single solitary figure that stood on the rooftop of the building. And on that rooftop, the Quantum Ranger stared at the oncoming creatures. "My, my, you are ugly, aren't you boys." he said, before bringing his left wrist to his face. "Quantasauras Rex, online!"
Back on the ground, the four WF Rangers stared in astonishment as the Qunatasauras Rex came charging through the streets, ready for battle. "I don't believe it!" Alyssa exclaimed. "It's Eric!"
Taylor didn't say anything. She couldn't. She just couldn't believe he was here, in Turtle Cove. In all the chaos that had been this very day, she hadn't thought, nor had she the opportunity to take a few minutes to call Eric and here he was, somehow knowing they needed help, coming to the rescue. She would have to thank him later. And remind him she didn't need his help, of course. But for now, she was okay to watch him and see how his Q-Rex would fare against the two creatures.
Quantum Ranger continued to communicate with the Q-Rex. "Q-Rex, fire lasers, full power!"
While still on the charge, the Q-Rex fired powerful blasts of energy out of it's lasers. The laser blasts penetrated through the four legged creature's tough skin and the creature hissed in agony, falling to the ground before jumping back up to rejoin the attack. The blasts hit the other creature as well, slowing it down considerably, but not doing any permanent damage.
Quantum Ranger opened a communication channel with Cole's Growl Phone. "Rangers, come in."
Cole flipped his phone open and the others gathered near. "Eric! Man, it's so good to hear from you!"
"I'm glad I could make it. Listen, I need you guys to remorph and direct your Wild Zords to fire as much fire power at those creatures."
"What exactly are you thinking, Eric" this came from Alyssa.
"We fire enough firepower at them, maybe it'll fry 'em." Quantum Ranger's response came.
"We'll give it a shot." Cole agreed. "Ready guys!"
They nodded to him.
"Wild Access!"
The four Wild Force Rangers, now fully re-encased in their Ranger armor, turned their attention to their Wild Zords. "Wild Zords, we need your help!" Red Ranger stated.
The Red Lion roared, as did the Shark and Tiger. The Eagle and Bison made their sounds and the five Zords positioned themselves in a circle around the two creatures. And the Q-Rex closed the last gap of the circle.
"Ready!" Quantum Ranger called out.
"We're ready!" they called back, now safely inside their own respective Wild Zord.
"Fire! Give it all you've got!" the order came from the Quantum Ranger.
Powerful blasts of power came from the Lion, the Eagle, the Tiger, the Bison, and the Shark, as well as incredible fire blasts ripped from the Q-Rex. All of the blasts hit both of the creatures at once, and the creatures snarled in painful agony as the blasts were finally able to rip through their scales, their skin and begin the destroying process.
The two legged creature caught fire, the flames spreading to all inches of it's body. The four legged creature then suddenly exploded, causing a massive fiery exploision to erupt from the other creature and the blast exploded upwards and outwards, the flames almost touching the zords as they slowly began to recede their blasts.
It was silent for several long moments as the smoke from the powerful explosions began to settle and clear away, leaving nothing there but the remains of two very dangerous, very lethal, and very powerful creatures. The first threat brought to the world by the Creator.
And that first threat was now over. The first victory was earned. The only thing left for the Rangers to wonder about was.....what would happen next?
*****
Turtle Cove, Year 2002...
Thick billows of smoke was filtering up into the sky from the area where the battle raged and from a large skyscraper a good amount of distance away, the Creator stood at his wall sized window, staring at the smoke as it drifted up into the sky. He had been watching visual mapping of the battle over by his desk, but when it became apparant to him that his two creatures were going to fail because of the combined firepower of the Quantasauras Rex and the Wild Zords, he closed the visuals and turned away.
He had a lot to think about now. To be absolutely truthful, he had used his Xyfocons as a way or a means of testing his enemies. His first act against the Rangers, taking away two of their Rangers was to weaken them. In his ultimate majesty, he hadn't counted on them finding two others to fill in the shoes of those two Rangers. And he hadn't expected Wesley Collins and Eric Myers to actually make it to Turtle Cove in time.
But they had and now, his two creatures of incredible power were gone, destroyed by Wild Zords and a zord created by futuristic technology. The Creator, in his human form, crossed his arms over his chest as his strategic mind continued to process.
He knew his creatures wouldn't completely destroy the Rangers. Just as he knew they'd end up being destroyed. They were lambs. Sacrificial lambs that he led to slaughter. Back in the original time of his rule, they had come in quite handy in fighting his enemies, but that was then, and not now. He learned a lot from today's events. A lot about the Rangers, a lot about how they worked, how they thought and how they fought. And now, he was closer to the ultimate plan to be rid of them.
He felt a presence shimmer in the room, but he stayed still, even as the reflection in the glass showed Onikage appearing, then kneeling when he spotted the Creator by the wall. Onikage bowed his head for a moment, then lifted it. "My lord, the Rangers think they've won......they'll soon celebrate. Now is the time to strike, send down forces and finish them!"
The Creator considered Onikage's words, dissected them. He could, of course, flood the streets with his forces and most likely eliminate at least one of the Rangers because it would be the element of surprise in his favor. He could. That's what Onikage was thinking. But Onikage was nothing more than a servant, a lackey there only to do his bidding. It wasn't Onikage's responsibility to think, only to obey. That was his function. It was why the Creator brought him back. The only reason.
The Creator spoke, his back still to Onikage. "No," he said softly, "they have their victory today. Let them keep it, enjoy it, celebrate it. Because this isn't the end. This is only the beginning." The Creator turned his head slightly and Onikage could see his profile, see the darkness that lurked in those dark eyes and the menace that was rolling off of his face. "They have no idea what's to come. What I'll put them through."
And the Creator continued to watch the smoke rise up into the sky, even as Onikage remained on one knee, waiting for the permission to rise.

Year 3002...
General Teague stood in his spacious office, watching a video scan showing a Time Ship landing on top of the booking and temporary holding buildings of Time Force. The General continued to watch as the hatch to the ship opened and several Time Force officers walked down the ramp, escorting what looked like a prisoner. The prisoner had dark hair, a fair skinned complexion, was of average height, and dark brown eyes.
The prisoner wore a white two piece jumpsuit that most prisoners that weren't cryogenically frozen were issued by Time Force Central Headquarters on Eltare. This particular prisoner, General Teague knew from personal experience, was one not to underestimate because he'd successfully escaped three times before. But he'd always been brought back into custody. Each time, the same Time Force officer had been the one to track this prisoner down and bring him back in.
And that had been Alex Drake. That was only part of the reason General Teague wanted this particular prisoner to take Alex out. The other reason was simply because who the prisoner was. His name was Nathan Striker and he and Alex had a very colorful history together. Both went through the Time Force schooling together and graduated together. Both were first assigned together as partners, but it was only after that that things began to change.
While Alex stuck strictly to his teachings, Nathan was the type of guy who wanted nothing but power and influence throughout the galaxy. And Nathan did whatever he felt was necessary to achieve his goals. Bringing a subject in, taking criminals out, even breaking the rules.....Nathan was willing and able to do it all. And he did break many rules. Eventually becoming part of what he was trained to stop.
A criminal. Nathan eventually set out to begin his own criminal enterprise. He did it covertly, of course, and for two years, Time Force had no idea of what Nathan had begun to get his hands in. It was Alex who first discovered it and brought the evidence to Time Force Central Headquarters. Then, Nathan Striker was tried and convicted of multiple counts of the criminal activity he was guilty of. And, for the past two years, he'd been serving his time on the prison colony on one of Eltare's moon.
Which included his brief periods of freedom when he escaped the three times. Nathan Striker was one of the best, if not the best, trackers Time Force had ever produced. And the only one who was even remotely close to matching Nathan's skills was Alex. Back then, Alex was the one the General trusted, counted on. But now, the General needed to have Alex taken care of and he knew the only one to do was Nathan Striker.
Nathan hated Alex. Believed that by turning him in, he'd betrayed Nathan. And Nathan wanted nothing more than to get his revenge. Today, the General would give him the chance. General Teague spoke into his com. "Take the prisoner into Holding Station 9. I'll be there momentarily."
Then, the General shut his system down and he exited his office. He walked down the many corridors and hallways that led to the holding stations and when he finally arrived, he already spotted Dr. Raymond with a Time Force officer. Upon seeing the General, the officer stood straighter.
General Teague saluted the officer. "Report to Station 12 until told otherwise."
"Yes sir."
The General watched as the officer left, not speaking until the officer was gone. Then, he turned to Dr. Raymond. "What are you doing here, Dr.?"
"General, there is a matter I need to speak with you about. Involving Alex Drake." the Doctor responded.
General Teague nodded. "Alright, after I speak with the prisoner here, I'll hear you. Report to my waiting area, outside my office and I'll be there shortly."
"Yes sir." Dr. Raymond obeyed and he as well left.
General Teague pressed a key and the sliding doors opened, letting the senior TF officer inside the holding station. Nathan Striker sat behind a long glass top table, his hands and feet shackled together. Two Time Force officers stood on either side of him. General Teague addressed the officers. "Unlock his shackles and get out. I need to speak to Striker alone."
The officers did as requested. They knew not to question the General. When they were gone, General Teague was left staring at Nathan Striker, who now was rubbing his wrists, staying seated, though he could now stand anytime he wanted to. General Teague spoke. "Welcome back to Earth, Nathan." he said simply.
Nathan was looking at his wrists, but now he looked up, his brown eyes studying the General. "So, the great and powerful General Teague is behind my transport here. I should be surprised, but somehow, I'm not."
The General chuckled. "Then you already have an idea about why you're here."
"I know," Nathan said, "what I need to know."
"Which is?" General Teague asked.
Nathan stood and he stared straight at General Teague. "You want me to take out Alex."
General Teague's face showed the shock he felt. "How do you know that?"
"Just because I was tried and convicted by the Tribunal, that doesn't mean the influence and connections I had went away. When I want to know something, all I have to do is get the word out and eventually, someone will get me what I want to know." Nathan told him, walking around the glass table. "Word reached the penal colony that the Time Force Rangers had performed an act of treason against Time Force.....and I wanted to know why. So, now I know why."
"Do you?" General Teague asked. "Do you really."
"The great and honorable Alex Drake!" Nathan said the words with mockery. "Alex took their sides and now, he's in the past and you want him gone. But before I agree to anything, I want to know why you are so tenacious to be rid of him."
General Teague walked around the room. "Alright, I'll tell you this much. I was running an experiment the night the attack at Time Force happened. The Time Force Rangers just happened to bring in suspects when it happened. And I arranged it so that the Tribunal Judges would accept the Rangers as the guilty parties for it."
"To cover up what really happened." Nathan nodded. "That's devious."
"So were you, once upon a time." General Teague replied right back.
Nathan tilted his head and closed his eyes, accepting the remark as truth. Because during his two years, he had tortured many innocent people to get information that he needed. He truly hadn't cared back then. Not that there was any difference in him now. "And Alex?"
"Commander Drake just happened to believe in their innocence. He took their side and has since escaped into the past. Year 2002 to be exact. But more importantly, he has information that I cannot have him leaking to the Rangers in that time. He is injured, weak. And I need him taken out before he heals. Understand?"
"Okay," Nathan rubbed his hands together, studying the General, "what kind of deal are you making me?"
"I will authorize your full release and pardon. Your slate will be wiped clean, your records erased. In return, eliminate Alex Drake before he lets anyone know what he knows."
"That's it?"
General Teague nodded. "And there's one other thing. Before Alex escaped us, he managed to break into the vaults, and he stole an S.P.D. morpher. I believe it was the Omega one."
Nathan shook his head. "Your sending me after Alex, with nothing but my own senses? When he has the Omega Morpher?"
"No," General Teague stated, "we will give you your old morpher. The one you found on Aquitar during one of yours and Alex's early missions. You will get your Hunter Caller back. That should be enough firepower to match the Omega powers Alex will undeniably use."
Nathan didn't need to think about it. The chance to get Alex was too tempting and besides, after it was over, he could always disappear in the past, just in case General Teague was lying to him about the pardon. "You've got a deal, General."
"Good." General Teague said, already heading towards the doors. "When the Time Ship is ready, I'll have an Officer escort you to the Time Ship, where your Hunter Caller and a change of clothes will be for you. Nathan, you have this one chance. Don't fail."
"I promise you, General." Nathan said, smiling slightly. "Alex isn't going to know what hit him."
General Teague nodded and he left the room, walking down the corridors and hallways until he was once again going towards his office. He walked into the waiting area outside his office and he nodded to Dr. Raymond to follow him. Then, they were in his office and the General was sitting behind his desk. "Okay, Doc, what's the situation you wanted to talk to me about?"
Dr. Raymond spoke. "Sir, I've been doing some research and the drug that I injected Alex with before his escape attempt should be taking effect on him by now. And, it has an antidote."
General Teague rolled his eyes. "I know that, Doc. The antidote's here, in our time, not the time he's in."
"General, the early versions of the antidote to the drug he's injected with contains certain herbs and plants. The mountain region that I've spotted the Time Shadow in has an abundance of those herbs and plants. It's theoretically possible that an antidote could be surmised using them."
General Teague stood up immediately. "What?! Are you telling me that Alex could already be healing before we've even got Striker there!"
"No," Dr. Raymond stated, "Alex is too weak and in too much pain from the blast to be able to even think straight, let alone search the herbs out. But if he were in someone's care who possessed any medical experience, like a doctor or nurse.....then yes, an antidote could be found. All the person would have to do is recognize certain physical signs within Alex. All I'm saying as that we should be prepared for that possibility."
General Teague looked at his desk. "Do you know where Alex is right now?"
"No, I can pinpoint his exact location from here only when he's conscious. Right now, he's unconscious....so I don't know exactly where he is. I've got a general vicinity, but that's all. When he regains consciousness, I'll get his exact location." Dr. Raymond explained.
General Teague nodded. "Okay, I want to know the second you have his location pinpointed. For now, we'll send Striker as close to that area as possible from here. Nathan can track Alex from wherever he winds up. Keep me informed, Doc."
"I will sir." Dr. Raymond nodded, then he turned and left the General alone.
General Teague sat back down and he rested his left index finger on his chin, his mind deep in thought.

Great chapter. Good battle scene. So the rangers have won round one, but it looks like more trouble is ahead for them. Can't wait to see what happens next.
